Authentic Spanish restaurant in London with very good dishes. It’s the go to Spanish cuisine restaurant in London. Meat quality and starters are fab.

Fuimos al restaurante a probar algo nuevo y la elegimos como uno de los únicos restaurantes de tapas de la zona. Inicialmente la decoración estaba bien. Esperamos bastante tiempo para ser servidos cuando nos pidieron nuestra orden nos dijeron la mitad de lo que queríamos no estaba disponible, así que tuve que pedir unos minutos para volver a elegir. después de tener que convocar a la camarera de nuevo sobre la comida fue sacado bastante rápido, un plato a la vez que pronto se enfrió rápidamente. La comida estaba bien, pero más lo que tenían en lugar de lo que queríamos y no estaba convencido de que todo estaba cocinado completamente, ya que han tenido un mal estómago desde que se fue, especialmente porque realmente no se podía usar el inodoro, ya que había en un estado repugnante y parecía como si eso no se había limpiado durante semanas. Cuando nos quitaron los platos nos preguntaron si queríamos postre y como recién habíamos terminado las tapas nos pidieron unos minutos para decidirnos y luego nos presentaron la factura inmediatamente y así nos sentimos apresurados a irnos. Tenía ganas de probar algo nuevo y se fue muy decepcionado y sintiéndose mal.

Tenía grandes expectativas para este restaurante, después de haber mirado el menú de antemano. Desafortunadamente, toda la experiencia fue muy decepcionante. Mi amigo y yo pedimos cinco platos, tres llegaron. El cuarto llegó 20 minutos después y el plato final nunca apareció así que tuvimos que reordenar. La comida estaba bien, pero no la relación calidad-precio. La experiencia general fue mala.

El ambiente es bueno, pero falta la comida. La comida no es nada especial, se ven como ordinario y poco inspirador. Por el precio que estás pagando, esperarías opciones más emocionantes y sabrosas. Pero puedo decir que la camarera y los camareros eran educados y amables.

Comimos delicioso a la hora del almuerzo. El servicio fue bueno y atento. Pedimos varios platos de tapas para compartir y, como suele hacer el tapeo, salieron como estaban listos. Las croquetas y las hamburguesas ibéricas eran particularmente sabrosas. La decoración es muy genial y me encantaría volver.

I used to be a frequent customer before moving out of the UK 1.5 years ago. Today I came back and I must say I was deeply disappointed with pretty much everything: 1. Food - way different and significant reduced quality. The solomillo was very low quality 2. Menu- reduced, more expensive 3. Bread - used to be a very good quality bread, now it’s a plain white bread (like long lasting waitroes version) 4. Service - people speaking very poor English with zero understanding of the menu. Asked a waiter to change my cutlery after eating shrimp (before eating meat) and he was looking at me surprised and not understanding at all Spoke with the floor manger who works with the chain for 4 years and did recognized the change… In summary, I am honestly disappointed to see how things have changed and to see how overall quality was drastically decreased!

Delicious food with great Tapas options and excellent wine. I really recommend the chorizo lollipops and cantarbrian anchovies.

They didn’t have the table when we arrived although we booked it. Nobody was at the reception, you must go and get someone in the restaurant to seat you. They pay you zero attention as you stand there. Have been there before and that’s a classic situation.

Food portion was quite small and did not feel authentic

Really excited to dine here but no menu when we were seated we had to ask for it. We ordered all the traditional sangria jug (it was very heavy red wine loaded and not refreshing and typically traditional), seafood paella, first I have to say the tables were so close together we had to whisper and they could not put the side piece to place the paella pan next to our table as there was no space, prawns are nice but small amount of rice/paella overall especially for the price we were still hungry, we had the omelette, croquettes and squid too and they are nice but for the price, not fresh/good enough. Serving staff was very ‘average’ no knowledge of the menu items/ingredients when asked and with dirty aprons. Didn’t feel like service was a ‘priority’ so sadly I dont think I’ll be trying it again for a while and will give another place a go! Hope this helps, viva espania!

We had a wonderful meal. My husband and I had been previously for an anniversary and had decided on our trip to London this time we’d take our son as we know how much he enjoys seafood. We pre-ordered the paella - which was incredible! We shared this between 3 of us - I don’t remember it being as much or as good as it was the first time we had it but we still demolished the whole lot. I would say the portion did work for 2x adults and 6 year old - who had a decent portion! What I loved this time was how good the waiter was with our son. I sometimes worry when we take our son to “nicer” restaurants that he’ll be out of place or unwelcome - which we obviously wouldn’t bother to do if he wasn’t a major foodie and super well-behaved - however he was treated like a VIP. We loved our experience and the food.

I came here with high hopes. I sat down and ordered some wine to start my meal. Waitress didn’t know it the wine was dry or sweet. Came back with a bottle and asked if this was what I ordered. Then attempted to pour in a very dirty glass. Once he found a clean glass, he rested the bottle on the glass and poured what was left in the bottle. He then located another bottle and again rested the bottle on the glass while pouring. On a positive note, grilled octopus and chorizo were good. Not sure if I would recommend at this point. Might have to try another day maybe with a different waiter.

To top off what was a great day we ended up at Iberica Spanish Restaurant. Seriously I'm in heaven. It was a foodie's dream. My taste buds are still dancing. We started with Iberico Jamon (like meat butter) I could have eaten a kilo (if I could afford it). Then we had Chorizo lollipops, Potatas Bravas, Beef cheek croissant, and Jamon croquetas and of course Sangria. I could die tonight completely satisfied. The staff were great. It was mucho delicioso. It was also great to practice my Spanish with the Chef and owner.

Yeah I guess this is okay for the finance bros of CW, but this is not that authentic and the service is rubbish.

Awful. Not much more to say sadly. Avoid.

Food was excellent however our overall experience was let down by service. Our table was in a thoroughfare so kept on being knocked into and we had to ask to move. It took about 10 minutes to bring menus. Wine took a very long time to sort out. Wrong starters brought to the table and dirty cutlery dropped into laps as the table was cleared.

The seafood is not fresh. I and my friend ordered a black rice, the portion is really small, with only one thin layer of rice in the pan. Don’t come to this restaurant.

Whilst overall the food we ate was tasty, the portions were small (yes I know it’s Tapas) & overpriced… the decor & ambience were good & the staff, whilst friendly & helpful, tried they’re best but, to be honest, aside from one guy, they lacked experience & they’re lack of experience contributed to a somewhat frustrating meal at times.. asking for bread to mop up some lovely sauces, it never arrived.. deserts being delivered with no spoons then having to ask twice for the cutlery! That’s without a long wait for our drinks to be delivered etc… as I said this isn’t a cheap meal so when we’re paying the prices they charge we expect more! Unfortunately though we’re glad we tried it, we won’t return.

Dined here in late May, great ambiance on arrival but the service failed to live up to expectations, items on the menu were not available (including patatas bravas for goodness sake) and the inexperienced staff didn’t know what was and wasn’t available when we placed the orders, returning several minutes later to tell us. Service was very slow although the restaurant was by no means full. I paid the service charge at the end (a mistake, in hindsight) but told the waitress our experience didn’t meet expectations. A chap who I presume was the manager came to speak to us, very apologetic, said it was a bad night, and took our email address promising a free meal as recompense. Surprise surprise, nothing heard from him since. Dissatisfaction compounded. Not recommended.

Normally Iberica's are great, including food service and environment. This visit to Canary Wharf branch was a disappointment. Short staffed and stretched. Food was extra slow, wrong wine delivered and cold chicken had to be sent back. Had to go to the bar to pay. Not up to Victoria branch standards.

Fantastic food. Recommend the Gran Claustro Cava, it was delicious.

Clearly short staffed, service was quite poor, slow and wrong wine provided. Chicken dish was cold and had to be sent back. Generally disappointing.

Very well received even without reservation for 4 people. Warm and typical Spanish atmosphere. Very good tapas, there is something for everyone and it's good. Also quality service and smiling and pleasant staff. All the ingredients for a good time. We can only regret the high price of the bill.

We arrived at the door and were greeted by the gentleman cutting the cured ham (jamón). After we waited for few minutes, none of the staff members realised we were there waiting for a table. At the end we ask the Jamón guy to call someone and he did. We were given a table upstairs, only for us. Staff not very friendly nothing to be wowed by. The food? Yes the food is good and tasty, but they could raise or motivate their team members better!! Seafood Paella, there is only prawns and chopped Calamari, would call it SEAFOOD really. And some borders of the pan there were no rice.. not too big portion for 40£! But tasty yes.

We enjoyed a recent tapas lunch at Iberica. We loved the three different tapas we each ordered to share, plus the olives. For the price, we would have liked more bread and olive oil. We'll return to try more of the menu items.

It was ok. The mains turned up so quickly, you have to question if they were pre-cooked. The starter of bread etc didn’t arrive at all - maybe because the mains were so quick. I don’t mind paying high prices, but you expect it to be special - this wasn’t. £160 for 2 adults & a 10yo. There was a cool buzz to the place, can’t fault the atmosphere. Not terrible, but not excellent either.

We came at a quiet time but the atmosphere was still lovely, decorated really nicely. The service is really great and everyone was very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious - definitely recommend the patatas bravas. We will be back!

We booked a table on OpenTable for a bank holiday Friday afternoon. We arrived but our booking wasn’t showing. The server was at great pains to “fit us in” despite us literally being the only people in there. The service was slow and erratic, the food rather insipid for Spanish and not all hot. Considering we were one of two tables in there, I’d hate to think what happens when they’re busy. Overpriced for such average food. Must try harder!

First time hear and what a place. The food and wine was out of this world!

My husband and I visited this lovely place for lunch. The staff are so very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wines. We err greater with a smile and treated like royalty. The food was so very tasty and the wine was gorgeous. We can’t wait to visit again.

Came for a dinner before heading to The 02. We were greeted and showed to our table, great that they have a lift for wheelchair access! Service was nice but a little inattentive, it was quite slow. Our drinks got delivered to another table and so did one of our food dishes, very disappointing. The food was lovely. The tomato bread was fresh and crispy, the Iberia Sobrasado was our favourite and was smoky but sweet, the secreto Iberica (pork steak) was great and tender. The Croquettes were tasty but could have been crisper on the outside. The Patatas bravas were very spicy and didn’t have much aioli and the mushrooms were in a wierd bitter, liquorice tasting sauce. Overall, it was quite expensive and although the food was nice. It was an underwhelming experience.

Fantastische tapas in een levendige omgeving

The best tapas away from Spain so far. The atmosphere, greeting and the service was wonderful🤩 tapas were great 😊 so we order to share and order a variety. Patatas Bravas were great. Chipirones and the sauce was also delicious! We backed two tapas up with croquetas and empanadas. The only thing that can be better was some more salt flakes on pimientos and bigger croquetas but is not a deal breaker! After tapas it was time for churros 🧁 they were served freshly fried! My partner went a step further to claim that they are better than some of the churros you can get in Spain! They were out of tortillas but we will definitely be back for it 😝

I visited to explore their latest menu, and it's undoubtedly the finest Spanish restaurant I've experienced. From the croquetas, secreto, and cheese to various other delights, every dish is authentic and incredibly flavorful. Chorizo lollipops and croquetas were to die for! The gambas were mediocre, sauce was great but the prawns themselves lacked flavour and were quite small.

We live in the US and enjoy visiting London. This was our third dinner at Iberica and they have all been wonderful. The ambience is so authentic whether dining upstairs or down. The service is attentive in just the right way and the Tapas are outstanding. Don’t miss the beef meatballs or the vermouth mussels.

We had an absolutely horrible experience last week. The main flaw is the service, or absence of it. First of all, the waitress ignored us and didn't bring the menu for 15 mins, only after my request she did it. Interesting thing, she was bringing a menu to other guests, who came later than we. Second thing, we came to eat paella. But she misheard it and after 1 hour of sitting and asking where it was, we found out that she didn't even make an order. No real apology, just an option to wait 45 more minutes. Of course we refused, because it's absolutely insane. We didn't get any compliment (in such places it usually happens, but not in Ibérica), but we were charged for "service" 12.5%, which was awful, paid 90 pounds for tiny portions of tapas and left hungry. I highly don't recommend this place.

Very good Spanish restaurant in Cabot Square not far from Canary Wharf Underground Station. We had a great lunch there including lamb sweetbreads (almost unheard of in a restaurant in England!), hake tempura, pulpo and fried calamares. There is also an excellent wine list. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

'We had a great evening at Ibérica for my friend’s birthday. The staff were incredible! so attentive, warm and friendly. We really appreciated the glass of cava to celebrate the birthday - a lovely surprise. They helped us chose a delicious wine. And the tapas we had were good Great buzzy atmosphere too.

I endured a dinner at Iberica restaurant with a group of 13, despite booking well in advance. We opted for the most expensive group menu, expecting adequate portions. However, what we received was laughably small. The dishes were extremely inadequate and did not correspond to the high price we paid. We left the restaurant starving. It was a thoroughly disappointing experience that I would never want to repeat, especially considering the cost.

Cena con colleghi di lavoro. Prenotato in precedenza. Locale in un posizione molto carina e con elementi di arredo tipici: le grandi stampe dei manifesti sono veramente belle. Cibo buono ma con porzioni imbarazzanti nella loro pochezza. Servizio particolarmente interessato al refill delle bevande e attento alla disposizione strategica dei piatti comuni. Niente tovaglie o tovagliette sul tavolo. Servizio estremamente lento. Imbarazzante la conclusione con la crema catalana servita in una ciotola per 2-3 persone. Prezzo ampiamente non in linea con quanto sperimentato.

An absurd experience. By booking for a group of 13 people they force you to choose the menu in advance, from 4 proposals made by them. The problem is that the quantities are truly ridiculous! A £40 menu (drinks not included: totale 64£ a persona). The cheese selection for 4 people (5 for us, because 13 is not a multiple of 4) contains a cube of gorgonzola, 2 small wedges of another cheese, and 3 very small (particle-like) pieces of another cheese, so you have to play dice to decide who eats what. 7 bowls of pudding: and should two of us eat with a spoon in the same bowl??? A plate for every 4 people (always one for 5 in one case, because there were 13 of us) with a slice of meat no more than 100 grams cut into pieces, and a portion of potatoes for one person. We entered at 7.20pm and the last dish arrived at 9.40pm. Everyone was left hungry and annoyed. I see that the management responds to all the reviews by thanking and promising to improve: perhaps it's time to start doing so!

Apparently the kitchen was having a bad evening... Slow, slow slow. Server was lovely and apologetic. Manager threw in some extras but one tapas at a time with 10 mins between. The food was okay but not the best Spanish food I've had in London by a long way. We had actually booked, it's not like we were a walk in, we went out of our way to come here. Just disappointed.

Lovely decor however the food was mediocre and portion was extremely small for the price! Very disappointed with the suckling pig as it felt like boiled pork with a few lettuce leaves on the side. Bill was just over £50 per person and we were left hungry and ended up getting a second dinner at the food truck nearby!

The service is impeccable, friendly, professional and always accommodating special requests.

This was our first visit to Iberica, and certainly won't be the last. From the warm welcome, to the cozy surroundings, to the fabulous food and drink... everything was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel valued. Highly recommended!!

We were vacationing in London and stumbled upon this delicious restaurant. We love Spanish Tapas and so enjoyed this! The Iberica ham was scrumptious as was everything we tried! If we come back to London, we will dine here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience 🤗

We love Iberica Canary Wharf, it's our go-to restaurant when we fancy a nice dinner out. The food is always delicious and never disappoints. Nacho and the staff at Iberica were excellent. They accommodated my family without a booking and were very pleasant and interactive with my two year old son, which set the tone for a great dinner. Food and service were exceptional.

Great tapaz place with good selections of wines. I always love the crowded atmosphere. We had a party of 6 with variety of tapaz and a bottle of Rioja, all recommended by Katya.

We had a wonderful meal Maria looked after us so well and Nacho went above and beyond to ensure we had a fab time. The Sherries were sublime and the tapas was delicious.

We used to love Iberica however we were disappointed after our last visit. The two most popular dishes - paella and black rice - were unavailable. The mushrooms came out undercooked. Our wine choices were also not available. I feel the restaurant has become very overpriced and not the tasty fine dining I used to experience. Waiters were friendly.

As a former Londoner, coming back to this restaurant was such a delight.I came for lunch with three friends of mine.Great selection of food, high quality, a special mention to the octopus and chorizo lollipops.Big selection of wines. The service is top notch here but a special mention to Katie, her service was exceptional demonstrating attentiveness and a friendly demeanor throughout.

Santiago was a great server, amazing food and service

Having read some variable reviews, I was a bit worried about what we would experience. I need not have been, as we had an amazing time. Food was excellent (we had tapas only - the octopus, hake, sweetbread and cured meats were particularly good) and the service was lovely - quick, attentive, knowledgable and friendly. There were 6 of us. We ate till we were full to bursting and had plenty of wine to drink plus dessert, and it came to £64/head including service. Pretty good value, particularly given the quality of the food and the overall experience.

Lovely venue and good atmosphere, but we were very disappointed by the food. The pardon peppers were the saddest version of this dish I’ve ever come across (not salted, funky oil taste). Dishes were small and didn’t have the quality I would have expected for the associated price.
