Iffy's Halal Takeaway in Stockton-on-Tees

I ordered a takeaway for my family and they missed the sauce but took the money for it realised when I got home so rang them staff member was really rude and arrogant on the phone. He said there was nothing he could do about it then expected me to drive all the way back from home 5 miles to pick it up so I said they can deliver since it was there fault and they have took payment for it to which I was told no and if I wanted it I would have to go back and get it. Their sauces have been so watered down they may as well serve water and their food has gone so downhill quality is so low but the prices are sky high defo not worth it! I will never be going back. Do yourself a favour save your money or spend it somewhere worth while.

Ordered a chicken tikka kebab from Iffys - can’t beat it! The chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked - the salad fresh and crisp - great place - staff spot on!

Went there on Christmas day. No concept of social distancing, wearing mask, or limiting number of people in the shop. Stood there for 5 minutes, but they were busy talking to some Asian folks in their own native language rather than providing a service. I just left and got something to eat from another takeaway. Very unprofessional folks who obviously don't care about customer services or following government guidance on restricting Covid spread! Completely avoidable!

I’m giving it five stars because their Donna meat is really nice.They also do curry’s and I they are delicious.But,the pizzas are better...

No one can beat there doner meat top class. I also tried parmo wich I will never buy again from them

I've given Iggy's only four stars out of five because they can often get things wrong or sauce when you don't want sauce and no sauce , when you've ordered it. However when it comes to the quality of the food they deserve at least five stars as it is always excellent. We usually just get the mixed kebabs served on naan breads , but we've tried a couple of parmos and they have been spot on too. I normally just order at the counter , but from now on I'm going to use just eat etc just to avoid any mix ups in ordering. They are always busy , because their food is the best. I keep meaning to give their curries a go , as they seem popular with the local Asian regulars .

Ventured to Stockton-on-Tees and found this gem! Extremely polite and prompt service with a smile! Cracking! Ordered x2 speciality large kebabs, which were devoured by the family! Kebab served with Naan - Nice Touch! Great food, great taste and will spread the word!

We ordered from here then phoned again and added a Margherita pizza. The order arrived and they missed it. Phoned them back and had an argument with us because no one took the order apparently..very strange. The donner meat did not smell right at all. Like it was very old. The food was absolutely disgusting and the service was shocking. Never ever again. Three sets of friends that will never return there.

The best donner kebab I have ever tasted. Succulant, spicy, just amazing and the next chilli and garlic sauce i have ever tasted. Get it with the naan bread for a taste sensation.

Went here for takeaway kebab, Staff pleasant, served quickly and price reasonable. Had lamb shish and donor. Donor meat nice, lamb bit overdone, think it was lamb tikka they would put in a curry. A little salad, chilli sauce was like a slightly spicy tomato gravy. Overall okay, filled a hole but wouldn't rush back.

Grabbed a late night snack. Mixed tikka with naan & chicken tikka with naan. Chicken was ok, lamb slightly too charred. Naan was nice though. But for a takeaway, though this was expensive overall - £15! Didn't think this was worth the money.

The donner kebab meat is probably the best I've ever tasted and the chilli sauce is simply delicious. The pizza's are cooked on the more traditional stove oven which I much prefer to the more modern conveyor belt style ovens used these days. However deliveries rarely make it within an hour and collection in store is almost longer than what other places deliver! There's never a call to say the delivery is running late and when calling to complain they're happy to argue and insult you. It's a shame the customer service is on the opposite scale to their food quality.

It's the first time iv used this takeaway it was recommend by a friend the food was really top quality staff very helpful defo go back again

Considering Stockton has thousands of takeaways without exaggeration, it's hard to find a decent one. Due to the freshness of the food, this place never let's us down. We've always ordered to collect and have never had a bad meal. Would highly recommend.

I visited this takeaway on the recommendation of a colleague, I looked on the website prior to ordering and it stated a chicken mixed kebab was £5.80 yet they stated on the telephone it was £7.50, the food arrived along with the rest of our order which missed out Mayo that had been requested, the portions were very small for supposedly large, I would not use this venue again, poor value for money and poor food in general.

Mi marido y yo pedimos una extra grande parmo (que generalmente comparten un completo pero estábamos extra con hambre) esta fue nuestra primera vez pidiendo desde aquí, así que decidimos extra grande! Se tardaron más de una hora, no era más grande que una grande y no estaba muy caliente. Disfruté de mi gusto, pero creo que hubiera sido mejor si estaba caliente y fresco. Si no toma mucho tiempo y si era más grande. Era precioso nuevo pedido para hacer que nuestras mentes sobre el lugar. Todo el mundo tiene un día
