Went for a meal with my young child while on holiday the food was amazing and massive Portions. Staff were great really friendly and the child loved being able to watch his pizza cook in front of us.

Era cliente recurrente. Estuve allí un par de semanas con amigos y realmente me gustó, así que decidí llevar a mi familia a cenar allí. Pero lo lamenté tan pronto como empezó a llegar la comida. El menú es una broma, pedí pizza con gambas y recibí plato de gambas en salsa de tomate? ‍ ??. Cuando se quejó con el camarero, dijo que eso es lo que es. Entonces, ¿por qué estaba debajo de la sección de pizza? Cuando recibimos una hamburguesa fría, nos dijeron que eso era lo que debía ser y eso es todo. . . Las comidas principales llegaron antes que los entrantes. Carbonara era repugnante, sabía a sopa de leche con tocino viejo y masticable. La pizza estaba bien. . . En comparación con la experiencia anterior en este restaurante, esta vez sin duda salió mal. No entiendo cómo no puede haber una gerencia para procesar el reembolso o incluso hablar con nosotros, ya que el servicio claramente no cumplía con nuestras expectativas. No había rollos de papel en los baños a pesar de que estaba muy tranquilo. No volveré allí más. Horrible.

Al encontrarnos en Putney después de haber disfrutado de una bebida en un pub local, decidimos darle un giro a este lugar. Se veía bien, y el personal era amable y servicial. Pedimos la pizza americana y los tagliatelle al ragu con una botella de Valpolicella. Mi pizza era grande y sugeriría que fuera demasiado grande para una persona. Era suave y grasoso, como dijo el Viejo Caballero en Indianna Jones y The Last Crusade hice una mala elección. Por otro lado, el ragú estaba muy bueno, tanto que no pude probarlo, ¡ya es suficiente! Una sabia elección. El postre era tiramisú, desafortunadamente la presentación no fue su punto fuerte ya que parecía un desastre, ¡no Eton, podría agregar! Tenía un sabor razonable, pero podría haber sido mucho más. El vino tenía un precio excesivo de 29 = 50, fácilmente disponible alrededor de la marca 12 en el exterior. Esta fue nuestra primera comida desde el cierre, afortunadamente las cosas solo pueden mejorar

La calidad de la pizza era terrible: precalentada / congelada. Fuimos a almorzar y no pudimos cenar ese día, ya que no nos sentimos nada bien después de la comida. Comida cara para pizzas precalentadas. Por favor evítelo.

Went to the newly refurbished ll Gusto Italiano Restaurant last night in Putney. The interior is dimly lit in the first section with an intimate atmosphere while the back section is bright and cheerful with the sound track of popular Italian songs, reminiscent of our holidays in Italy. We chose to sit at the back.The food was excellent, generous portion and good value for money. Both the starters of a selection of cured meat and salad and crispy light battered courgette, prawns and squid were delicious with a side of a large plate of foccacia flat bread were perfect. My choice of seafood linguine marinara was excellent with very generous amount of mussels, squid, prawns and clams in just the right balance of the tangy tomato sauce and herbs and the linguine was perfectly cooked on the right side of al dente. It is one of the best Italian pasta I have ever tasted and I am a big fan of pasta. Compliments to the chef! The only criticism is the tiramisu is a bit too soggy and the service is very slow. Although it was fairly quiet when we were there, we have to wait quite a while for our food to be served but our server Mario was lovely and friendly. If the service could speed up, it would be the perfect place to have your Italian food fix. I heard the pizza is very good from other customer. This calls for an encore visit.

We were regulars at 'The Italian boys' and 'Rogerios', the two previous incarnations of this restaurant, always very good food served promptly. The restaurant has now been fully refurbished and re-opened as 'il gusto Italiano' under new management. The decor has been transformed and it's lovely inside. However.... After ordering our food we finally started to complain at the lack of actually receiving any after 45 minutes despite the place being very quiet. While we waited two other diners walked out after having mushrooms in a dish they specifically asked for without mushrooms, the manager tried to convince them that it was ok as the mushrooms were chopped very small.... As we approached the one hour mark of waiting and having been told a few times that the food was '5 minutes away' one of us finally received some food. Over the course of the next 15 minutes, every so often someone would get a meal (there were 7 of us in total). However we got to the point where six of us had finally had and finished our food and the seventh (our little boy) still hadnt had received his pizza! When it finally arrived, the best part of an hour and a quarter after ordering it wasn't cooked properly (i guess they rushed it out) and the cheese on top was more like that you'd find in a cheese toastie. Our son refused to eat it.... To be fair we got more than 50% off the bill because the experience was so terrible but boy oh boy we will not be going back. I have no idea how it could have gone so badly wrong, as I said earlier the place wasn't anywhere near busy. Sadly the food wasn't up to the previous standards either :( Such a shame as we used to love going there.

I popped in for a pizza. This was excellent! I was a loyal customer of the previous management, "the Italian Boys". I would say that it seems to have even enproved! Original Italian menu at a reasonable price. High
