We were greeted by a friendly young woman who took our order. The food was average and luke warm. We were the only guests at this time. One member of staff was constantly coming out of the restaurant sitting on the next table to us while puffing away on her cigarette and goodness knows what she was smoking but it stank! We got mouthfuls of the horrible smoke all through our meal when she could have sat anywhere. We didn't got one smile or hello off this member of staff. The young waiter who brought our food out was unpleasant and just slammed our food down. The green tea was lovely and refreshing. On top of it all we were charged a £8.10 service charge, had we known this would happen we would never have eaten here.

Second visit to the I dim sum. Great food as before. We have a small dog and knew we needed to eat outside so at the end of the meal which cost £80 we asked for some water for our dog which they refused. The place is usually empty and they wonder why they are not keeping regular customers. I can’t see this restaurant staying open for much longer which is a shame as the quality of the food is good.

When this place first opened after Covid, it was great. Lovely Chinese food outside of Chinatown. The service was warm and efficient. Due to these facts we didn't mind paying the high prices. Recent trips in the last 2 weeks have proved disappointing. We arrive, a chap asks if we have reservations and despite the place being empty, we couldn't get a table without reservation. Arrived this Friday lunchtime. The place was empty again, was asked by the same chap if we had a reservation. We said we did, he did not check, did not enquire for name or time, but let us straight in. We were 1 out of three tables occupied. The place was deserted. The service was not efficient, we had to ask several times for the bill, despite it being empty. The prices are still high. The atmosphere has soured. We will not be returning soon.

Expensive meal for 2, food was nice but service was lacking, despite being quiet I had to ask for a drink, after ordering our starters and mains we were surprised they all came out together, apparently that's what we asked for, one starter arrived 10mins after other dishes. We did say we'd order wine with our meal, however no one came by the table to ask if everything was OK or to see if we wanted anymore drinks. £94 for a meal for 2 is not cheap and adding a service charge on despite the poor service was unacceptable and we asked for this to be removed. It's a shame as the food was nice, but it was lacking in the service, the restaurant was very quiet too so unsure why the service was poor

If you miss Hong Kong's 干炒牛河 Ho Fun noodle with beef, head to this place. The beef was succulent and tender. The noodle was perfectly cooked. It was the best I had in years...

We were excited to see a a dim sum place in Kingston. Unfortunately the food is inedible and expensive. We left most of our food on plates. Big mistake!

I've eaten at many Chinese restaurants in London and I have high standards. I Dim Sum is definitely one of the best and in some ways, better than Royal China. The menu here isn't extensive, but it's about quality. The food isn't greasy, not laden with msg and full of flavour. The servers are attentive and polite. There's also a nice atmosphere. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it.

This was a Takeaway. The food was exceptional, many levels above the usual Chinese takeouts I’ve experienced. Yes, it was expensive but honestly our reaction was Wow! Great taste, ample quantities (and not bulked up with onions!!). Look forward to going there at some point.

The food is delicious, my favorite is the Peking duck which is even better than the restaurant in China town. Strongly recommend. Great food, friendly service staff.

The food was nice but it is very overpriced and the atmosphere was rather flat. There was also a limited range of dim sum on the menu.

As a disabled person, the only way to try this place is to get a delivery. I have now had three deliveries which have all been very good. The Dim Sum is the best I have had for a very long time. However, I always felt that the prices are eye - watering, and I was horrified that the prices have just been put up. Yes --UP!!! I don't know how this can be justified, as I, for one will have to reduce my orders. It's very sad as I fear many people will be put off. It's such a shame.

The restaurant tries to be a cut above the "average" Chinese restaurant with its upmarket decor and tables set with wine glasses and cotton napkins. Don't be taken in! First impressions are positive; a friendly welcome, a respectably printed menu but it then fails to...

Tried the jjajangmien(짜장면), seafood jjambbong(해물짬뽕), 쇠고기부추잡채랑 꽃빵, 깐풍기, 탕수육. Jjajangmien was alright. I had been starving of Korean-Chinese dishes, especially this one, and it satisfied me enough. I had jjajangmien last year summer at Korea and that place was much better, but for a place in the UK, not bad. Jjambbong was much better, it was appropriately spicy with the hot seafood broth done good. Still, wouldn't call it an outstanding one, but nevertheless satisfying. 쇠고기부추잡채 with 꽃빵 was a good appetizer. It had been ages since I had this kind of dish and it was much better than I anticipated. The chives were cooked and evenly coated with the beef's sauce synergizing well. The steamed buns accompanied the beef and chives well, and they were indeed steaming when served. A recommendable side dish. 깐풍기 was okay, better than the 탕수육 which felt a little too chewy. Both were very average. Overall, a moderately good Korean-Chinese restaurant, it does its job in being somewhat authentic. The major issue I would mention are the portions compared to the prices. I have lived in the UK in the past and visited this place quite regularly with my family, frankly, the taste has degraded a little with the portions while prices rose. Of course inflation has happend since then, but I still consider the prices a little too excessive. Additionally, I recommend reserving a seat before eating at dinner times as we were unfortunately served at a cramped seat. If you're Korean living in the UK missing 중식, yeah this place is worth a visit. But if you are just a visiting Korean craving it, I would say it wouldn't be the best choice. For new comers, this place would be a good introduction, but definitely not the best it can get. Somewhat recommend.

It’s a real shame this used to be so good but unfortunately the staff are so rude, and abrupt. Tonight’s food was cold and the chicken curry was gloopy and just not very nice. The food isn’t amazing so won’t be in a rush to go back! Our previous family meal we spent £160 and collected then found all the chicken balls were raw inside 4 portions. We rang them and collected a new order while the other food was sitting at home. They didn’t even apologise.
