Icon Balcony Bar in City of London, Westminster

the staff at the balcony bar were lovely and very accommodating. Everyone worked over and above to provide 10/10 Service throughout the whole event. Definitely will be returning again soon.

Really enjoyed a quick cocktail before a show in this bar. Within a hotel so you need to look for the entrance through the hotel. Cocktails were a bit on the pricier side, however you are within a very good location. Right in the centre of London. Asked for them to create me a cocktail that was not on the menu and they happily obliged and it was really good. Thank you and will visit again when in the area

This bar is closed. However LSQ roof top bar is just around the corner good vibe good music,fantastic views

Well. That couldn't be a worse example of how to run a bar/club/casino if they tried. The door staff are severely under-trained and are rude and insulting without remorse. The best thing you can do is not waste your time and just go somewhere else.

My experience in the Idol Balcony Bar was really pleasant. It was a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy (this was about 10:30) so service was reasonable and there were places to sit. We enjoyed two cocktails each in a large chair and looked out over Leicester Square. Cocktails were really tasty. Decor was perfect - a bit classy, but not enough to be described as such (or to feel under-dressed!). Will go back again if I'm ever in the area again, cos it's a great choice for adults wanting a quieter drink.

Bar looked promising from the outside however the bouncers were incredibly rude and made inappropriate jokes and comments when asking for ID and searching bags and were dismissive when we asked why we couldn't take our water in. If it had been super fancy I'd have minded less but we were allowed in wearing jeans and trainers so not fancy at all. Inside the decor is nice but drinks are overpriced and were generic cocktails. We left immediately. Waste of time, don't bother.

Outdoor staff extremely rude. Made inappropriate comments to the women in our party. We just left.

Small balcony but if you do get a seat, offers great views over Leicester Square. Nice drinks but service a bit lethargic!

Good place to get a decent priced drink while watching the madness of Leicester Square. Place is kitted out to a high standard but the price of drinks is still within anyone's budget.

No beer on tap when we visited. A couple of bottled beers but none were very cold. It was a Friday night so would have expected better. The cocktails however were fab.

Very cool, good drinks, good service and an unbeatable view. Not a bad place to be stood up probably even better on a date.

Great location. Good view of Leicester square

2 for 1 cocktails here every day until 8pm. Love the kracken here and it's usually quiet and nice if you want to escape crowded pubs around the area and still want to have a drink. DJ plays here every friday post 9pm :)

Amazing customer services and really nice food

Superb meal my sons celebrated my 60th they even made me a special desert with a candle!

Great view over looking Leicester Square, with a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Staff are really friendly and polite. One of my favourite spots for either starting or finishing an evening/ night out around the Westend area.

A real gem of a cocktail bar, hidden in plain sight immediately above the crowds of Leicester Square below. You do have to get through the casino security below, so don't expect to be allowed in with any luggage. The bar is literally on the balcony of the old Empire Theatre, meaning some pretty spectacular architecture for your surroundings. Inside is a far more mellow atmosphere, except late on the weekends when live music keeps the mood lively.
