Ice Stone in Manchester

We visited with 3 hungry children after a visit to the Manchester museum. The place was spotless and the staff were very welcoming, let us sample some ice cream and made us a milkshake that wasn’t on the menu. We all had various waffles which were made really quickly and all were absolutely perfect. The flavours were delicious and everyone enjoyed their treat! I also had a latte which was lovely too. Don’t be put off by any bad reviews this place is fantastic!

Ordered food online, it arrived and the quality was poor. Looked barely anything to how the images on the menu portray the food and the quantity was lacking. Way too overpriced for the amount of food received when ordering online for delivery.

the milkshakes tasted like cardboard quite sadly however the service was lovely xxx just bland milkshakes 😖 and looked nothing like the photo advertised!!

I am actually feeling sick whiling typing this review because what I ate from this place has left me sick, it was horrible, horrible HORRIBLE!!

Ni siquiera vale la pena una estrella. Nunca he experimentado algo como esto en mi vida. Fui aquí para mi cumpleaños para llevar, nunca volveré. Vinimos de Birmingham cuando estábamos celebrando mi cumpleaños, entramos y ordenamos, hice una simple solicitud para tener una masa de galleta de chocolate blanco con una salsa diferente encima, fui a verificar si lo habían hecho correctamente, la señora tomando pedidos Lo revisé y lo corrigió por mí, el gerente que decía ser el dueño comenzó a hablar con la niña de una manera muy despreciativa y 'le dijo que lo hiciera ella misma'. solicitamos un reembolso ya que no estábamos contentos con el servicio y solo queríamos irnos, el gerente se negó y dijo que no ofrecen reembolsos, pero que no pudieron llevar a cabo la simple solicitud. Absolutamente espantoso servicio al cliente, vil. Muy decepcionado. No lo recomendaría en absoluto.

Delicious cookie dough, freshly cooked. Loved the ice cream (lots to choose from). Enough for 2 people. Decent cappuccino too 😊

After a so so meal, thought let's re visit this place which was excellent last time. Greeted with smiles. Ordered a mix. Sundae (choc roché), jam roly poly, waffle with strawberries and a vanilla scoop. Sat down and served very well. The taste was spot on. Will return.

Lovely atmosphere with music and friendly staff. Tried the peanut butter stack gateux and pancakes, more than enough to share between 3 people. Also accept student discount. Amazing (but very sweet) food! Will definitely visit again.

They make good waffle and their vanilla ice cream is to die for. Would not recommend the tray bakes and the cookie dough.

Amazing dessert glad we choose this place over a competitor near by! Cookie dough with ice cream and added Bueno pieces and my friend got the chocolate cake with ice cream!

I ordered a fruit salad which is advertised as seasonal fruit prepared in house! I ordered it for £3.79 and when it arrived it was a tin of fruit with 2 strawberries sliced at the top. Think it’s very disappointing and when I asked about it was told it was always tinned fruit.

This is a great dessert place. There is a a lot of different desserts to choose from. Highly recommended. Cookie & Cream ice cream is epic.

Excellent place, never visited up until April 2018 but was introduced by my partner and have been a frequent visitor since. The foods are really delicious and my favourite is the waffles. Only issue with the place is the back door which is always getting opened and left open by the staff as the lock is broke. The breeze is irritating when trying to eat and talk as you’re constantly putting your coat on/off. I would recommend to others to try though.

We made a special visit to this restaurant having eaten in the Corn Exchange - it's a long way out if the city- but well worth the bus journey out too . The menu was extensive- with cookies ( served warm in a skillet ) waffles , sundaes and pancakes. They have a large choice of ice cream flavours . The restaurant is bright and light- a lovely atmosphere and so not surprisingly quite busy . The desserts were scrumptious and excellent value for money . The speciality for the restaurant is the custom made ice cream made on a granite cold plate - again a great choice

Went for a gelato last minute decision. The seating area is limited and the service is average. Probably not come back unless other places were busy.

If you like sweet things and/or the colour pink, this place is for you. Large variety, very generous portion sizes, friendly staff - in a word, amazing.

I would highly recommend you don't eat a meal before attempting the cookie dough deserts! Totally delicious the strawberries help break up the sweetness. I really enjoyed my visit and would visit again. The service was great and the gelato was full of flavour.

Visited a couple of times with friends and always end up thinking it's overpriced for what you get. Portions are well sized with a good selection of desserts as well as ice creams. Not great for gluten free as ice creams are the only suitable...

Great for kids and adults alike, prices are average. The service is quick and staff are usually really friendly. Stays open quite late too. Waffles and chocolate cake are particularly good.

Generates custom due to lack of alternatives on this stretch. Desserts are pretty average but initiated review while I force myself to sip the worst ever mojito! Water, lime and what tastes like a dissolved polo...yuk!
