Had dinner with colleagues after a long day. Great location, fantastic service (Priscilla), and the whole crew. Food selection was excellent, with high quality ingredients. One of the best tapas restaurants in London. Will be back. Bravo Team 👍🏻

Went there for need year's eve and was not happy with either the service or the value for money of the food I received. Maybe it was because we didn't have a reservation, whatever it was, I wasn't impressed so I won't go again.. however, the place seems to have good reviews and some waiters were nice. Manager seemed slightly arrogant but I am not 100% sure if yesterday was a one of thing or it always happens. Unlike all my 100s of other reviews, this one I'm giving benefit of doubt.. Only thing I am sure about is that the waiter didn't bring my food correctly and forgot that I ordered yellowfin tuna .. when I ordered again I think I got sea bass and not even the correct order 🙃 none the less, presentation was lovely.

Comfortable spot with pretty good Spanish food

The food was very mediocre - nothing was bad but wouldn’t recommend the place. The short ribs were the exception and was really nice. The restaurant itself was cute and pleasant. We were seated at a table right by the kitchen counter and could feel a draft from somewhere - asked to be moved to a booth but was told it’s reserved (although no one sat on that table until we left).

A great little find, tucked away at the docks. We only went for drinks, but the food looked great. Good service and a cosy kind of vibe. We'll definitely go back for food!

I was on a visit to London from USA and decided to go for dinner at Bravas Tapas after reading all the reviews. Since I was alone and no reservations, host put me on a table at the entrance. It was a chilling evening so I requested to sit a bit inside and away from the door. The host indicated that all the tables were reserved which turned about to be not true. The service was slow and sluggish since with a solo customer not money was going to be made. Left after having one tapa and a drink. Felt not welcome.

I've been lucky to have visited Bravas Tapas on a number of occasions but, it had been a while since my last visit (give or take 6 years). But, seeing as I was in the area yesterday I decided to pop along for some lunch with friends and it was just as amazing as I remember. The big difference on this occasion was I learned their Lamb is halal and just as well because it was scrumptious. My absolute favourites from every visit: - the Salmon Roulada - hands down the best thing on their menu - Spinach Croquettes - THAT GRILLED OCTOPUS!! - and of course their Bravos Potatoes. A great gem in London's crown and a truly exceptional lunch spot in St. Katherine Docks.

When we arrived at the restaurant the gentleman who greeted us seemed very put out and unfriendly and made us feel like an inconvenience when we asked to be seated at a different table away from the door. There were plenty of empty tables in nicer parts of the restaurant. Although the food was good and the waiters polite there was not a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant which would deter us from making a return visit or recommending the restaurant.

Very average food and service. No ambience. Menus had food stains on them. Manager was brusque and verging on rude. Disappointing. Not recommended.

This gave the impression that our needs as customers were an inconvenience. Basic requests, such as for cutlery, went unfulfilled, and there were issues with our order—a sea bass dish that was apparently overlooked. Beyond delivering the food, there was little to no support or engagement from the staff. The contrast between the excellent food and beautiful setting and the inadequate service was striking. If the restaurant could address these service shortcomings, it would have the potential to offer a much better overall experience. Until then, it’s hard to fully recommend despite the delicious food.

I liked it, outside eating was very nice in the summer time.

Were warmly greeted by owner. Asked for wine recommendations and he let us try a couple first. Very generous. Tried several menu items and all were superb! Such a warm and cozy atmosphere. I never return to the same restaurant when visiting London as I love to try new ones but I honestly will go back here. Highly recommend.

Sitting on St Katherine’s Wharf just behind the Tower Hotel. The menu doesn’t change. Let the host tell you what you want .

This was a surprising hidden gem on the trip. We stayed at the Tower Hotel and stumbled across this gem on our many walks. The owner was delightful and the staff was on point. The menu was SO good! I highly recommend the salmon with sweet potato, the potato bravas, the oysters were incredible.. ok - just eat it all. SO GOOD! I might have to cross the pond again just to come see these guys. Thank you for your hospitality and the delicious food and wine. <3

The boss stares at our table throughout the meal and in a bad way the service is terrible except for Christian, who is good, there was no one to come in or anything and they rushed us all the time at 8 o'clock, the food is good but too expensive and in the bathroom there was a dead cockroach, they charged us a €20 tip, it was horrible, I don't recommend it at all

I been celebrating my birthday there last night with my friends. The team was super accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was super busy, but we didn’t need to wait for anything, and they always came to check if we need anything. The food was phenomenal! Gambas and pork belly was my favourite, but the rest as well was outstanding. Highly recommending it to anyone for any occasion.

We have dined here many times and the food, as ever, was excellent. However, this was a very busy Saturday night, with a couple of large parties and I think, because we were in a corner, this affected the service a little. There was no problem with the food service, but it was quite difficult to catch anyone’s eye if we wanted anything else. I think next time, we’d just try to avoid a Saturday.

We were a group of 5 and we ordered a few tapas between us and it was all amazing and extremely tasty. I would super recommend this restaurant. The staff was amazing too.

Tuvimos una deliciosa comida en Bravas Tapas. El restaurante tiene un ambiente muy agradable, frío e informal. El servicio era excelente y atento, pero no demasiado. La comida estaba deliciosa. Rally sabroso y tierno pulpo. Todos los platos que teníamos eran brillantes, realmente nada que fallar. La carta de vinos también era genial con algunos vinos de calidad fantástica.

Great tasting tapas with nice wine and good staff.

The best Tapas restaurant I've ever been in London. The Patatas Bravas the Octupus the Prawns aux Garlic. Everything was fabulous. And the deserts wow. 5 stars

Best Tapas ever had in London! Only compared to the real deal in Spain. Good portions and great presentation. We had the octopus, the shrimps in olive oil, the lamb chops and “patatas bravas”. Desert was delicious (brioche pudding and Tarte de Santiago). Staff was lovely and friendly. Compliments to the Chef!

This is the best Tapas restaurant I've found in London. I've been at a few before and they don't even get close. It was like being eating tapas in Spain. One of the best Patatas Bravas I've had only had a bit better once in Salamanca. The deserts were fabulous. Cumpliments to the chef. Cinco Estrellas

Our family party of 3 had a fantastic experience at Bravas. We had an early reservation (5pm) so the restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but by 6pm the place was heaving and had a great atmosphere. The location right on the dock is very picturesque. We ordered an assortment of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The yellowfin is a small serving but packs an almighty flavour punch! The belly pork was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend giving Bravas a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Our order was taken quickly and we didn't wait long for food to start arriving. Food was mostly pretty tasty and appealing. Unfortunately service after the food was delivered was very slow. No one checked on our table for ages. We then asked for the menu again (to order dessert) and water. These were completely forgotten until we had to get the attention of another server who then brought the menus but forgot about the water...another long wait until we could flag him down again...the restaurant was fairly busy but may be needed more servers?

Another great meal last night, consistently delicious food, well presented, and a wide selection that you can mix it up if you’re a regular. Also a great wine list, and the service is also consistently top notch. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, we were a party of 4 and shared 10 savoury dishes. They were all delicious as were the individual desserts. Will definitely return and will ask for all hot food to be served at the same time as the potatoes were cold before the mains arrived. Otherwise fabulous meal in a lovely location.

Food is ok, at par with other tapas places. Nothing impressive nor wrong. They grill things on spot, which gives a good flavor on their meat and seafood dishes. However, portion is on the small side. They did not serve bread beforehand. And you can see the ingredients are not the top notch(gambas are just small shrimps) The place is quite crowded. The staff and other customers kept hitting my chair. Sitting was not very comfortable. 37pp without drinking is making it difficult for me to come back again.

We went as a small group for my birthday and really enjoyed the food. There were some delicious dishes, especially the pork belly, lamb chops and octopus; although everything was good. The service was a bit hit and miss, sometimes struggling to get someone's attention even though the restaurant was quiet and there were staff standing around not serving. That wouldn't put me off going back, though.

Tapas restaurant on St Katherine’s Dock. We were at NFL game and had booked for 7:30but were held up on train back. Restaurant closed Sunday at 9 but stayed open to feed us. Food was good although rushed. Service also good. Thanks to the staff.

Service was shocking at first, we had to get up to ask someone to come over twice to take drinks after being there for 20minutes. Food was good but staff need to be on their game.

Very nice atmosphere, good food with reasonable price

Creative Tapas Cuisine in the St Katharine’s Dock area near the Tower Bridge. Everything we ordered was excellent. Very noisy. A quirk: the only utensil offered is a pair of tweezer-like tongs. If you want a fork you have to ask. Not much in the dessert department.

Food was lovely, amazing tapas! My personal fav was the prawns and I love how the restaurant is situated at the Saint Katherine Docks! Would love to sit outdoors some day to soak in the beautiful view.

We have eaten here multiple times and it delivers everytime. The staff, the food and the price ticks all the right boxes. See you all again soon.

Lambchops, salmon and brioche dessert were stand out stars. Great views of St Katherine's dock. And they stock a nice dark beer in addition to the usual sangria.

This felt like brandy melvlile customer service. I walked to the door with a group of people and there was a man standing there. I did not know that he worked there as he did not greet us. As i’m crossing the threshold of the door he then finally acknowledges me and says “can i help you”. He sat us fairly quickly, however he tells us we only have 1 hour to eat. The waiter was also rude and didn’t care whether we lived or died. The food was too salty and the menu is not food allergen friendly. Would never come back to this place. Felt unwanted for just wanting to eat. The atmosphere was great but that’s all.

First time visiting Bravas Tapas but certainly won’t be the last. The food was outstanding, everything was freshly cooked and hot. Cocktails were lovely and so was the draught beers. Staff were great and friendly. Very good value for two! Lovely location as well!

Food, location and service was very high quality.

The food was amazing. All of it. I will def me going back to try more plates.

We went for lunch and although the food was delicious,they tried to charge us for a dish that we ordered but never got! Fortunately they took it off the bill! The service left a lot to be desired as the waiters were more interested in attending to a large party at the other end of the restaurant. This left me feeling rather uncomfortable to be honest.

Great food and service, background music could do with improving though!

I love this restaurant. The food is second to none. Really well presented and the taste is amazing. However, please sort the music out. Yesterday lunchtime the music was very loud and not at all in keeping with the Spanish vibe of the restaurant. This would have been a 5 star review if it wasn't for the music.

Lovely atmospheric place on St Katherine’s Dock which is a relatively quiet little oasis right next to a tower bridge. So- I like this place and definitely would recommend it. But for those who like to know every detail, let me give you the slightly less than perfect bits first. The reason I’ve given 4 rather than 5 stars. But none of these things were major. I was a solo walk-up, because their online booking system doesn’t take a booking on the day. It was great they could accommodate, but I was told where to sit, didn’t get any choice of table at all even though the place was less than half full, and really I would have preferred an outside table, which I guess they were saving for groups to make the place look more full. Having said that, any seat in this place is good. But maybe please offer people, especially solo travellers who don’t want to stare right at the bar all night when there’s a view outside, a choice where to sit. They temporarily forgot one of my dishes. I had to ask after quite some waiting time, as all my other dishes had been eaten, and staff were flying around everywhere. It turned out somehow they’d forgotten to make it. After letting them know, this was very quickly resolved. Many people outside were eating a classic chorizo tapas, but it was nowhere to be seen on the menu. I nearly didn’t go in, because this was confusing. When ordering my food I asked about this and the waitress (not great English and I don’t speak Spanish ) said -I think- that they do make this but it’s not on the menu. Why not? What else, what other classic tapas was I missing that can be ordered but inexplicably aren't on the menu? They need to fix this! I asked for chorizo and got it. But I can’t fathom why it’s not on the menu when so many people seemed to have ordered it. The menu is very limited for a tapas place. I mean, not what you’d probably expect. But I guess the reason is so they can concentrate on making the things they do, very well indeed. Ok. There we go. Now here are the extremely good things, which massively outweigh my little negatives, and are why I’d definitely go back. In no particular order. -the staff are very friendly -the food, whatever you choose, is extremely good. Surprisingly good in fact. Excellent. Extremely tasty and beautifully presented. - compared to other places around the location I.e. general ripoff London, it’s not horrendously expensive. Even the wine is reasonably priced, especially for London, and much cheaper than my nearby hotel. Oh and even the wine was delicious. -Service is fast. You can turn up, order, eat multiple tapas and a couple of glasses of wine, and be on your way pretty quickly if you want to be. But I didn’t feel rushed at any point. - Location is nice. A calm waterside refuge from the noise, pollution etc. of London. All in all, I really liked the place, and will definitely return. Would give them 4 and a half stars if possible. And with a couple of tweaks they’d be 5 star all the way.

Such an amazing place to eat and relax after a long day of touristic activities

Every dish was spectacular! The service was great, and their wine list was extensive. The owner even spent some time with us. If you are looking for an exciting culinary treat, I would definitely recommend this restaurant! My family spent 13 days in Paris and 5 days in London. This was our favorite meal.

Nice location at the marina, very tasty tapas... no bargains, but that wasn't to be expected either... worth it!!

We were seated quickly but then left for around 15 mins so had to ask someone to take our order. Food was lovely and was good value. Just would’ve been nice if we didn’t have to catch someone’s eye every time we needed something.

The food was alright, there were no highlights though. Sangria was sweeter than expected and appeared to be mixed with some juice. My friend did not like her mussels and thought these were off. The restaurant was kind to us and did not bill us for these mussels despite chef’s feedback that bitterness came from the sauce. The place appeared to have some regulars there, so I guess it is all down to personal taste.

We chose here for a casual evening meal for two. Thea service was excellent and all done with great humour and attention. The food as always was excellent and this restaurant is great for excellent Spanish Tapas.

Nice tapas bar. Actually, my spot was only available for an hour, as the manager told me (and it looked like three months of rain (even though the sun was actually always shining that day)). It later turned out that this is the standard saying. I was worried about it for nothing. Otherwise, the service was regularly attentive and recommended really excellent lamb chops. Probably the best dish of the day. The remaining dishes were okay.

Thursday evening, walk-in. table for 2. Friendly welcome from staff who were professional, helpful and knowledgable. Good selection of Beers, wines & spirits. Food was excellent, cooked & presented well. Tasted delicious. Highly recommend and will return

Absolutely loved it here. Sat outside and they were very helpful as my dad was on a mobility scooter. The various food was amazing, especially the prawns and spinach croquettes. Also a jug of sangria went down very well. Stunning views and a recommended dessert by the staff was amazing. Will be back. Thank you

Consistently great food, and the waiter staff have the perfect balance of being attentive but not visible - delivering excellent service every time. Sitting outside on a beautiful day looking over the quays and boats is a very different experience to eating inside, which has a positive energetic spanish tapas house vibe. I'd recommend trying both.

Been here several times for the location and the food but the managers are always rude. Last time I've been there the manager was arrogant by dismissing me entirely.
