Great place to stay good rate and our room was ready in advance of check in. Also a late checkout of 12 if you are an Accor member

This is my second stay at the ibis Stlyes Leeds City Centre Arena hotel and both times have been perfect. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and staff are friendly. Check in available from 3 which is fine as there’s so many things to do nearby if you get into the city early, check out at 12 which is later than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at before. They offer discounted parking for the nearby CitiPark (just keep hold of your parking card and ask them to swipe it when checking out) Overall a great place to stay, especially if you’re attending an event at the arena.

£180 a night, no breakfast, you can't check in until 3 pm no safe in the room, and you can't leave your suitcase with the hotel. Lady at reception, we'll my mum told me not to say anything if I could not be nice. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Good hotel. Great location for First Direct Arena. Comfortable bed. Bathroom too small. Average breakfast in partner restaurant but decent value at £9.99. Orange juice a crime against humanity!

Very nice rooms, I would say it's a better standard than Premier Inn, nice areas in reception to sit and have a complimentary tea or coffee from the machine, the breakfast service was very well run and freshly cooked tasty food was a bonus! You need your room key card to operate the lifts from the ground floor, so don't forget it! The decor in the bedrooms was lovely, shower was easy to use, functional, practical and hot! I would definitely stay again in the same place without hesitation! It was also very quiet in the room at night but we were at the end of the corridor (room 317) so no passing public or internal doors banging, which was a blessing so we got a good sleep. Not sure how to adjust the room temperature as we like it freezing cold for sleeping, but it was set to 24°c and it couldn't be changed, even though I tried to adjust the settings menu, think it was just default. I will ask at reception next time 😉Also the windows didn't open, so no fresh air. You can order room service and food to your room at night, via the room phone and there is a great Indian adjoining the hotel on the ground floor also, which is used as the breakfast room in the morning. The staff were all very friendly and professional.

Very convenient place to stay for events at the Arena, and Leeds city centre as a whole. Stayed before and would happily return.

Great location - can't really comment on the service as it wasn't needed... but rooms were comfy, only draw back was being unable to open the window, even just a little!

I liked it. Good effort with room decor and styling. There was a couple arguing in the next room as we walked past in the corridor. Could not hear them in the room. Good soundproofing. Breakfast fine, although beans a bit vinegars. Car park in Merrion Centre discounted by 50% for day. Hardly for Central Leeds. Will stay again

I have stayed here twice before and I have to say the hotel has gone downhill. How can you have ridiculous early closing times for the bar with no room service. Staff seem keen to finish their shift early and don't bother to replenish the tea making facility in the bedroom. I won't be staying again.

Really nice hotel. Free coffee in reception. Hotel was very clean, very well presented. The room was a little small, but very well maintained, clean, modern. Massive TV on the wall, lovely clean bathroom and shower. Location is amazing, very near the arena for gigs, and has a pizza place next door. Parking is in multi story literally next door. Very handy, will happily stay again.

Once again the hotel location is just perfect for the First Direct Arena. Hotel has improved since last visit. Staff were on top of their game and were very helpful throughout our stay. Rooms have improved with cleanliness very noticeable. Happy to give an improved review and rating as things are now so much better.

Great place to stay in the heart of the city. There are a bunch restaurants around the hotel and a shopping mall for all conveniences. The rooms are spacious, modern, and nicely styled. The cost for a night is quite decent considering all the amenities around. Totally recommend!

Unfortunately we had the worst experience ever in hotels ! We arrived at 11:30 pm where we paid for 3 nights to find! They over booked the rooms and we have no place to stay ! I am coming from Dubai with my 18 years old son to settle him in in the neighboring students accommodation !! They staff was nice and apologize and tried to find another hotel and we thought it is a mistake but when another man with his daughter came in arriving from china and they had the same scenario we understood it is be policy in IBIS nowadays to overbook rooms hoping some guests will not come and they do more money !!!! Unfortunately we arrived mid of night to a new city after long flight to find no place for us !!! And after almost 3 hours waiting nothing happened from their side to find in another hotel !!!! we went to the student accommodation which not ready but better that being in street and we had to sleep on small sofas in the kitchen area with no cover and we got both me and my son sick for the whole week !!!!! I am writing this so someone else can make sure not having what we had ! The hotel and the room are not bad but this experience absolutely gave it less than one star if possible !!!!!

It's a little far from the station, but there's a shopping mall next door and a supermarket nearby, so if you don't mind walking, I thought it would be a reasonable option for sightseeing around town.

The Ibis Styles hotel located in Leeds city center offers spacious rooms that can accommodate a double bed as well as an additional bed for children. The room is equipped with a coffee machine for free coffee, and there is ample space for hanging clothes. The bathroom is also quite large. The lobby provides free coffee as well, and overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and the facilities are relatively new. The hotel is conveniently located, with a shopping mall and restaurants right downstairs. It's a 5-minute walk to the Leeds City Museum, and a 5-10 minute walk to the town center's large shopping malls, making it super convenient. During the summer holidays, the room rates are around £7x per night, which is reasonable. I would consider staying at an Ibis hotel again for my next trip.

This hotel has come up in my expectations The service was far superior to the last time I stayed which had been poor. Couldn't fault it this time, exceptionally clean and brilliant location for the First Direct Arena. The restaurant looked lovely but didn't dine as booked VIP tickets at Peter Kay show. Others said it was good. The breakfast was great plenty of choice.

Hotel is modern and rooms are reasonably comfortable although bed sheet too small for bed so keeps coming off. Not so keen on open storage with no doors on wardrobe. Good location with discounted parking in multistorey nearby. Breakfast OK but continental a bit limited compared to other hotels. Scrambled eggs watery and unappetising looked grey. Onsite restaurant was good. Picked hotel for location and easy parking. Not far to walk to shops, restaurants and near arena. .

Check in was factual. Booked a king room but got a double. Disappointment to say the least as needed the facilities the king room came with. Would stay again, but based on location not staff or the room Should have said the bed was comfortable.

Was made to check in exactly at 3pm which I thought was a bit odd - we were only 10 mins early! Then made to queue up with everyone else. Other than the disappointing customer service, the room was good value for what we paid. Clean bathroom and bedding with a super large TV on the wall. The only thing that let the comfort of the bed down was that I think it was 2 single beds pushed together so the middle of the bed was uncomfortable. Not good when you're trying to snuggle up with you partner! The location, for us, was perfect with shops and bars nearby. Would consider staying again.

I feel disappointed about the hotel's service attitude. My grandmother has a sleep disorder and I booked a family room for her, expecting her to have a separate bed, but there was only one bed in the room. The reception told me that the sofa bed is for children only, ok, I can accept that. So I asked the reception to provide me with an extra quilt so that my grandmother could sleep more comfortably, and the reception refused to provide it? ! The reason is that it is company policy not to provide extra quilts XD. It was only at our constant request that the manager appeared and told us the truth, refusing to provide us with quilts because he suspected we were secretly using the sofa bed! If we need an extra quilt, we need to provide our bank card information so that we can pay for damage to the sofa bed later. If the hotel treats the guest as a suspect, I suggest they close the door so the sofabed is always safe🥰

Very impressed with this budget hotel. Perfectly located near the arena with plenty of amenities nearby - restaurants, gyms, supermarkets. The rooms were decent sized and the beds ample for a one night stay. Clean and modern, I’d definitely stay here again. This please is dog friendly too which is a great bonus!

We stayed overnight as we were going to see Dirty Honey at the Stylus at Leeds University. We received a very warm welcome and we're soon checked in. All our queries, re breakfast, parking etc. Were answered with a smile. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was immaculate. Yes, most of this type of hotel the rooms are pretty generic. Our room had a Yorkshire dialect theme. The room itself was spacious. Not a lot of storage space, but it was more than adequate for an overnight stay. The bathroom had been diligently cleaned and was spotless. The gig was only a 10 minute walk so the hotel was ideally placed. I believe the First Direct Arena is even closer. Something we will look out for in future. We were advised to park in the Citipark car park on Merrion Way. We were told not to pre- book parking as we would then not receive the hotel discount. We parked from 15:00 to approx 11: am and we were charged £5. This was ideal as the car park is a very short walk around the corner. We found the bar closed at 23:00, we were just in time to get a drink. So be aware. We didn't book with breakfast included as we thought it quite expensive. As it turned out breakfast was on offer at £9.99 each. A very fine breakfast it was to. I'm unaware as to the length of the breakfast offer. There was total peace and quiet. Apart from the Chinese New year which was being well celebrated by the Chinese of Leeds, with fireworks just before midnight. Once they abated, silence returned and a good night sleep was had in a very comfy bed. All in all a very pleasant stay. Thank you Ibis staff.

I stayed here on the 30th Jan 24 and won't be staying again. Drug and booze brawls, fire alarms, fire service and Police! What more do you need while working away from home? There were a group of people running up and down the hallway banging on doors from approx 11pm until 2;30am before a resident decided he'd had enough. This lead to a brawl in the hallway, the fire alarm being set off and the hotel being evacuated for around 45 mins. We then had the police knocking on doors and taking witness statements for an hour. Once the police had left the remaining group of people that weren't arrested continued until about 5am before reception finally did something. Management took no responsibility, stating it was beyond their control... VERY poor service indeed.

Great pizza let down by awful service! Train your staff. We arrived at 8 for a booking and our table wasn’t ready. Asked to wait at the bar, no problem. Sat down at the bar. Bar man apologised for being busy and said he would be right with us. Just about to order and drink and got taken to our table. If you are going to get us to sit at the bar at least give us time to get given a drink! Waitress eventually came over to our table after another 5 minutes. We asked to order our food (as we had 10 minutes already to look at the menu) and she told us: ‘wait until your drinks arrive’. Drinks arrived and we were allowed to order. One item was sold out and I asked for the same pizza with a different topping. It was literally a case of ‘computer says no’! I couldn’t order it because it had been ‘taken off the menu’. Seriously just offer a substitute to one of the toppings. Food was excellent, but I’ve never known a waitress with worse timing. I think she managed to walk over and interrupt mid sentence every time she came over. Just pause for a couple of seconds to let people finish speaking. We were not rude and we were not going to ignore you. This sounds really ‘ranting’, so please look at my other reviews which are nearly always 5 star. I was very ‘polite’ and still left a tip, but seriously just offer some basic customer service training to your staff. Shame such good food was let down by the service.

Went for Xmas party, table was booked for 7.30 for around 40 people. Never even got seated and didn’t even get our food absolute **** show. If they can’t accommodate bookings of this size why take them. Avoid like the plague for large bookings
