If you value cleanliness and sleep this isn't the hotel for you. The mattress was more like a roll mat, like no springs, just fabric, which is bizarre as I've stayed here before and had an actual sprung mattress. There was hair- like it's been pulled out of a brush, on the floor. No bin in the room. Light fixtures were literally clinging onto the wall for their lives. The staff member on reception when I checked in was lovely! He gave me a fan, and always seemed happy. The other guy, not so much. Cheap drinks at bar was a bonus but only stayed for one as atmosphere wasn't great. It's cheap. Lesson learned.

The room is cold and the heater dosnt work just as well as the curtain is 4inchs above the electric heater that has a sign on it do not cover,the hot tap on the basin dosnt move or work so no hot water and only been here for 10 minutes using our own hairdrier to warm the room up.no heating in the bathroom, dont touch the coat hangers unless you have a first aid kit as they have the rail part missing and stab your hand ,its such a let down.next visit im booking the White Hart Hotel in Lincoln its beautiful and everything works.

Very spacious rooms, it’s not to far from town, can get an uber from there to town for roughly £10, quiet, good price for rooms

4 night stay over the new year period, staff really helpful and friendly, breakfast selection excellent and other meals available. Would stay again, good road links to other areas to explore.

Staying here over Christmas and the staff are fabulous, so kind and attentive, bed and pillows are very comfy and bedlinen excellent. Sadly. there is a foul smell coming up from the drains via the bathroom sink. We have already been offered 1 change of room, which we have taken, to a higher floor. However, there is still a foul smell (not quite so bad) in our new room and it would put me off returning. (As no-one else has mentioned it, I can only presume it is a temporary issue due perhaps to lower number of guests at this time? I would want reassurance problem is resolved before returning.) Otherwise, all else is good.

We book a room with the kids. After my child goes out to pick up my phone from the car they will not let him back in. It was freezing late evening. I was speaking with my mate and thinking about my child already in our room. But when I came back i didn't find out about him,so I went outside. My lad is only in light clothes and argues with staff outside. Nobody cares what boy knows room number or can give my number,but cant ring me because my phone is with him! Staff swearing and rude. It's a very upsetting situation. Hotels have only 2 stars but how you gonna get more if your staff are not helpful at all and act antisocial? Very unprofessional

Standard size hotel room with ample space. Although heating system slightly dated, the room which contained a TV has ample room and a small kettle. The bathroom was a good size with clean, showers and WC. Breakfast was from 6.30am to 10am which I used once, as a quick snack there was ample selection to get you going for the start of the day.

well..... Not the cleanest of places we have stayed in. Stains on wall, bathroom tiles cracked and sharp to walk on. Bathroom door didn't stay closed, bedside light hanging off the wall and didn't work, heating system very outdated, heavy doors on rooms, doors slamming from 6am..... Couldn't be moved to another room as they were full and was told there was no one to come and clean the stains off the wall... Not a great experience... For £84 per night not great value either

The room was cheap so I wasn't expecting bells & whistles but I did expect it to be clean. The bedding had holes in the carpet was sticky and the walls were sticky too. I felt that despite the cheap price I drastically overpaid

Clean rooms, nice breakfast although bit expensive at £12

Disagreeable stay. Unfriendly reception staff. Bedroom on 3rd floor was old and tired with an exposed light fitting in the shower. TV just propped up, it's stand broken. Our family in another room on the 1st floor said room not clean and bed lumpy. Can not recommend.

Lovely polite staff great food selection.i particularly enjoyed the sausages. Cannot fault the place. Definately staying there again.

Small room very stuffy, unable to sleep bed not very comfortable

Stayed 2 nights. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff, good breakfast choice for £10. Free WiFi. Communinal areas are nice and well kept. Free hot drinks machine in reception area. However the rooms are really dated and look unchanged since the day it was built. Bits broken and overdue replacement. Shower could have been better performance wise. Window handles loose. However the rooms where clean enough and beds comfier than they looked. I would recommend this hotel if traveling for work and needing best budget. Overall 6/10.

The hotel's glory days are behind it. Breakfast is a plus. A major renovation would be needed

Rubbish hotel . A good 15 minute taxi ride from Lincoln Town. Need to state where there located. Avoid

Fabulously dog friendly, helpful staff. Room large for the price. Really enjoyed my stay.

Walk down the corridor from the guy on reception and look at the stains on the carpet, look at the damaged walls, the trim protectors on the wall corners missing. Open the door and go up the stairs, corner trim missing off of the step. Not a great impression.

Room had a window that would not shut, broken lamp, broken bed side table, rusty sink, shower did not get hot and there was a constant smell of cannabis, never again. The only good thing about this place was the lovely staff

Stayed two nights and found staff to be very friendly and Considerate. Room was basic, bed comfortable though, couldn’t get a thinner Pillow when asked but they tried . The shower was very good and pressure okay hot water took a while to come through in sink hot tap. Breakfast was a good standard with good sausage and Bacon nice Baked beans, coffee from machine was excellent! Location wasn’t great which was my fault in booking wrong area of Lincoln. Probably wouldn’t stay here again as I don’t drive but staff We’re warm and friendly.
