Best sausage roll I’ve ever had, I will get a sausage roll every day from where ever I am working, including some bakeries which are charging 3 times as much but none of them come anywhere close to Idahs sausage rolls 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

during my first trip to bournemouth i decided to pop in for a coffee and a bit of breakfast. as soon as i walked in i could tell the atmosphere was off, ive never had to repeat my order so many times for a simple turnover and still have been given the wrong order. the turnover was lovely dont get me wrong but i said it at least four times before being given the right thing i understand it was early monday morning the young lass had probably been up all night with a few cheeky ones which i get we have all been there. maybe look into a new system so she does not get as confused or someone to assit her with orders.

Hacen un montón de diferentes rellenos, ensaladas, panes, tartas, pasteles. Es una gran luz de mi día yendo aquí. Un precio muy razonable también! Hoy me dieron un rollo, un dedo vianés fresco y una bebida para 4. 50. Por lo general me dan un pequeño rollo y es bastante grande!

Había caminado más allá de las muchas veces de Idah en mi camino hacia la ciudad de Bournemouth, pero nunca había estado allí, así que el otro día, mientras pasaba, vi los pasteles en la ventana y no pude resistirme. Mi compañero y yo terminamos con cinco cosas en total, un volumen de negocios de manzana, una rosquilla de chocolate y una torta sorpresa de chocolate, una tarta de crema y un bollo helado. Obviamente, no los comimos en absoluto y los guardamos para más tarde / al día siguiente, pero todos estaban deliciosos. El volumen de negocios de la manzana era enorme y un precio tan bueno, sabía delicioso. Todo sabía muy bien, especialmente el pastel de chocolate sorpresa y donut. No soy un gran fanático de los donuts, pero este donut era encantador, definitivamente obtendría uno nuevamente. ¡Puedo ver fácilmente que Idah se está convirtiendo en un lugar favorito para ir y no puedo esperar a volver otra vez!

I tried their new sourdough today, which was advertised on a board outside the shop. What a disappointment. Poor texture, solid, stale white bread. Hardly any sign of fermentation or aroma of real sourdough. This needs vast improvement or remove it from sale as it does nothing for your reputation. I would have returned it for a refund if I lived closer to the shop.

Regularly use this place. Smashing staff and good quality food.Much better value for money than the place a few doors down!

This is a place I go past many times a week and it always looks busy, I've intended stopping many times but there is never a parking space available however today I struck lucky. I had a sandwich that was made while I waited and it was hard to choose from the lovely selection available, I opted for brie and cranberry and was offered salad with it which was nice. I can honestly say it has to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had , lovely fresh baked bread and crammed full of filling, I will definitely be going back to try some more varieties, at 2.60 I thought it was good value, finished off with a wonderful pastry , very satisfying lunch

Lovely pies, savouries, sandwiches and so many cakes. Everything is tasty and fresh and such good value

Always go in here when I'm visiting my dad the bread, rolls , quiches , jam tarts, chocolate brownies are amazing this is not a fancy place but it's great and has been here for a long time they also serve rolls made to order and hot soup. The prices are really reasonable as well will be back next time I'm passing.

Great old fashioned good value bakery & takeaway at The Lansdowne area of Bournemouth that I have been to numerous times over the years. The friendly staff sell a variety of breads,pastries,hot & cold snacks together with filled rolls & sandwiches. The staff will happily make up a roll/sandwich of your filling choice. It is so popular with the people working/studying in the area that at busy times they very often have queues out of the door Idaha's has been here for years and I'm sure it will continue for many years.

This long established bakery sells cakes of many varieties, pies, sausage rolls, sausages wrapped in pastry. They sell bread. They also have a big counter fir making filled rolls and sandwiches. You can choose your fillings and salad additions and they will make them up for you. The prices are very reasonable and everything is very tasty.

Was going on a site visit, and as Idah's was (sort of) on the way back to the office, I took orders for the team and decided to stop in. Most of us used to work in Bournemouth, before being shipped over to Poole, so Idah's used to be a regular thing... now, not so much :( Arrived around 11, and the staff were in full swing, with lots of customers in and out, getting their lunches, pastries, and snacks. Ordered 3 danishes, cream cake, couple of tarts, a sausage roll, and a bag of cheese straws (which are amazing!) and still had change from a tenner - It cost just over £6 for enough to feed a team of 8. Even though I was a bit awkward with the order, the lady that served me was brilliant and it was no trouble at all. Can't beat them on quality (both food and service), and 12 freshly baked goodies for £6 is pretty darn good, IMHO! A side note about the donuts... I resisted the urge to get one yesterday, but they are the best donuts I've ever had... If you like to actually have a decent amount of jam in your jam donuts, you will love Idah's donuts! Think of the donuts you get in the supermarket... blob of fairly decent tasting dough, with a tiny pebble of jam, buried somewhere within... Idah's take the concept of the jam donut and turn it up to eleven! The donut itself is at least twice the size of a supermarket donut and tastes amazing. The void within, that holds the jam, is at least three times the size of a supermarket donut... And it is full! Seriously, eat an Idah's donut over a napkin and have the wet wipes on standby, cos there is soooo much jam in them! ... now I want a donut...

It's been years since I've been to Idah's and it used to be good but a lot has changed. They no longer do sandwiches and the selection was pretty poor. We ended up getting a couple of sausage rolls and 8 danish which did not taste fresh. Very disappointing. The sausage rolls were also nothing special. Will not be back.
