IKEA Restaurant in Exeter

Stood there for 20 minutes and the que didn't move at all. Half a dozen staff standing around chatting or staring at the wall but not serving anyone. Eventually gave up and left.

One of the best full English's I'd ever had, it was quite cheap as well. I do recommend going here, the normal breakfast was £4.00, which is quite good compared to other places I've had full Englishs from. Downsides was the drink machine was a bit broken, I tried having sparkling blackcurrant and got a nice glass of froth instead, but the next time I came here it was working and I wasn't having to drink froth.

O! Fair IKEA, thou vast emporium of marvels untold, wherefore I wandered amidst thine endless halls, a humble traveler in the year of our Lord, two thousand and twenty-four. Upon the threshold of thine gates did I stand, ere the great doors, as if enchanted, did part before me. Within, a kingdom of wood and fabric unfurled, each corner brimming with treasures to be won. Behold! A multitude of couches doth greet the eye—couches soft as clouds, whereupon one might recline in peaceful slumber, or sit in contemplation deep, pondering the mysteries of flatpack design. Chairs in abundance—some regal, some simple—stood like sentinels, inviting weary souls to rest their bones upon their welcoming frames. Yet, what light through yonder aisle breaks? ‘Tis the kitchens! O kitchens, where cabinets doth shimmer like moonlight upon a tranquil sea, and countertops stretch forth as far as the eye can see. Each drawer doth glide as though on wings, and every shelf seems to whisper: "Come, fill me with thy pots and pans, thy humble spoons and noble goblets." Nay, the adventure was not without trial, for lo! The labyrinth of aisles did twist and wind like Ariadne’s thread, leading me deeper into a maze of delights. Verily, I found myself lost in the land of duvets, where soft linens and pillows beckoned with promises of eternal rest. But who could resist the siren’s call of Swedish meatballs, that ambrosia of the gods? Anon, I did arrive at the fabled Marketplace, where wonders manifold lay before me: candles, vessels, and gadgets aplenty—tools to stir the heart and spark the imagination. And yet, amidst the joy, the task at hand did loom large, for I, too, must assemble the fruits of this journey. But hark! One sorrowful note doth mar my tale—my keys, those loyal companions, are lost to the mists of IKEA's bedroom department. Should any noble soul stumble upon them 'midst pillows soft or bedframes stout, I pray thee, hand them to the nearest steward, and my gratitude eternal shall be thine. Thus, with cart full and purse light, I did depart IKEA, clutching my flat-packed spoils like trophies won in battle. O IKEA! Thou hast tested both my strength and wit, yet I leave thy hallowed halls richer in spirit and possession, though poorer in coin. Till next I return to thy wondrous realm, where Allen wrenches reign supreme!

Very good food and drink for exceptional prices. Be careful to watch out for IKEA Family discount prices which are often half the price.

It’s busy at the weekends but there’s so much space to sit, good affordable food, free wifi and plugs, and I’ve always found the staff friendly and helpful. Today the guy serving food said ‘boop’ every time he put a finished plate on the counter. Made me smile. I love you IKEA

After queueing for 40 mins,ordered fish and chips for other half.I was going to have salmon with salad bowl but was told abruptly, if it's not out we haven't got it. Why have it advertised on your overhead screens( which can be easily switched off). It's a shame that the cafe let down an otherwise pleasant shopping experience.

if you have a restaurent and a pic of the food the food should in some way resemble that we wanted the veggie balls and the pasta and sauce we got veggies balls only same money. so we said sorry why is it the same the server said that's how it comes. not to cause a seane becasue the customer is always wrong we said ok and never again. but the food is very sub power but the prices are good or you pay for what you get.

Top place. Fabulous value. It's enjoyable, but it's still basically a 70's cafeteria. You can't knock it.

There is a very limited menu here but the food is always hot and tastes good. Most portion sizes are a little small so if you have a larger appetite, you may come away a bit disappointed. They do vegetarian and vegan balls so cater for most people if that's what you like. You are expected to clear away your empty plates, so please follow that rule and clear up after yourselves.

Really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Didn’t have to queue too long, about 5 minutes. Not too much choice but plenty of meatballs and there was an interesting soup. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I liked the area near the tills with armchairs and sofas for you to relax in.

Covid regulations in place and restaurant extremely clean. Manager helping out and very friendly, food was amazing!

They have managed covid very well here, and I felt completely safe throughout my time here. Food is okay, as you would expect from IKEA.
