Il Cigno Pizzeria in Stockton-on-Tees

This in my opinion was once one of the best takeaways in Billingham. Tonight we ordered two chicken kebabs with separate garlic, got home and no salad (states that it comes with salad), garlic slopped all over the place, and the chicken looks far from fresh. The staff didn’t look interested, and how this place scored a 5 for food hygiene is beyond me. We won’t use again and I’d advise others to give this place a wide berth. Billingham has much better takeaways that offer far superior food quality.

This place is spot on for a parmo

Had to wait over an hour for the pizza because they forgot to do it

Always used to go here until last Sunday when the food was bad enough to cause gastroenteritis

Always nice and friendly staff Food is always nice They've sorted the service problems they used to have, possibly by changing staff. Whatever they've done, it's worked Service and food are great

Good pizzas and burgers and kebab with a very good choice of menu. Good size portions with plenty of chucky chips.Worth a visit. A good menu to choose from above the serving counter.

Terrible food, the pizza was okay but the doner meat, and cheesy chips made everyone else badly ill, never again.

Very poor service again,x3 times the order has been messed up...poor service..food average...consumer service is very very poor,would strongly suggest if you do use this place (not that I will again) check your order before paying any money....check out other reviews on just eat etc.

Hamburger buns over toasted dry. Meat patties burnt around edges. Couldn't eat it. Second time . Disgusting food. Diet coke was the best but hugely over priced

Not great to be honest 1st time in many many years, salad woeful, kebab meat bland and not loads, pittas all split and unusable, shame. But hey ho

Always get grilled chicken kebab. Love it.

There's better places than this

Gf bought a chip wrap with garlic.. three of us shared it and all three of us have had stomach cramps since.

Ordered wraps. Checked 3 times it was wraps as last time order was wrong. Hour later order arrives and its wrong. Over hour later they bring wraps. And ask to take the wrong food away good luck who ever is having that. After 20 years will not use again who knows who's off cast we will get shocking

Pizza and chips were binned , they arrived late and were stone cold Rang to complain . They offered replacement but we declined , couldn’t face another Won’t be using you again , complete turn off

Furious about tonights take out I always get a chicken kebab and always had good things to say about it and I always make the effort to travel from Hartlepool to collect. I got home with one tonight and when I opened it I was not happy at all. 5 small bits of chicken that wouldn't even fill a child. Portions are usually good from here but this was shocking. Especially at the price and advertised as a large. I'll never go back now so they have lost a regular customer who was prepared to travel out of my area. I have used this pizza shop since I was a kid but Id never go back after that.

It's been little hit and miss over the past year or so, but tonight everything was perfect. *) Order correct *) Everything fresh including salad was lovely *) Chips have really improved.over the past 12 months *) Portion sizes back good value for money. Well done for pulling it back

Ordered 2 pizza and 2 donor kebabs, got them home, No salad on the kebabs, so took the kebabs back, guy behind counter said I could have 2 salads but not the now cold kebabs replaced, the guy behind the counter with the bandana on was very arrogant said to me can I give you some advice, just pop it in the microwave when you get home,

Chip fat badly needs replacing, stupid policy on offers (if you order a London pizza you don't get sauce because its in an offer that comes with sauces?) Pizza was plastic, donner meat was greasy. Overall will not be going back. Manager seems to have an attitude (on multiple visits)

Waited well over an hr and half for the food and when it arrived it was cold rock hard pizza and chips. Such a shame it used to be nice here.

The only pizza shop I will eat meat from. Chicken kebab and tandoori chicken kebabs are the best

I am absolutely disgusted with a supposedly 1/2 a Parmesan which my father has just purchased for our teas. Dry, thin, very small portion, semi burnt on bottom and no flavour. The garlic sauce he received was 3/4 full & chips were cold. This place is definitely nowhere near as good as it was. Very very poor, very disappointed. Waste of money for £7.40. Never go there again!!! Can’t upload photos taken, probably just as well.

Ordered a couple times from here always good service

£6.90 for a chicken kebab and it didn’t include chips. Had to pay £1.40 extra for chips, only to be given cheap nasty from-frozen. £6.50 for the same meal at Crispy Cod with proper chips. No matter what I order from this place, it’s a disappointment.

Ordered veg pizza, doner and chicken kebab. Doner was rank, tasted of oil .. ‘vile’ probably last nights warm up, even the dogs wouldn’t eat it.. and the pitta bread.. you could have cut the pizza with it. Very very disappointed !

Love this pizza shop food is fab however have a massive issue with the telephone manner of the guys who always answers. Puts me in bad mood everytime I ring!

Unfortunately have resorted to using a different takeaway as service gone down hill and get orders wrong new inexperienced staff.

20 minute wait just for a kebab. Half the size it normally is . Had to warm it up in the microwave even though only live a 2 minute drive away. Very poor .

Ordered special kebab chicken full of fat and grissle inedible lamb meat tough inedible kebab meat was nice quality seems to have gone down in my opinion will have to find somewhere else for food.

Loved the kebab but sadly we did not get salad box. It was missed ....... we would have rated 5 star if salad had come as ordered.

Fab food - wish they did delivery tho :)
