Missed sweet potato fries off and the second time they forgot sauces

Enjoyed the food, first time I’ve ordered but it won’t be the last

First time we've ordered from I Am Donner and if we order again we'll make very different choices. The food was tasty and it's clear the quality is high but...it was close to lukewarm (not our fault) AND loaded fries don't travel well (our fault).

Bland , very expensive, lack of meat and no sauces were delivered also. Chips were also soggy. Not acceptable for such high prices!

Portions were tiny and chicken shawarma was burnt and dry. Would avoid and go elsewhere.

Ordered a Large Voner with extra Halloumi, and as usual it came as a regular size. Really disappointing.

Went out with friends. This place is about 300 yards from my home in Woolton. Liverpool. Went there rather than order on deliveroo etc. £16,47 for a cold kebab which, for the price, was a complete rip-off. Meagre portion after watching the server only use his hands, no utensils. Avoid, crap overpriced food.

Used to be good, but their quality has become bad quickly

Used to be good about 5 years ago when they first launched in Harrogate and Headingley but their quality has dropped big time. Haloumi has been burnt the last 4 orders, the doner also incredibly dry and recently they’ve completely changed the sauce options to typical boring mayo, chili, and garlic mayo. All the way to Dubai and now they can’t sustain the quality of the past. Shame

bread of donar was not cooked well and was almost doughy. She forgot our garlic mayo and no bag for collection!

Really bad not happy with their wrap and doner salad box. I spent nearly £30 and got 2 wrap with full of salad and very less donner. It’s just like eating pita bread with Mayo. My salad box was very bad they put cold fires in bottom then very less donner and salad and one small piece of grilled Halloumi. Not happy with wraps and salad box. I wish I could check their reviews first then order. 100% agreed with other ppls reviews. Not recommended

Forgot to take a photo but chips were on point but needed some more salt. Oreo Milkshake, I can't fault it, really good consistency and flavour. But the chicken wrap was disappointing. The bread is too thick and the wrap contents were all bunched up rather than spread evenly. The chicken itself in the wrap wasn't the best, didn't taste fresh and there wasn't that much of it. Came here a few years ago and was really impressed but for £17 I couldn't help but feel like the wrap was disappointing :/ hence the two stars. Sorry guys :(

Gone downhill. When it first opened the quality and service was excellent. They now regularly get orders wrong and service is less than friendly. Quality of the food has also sadly gone down as well.

Best chicken shawarma wrap I have ever had I recommend

Honestly I used to be costumer of this place and they just lowered the quality of the product terribly you order a large kebab and they give you a small bread with extra kebab that don't even close properly and they not even spending money on putting the drinks on a separate bag and everything gets wet, cold get here food and now having stomach ache, will take me a while till I try this again.

Smaller portion than normal, not up to the usual standard you get from I am Doner - usually a good size salad but box 1/4-1/3 empty so quite a bit of white space, not very filling either and it usually is. Shame.

Absolute disgraceful attitude from the staff. Ran out of bread supposedly at 9:50 despite serving food until 2AM. Other customers suffered the same fate. A real shame as the food is actually very good.

The flabbiest most awful salad known to man

Awful… what was served is nothing like any kebab I have ever had.. very little meat, no flavour and bread was like chewing rubber.. such a disappointment

I never received my order. Terrible service from Just Eat, who won’t refund. Will not use again.

I ordered a gf falafel Döner with halloumi as extra. I got one piece of halloumi and the gf 'wrap' was dry and in pieces. Impossible to eat. If you can't make GF, don't advertise it, let a lone charge extra.

Tbh I’ve never had a bad kebab of these guys. Always steady.

The place was filthy,sticky worktops dirty floors and the food terrible Even the pads what you order your food from was all dirty, hand prints all over and this was at 5 o’clock No excuses never again first and last time🙈

I have been going since it opened, a 20 mile round trip and it was outstanding!! However the last 3 times I have been the food was very poor. Hardly any meat in the 4 donners I ordered and wilted salad and overcooked burnt meat. Such a shame as these kebabs were the best in Yorkshire, now a £3.50 kebab from some back street hovel is on parr with this place now It will take some doing to get me back in especially at £10 a kebab!

The original delivery time was 45 mins to 1 hour. It was finally delivered over 2 and a half hours. The wrap was nice, nothing exceptional, but the small portion of chips were cold and stale. I live less than 10 minutes drive from the restaurant. Genuinely not ordering again and would recommend anyone that's actually hungry find alternatives.

Whoever collected my order was not me also when ordered I asked for delivery so who knows it remains anonymous but they kept my money

Driver drove straight past me whilst I was stood outside waiting and then drove elsewhere. Food is now freezing cold. Brilliant

Ordered this from deliveroo, waited half an hour, they then cancelled and this was after other places have closed, meaning we miss out on that nights choice of food. Didn't receive any sort of compensation.

Food delivered almost hour too late. Would order somewhere else if I knew. Just Eat App would not let choose any different than "5 minutes late" when reviewing the order.

The Donner meat was black and charred, was like eating charcoal almost genuinely. Had lots of good meals from here before but this one shouldnt have been sent

Haven’t been for ages. Walked into the Leeds centre branch the other day then walked out again when I saw the machines to order on instead of a welcoming counter with actual human beings. However my partner fetched us a couple of vegan doners tonight from Headingley when we needed something quick. The doners were nice but nothing spectacular. They were filling but not huge. I was absolutely gobsmacked when he told me they cost £10 each! £20 on what are essentially two wraps!!!!!! We can get an entire Chinese takeaway for a similar price or 2 curries with rice. Won’t go again I’m afraid as it is way overpriced

I’m sorry but this isn’t acceptable. The veg salad box contains half a piece of falafel (where’s the rest of it?!) and one piece of halloumi. There’s also no feta. I’d like a refund because this isn’t what I ordered, it’s basically just the seitan salad box.

Going down hill and being more expensive, used to be the 🐐 but no love in the kebabs anymore and just thrown together. Genuinely might aswell go to your local boss man and get a special on naan for cheaper the price. Not because it isn’t nice, just because there’s not much difference these days and the passion is nowhere to be seen.

The food quality of this order was awful. I am donor is always a treat but this was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The food was cold, portion size was small, halloumi wasn’t even in the kebab, falafel tasted burnt and the sauce was clearly watered down! This is our first bad experience from I am donor but really reluctant to order here again!

If you're looking for a clean donner that's full of flavour pop down to I am Döner. But he sure to spend a decent amount. 8.5/10

We arrived 10 minutes early, we stood at the counter but all the staff just ignored us, they served other people and delivery drivers. After all the other customers and delivery drivers had been served and the place was empty. They finally asked us what our order number was. Our food was in the cupboard, no idea how long it had been there. When it comes to the food. It's very much like a McDonalds or even worse, they don't seem to be cooking much, I could see right into the kitchen but there wasn't grills and spits for the doner meat. At one point I saw a member of staff reheating doner meat in the deep fat fryer!! The fries were not crisp, they were a bit soggy. The meat looks like its pre-cooked and warmed up. The bread is bought in, the salad may be freshly chopped. The sauces don't have much taste. On the positive side, the portion size is good, and the place looked clean. However, reheating food is never a good idea. The cost is high for a kebab and its positioned as gourmet / premium offering. It's just doesn't live up to anything close to that.

Overpriced for what it was. Food was mostly cold by the time it arrived. I ordered the mixed veg street cart fries but they only added one falafel to the usual mix. I think I won’t be ordering from them again, they used to be good!

Used to be my favourite kebab place. But this was really poor. Bread was undercooked and there was barely any chicken. Such a shame as used to be amazing

This branch is a rip off, Ive ordered from the Leeds and the Headingley and every time I order from the Headingley I get ripped off. I'll order a large Berlin only to get a regular. I know the difference, I'm not an idiot and the Leeds branch don't do this but it's further away. I like the vegan kebabs, they taste yummy but I won't be ripped off anymore so I don't think I'll bother ordering again.

Hate leaving poor reviews but unfortunately pretty unhappy with my experience. Extremely overpriced, poor range of vegetables for the salad I had. Probably the worst part about this restaurant is the fact they only offer 2 sauces! Only positive is that the vegan doner was nice.

Food was ok. Didn’t get my drink though. Which is always annoying. I find places that ‘ forget’ items tend to make a habit out of forgetting things so probably won’t order again. Paid £15 for a regular Kebab and fries which is absurd for me. Not a great value proposition.

A little expensive but lovely food

Did not include some of order, also asked for non dairy sauces but they sent dairy sauces, almost had severe allergic reaction. Do not order if you have allergies or dietary restrictions!

Very unhappy with the food! We used to order from here all the time, but it has really gone down hill. Ordered the vegan street cart fries (which are really expensive!) and they forgot like half the ingredients! The fries were dry, they didn't provide any sauce even when we ordered extra! They probably ran out and didn't think to inform us. And the donner was tough and tasteless.

Really delicious! Also love that there's vegan and gluten free options.

feel like the deliver driver wanted a medal for turning up with cold food , very obviosly did other drops in opposite direction - sort it out - food is cold spent 27 quid as a treat

Items missing ,dough was a bit too underdone for my liking

Food came cold. Despite the food being more expensive then it was previously the quality of food has plummeted. A large kabab is as big as an old regular and there was half as much halumi as there should have been. There is a lack of content in the kabab also. Overall the quality of food is non existent. The quality used to match the price now it is worse yet more expensive.

Order was missing the Extra Mac 'n' Cheese Bites. Shows up as an option on the online order but receipt just said item ticket not found.

Tonight’s kebab was spot on. No complaints here.

I agree with a lot of people below - portion sizes have shrunk, food arrives luke warm and haven’t included chicken in the cart box despite adding it as an extra. Absolute shame, used to be a great place. If you don’t get your s**t together, you’ll end up closing.

Used to go regularly but stopped due not being as good thought I give them another try ordered house special large so it's not cheap so you expect quality I got no halloumi or falafel but excessive amounts of pickled cabbage obviously to bulk it very poor it used to be amazing

I have visited I am donor countless times over the past 6 years, and in the past recommended it to friends and family. I am sad to say that this is not the place it once was- the food is completely different. The main issue I have is with the chicken - this used to be delicious kebab meat, now it seems to be pre cooked, dry, tasteless chicken breast. I know there is a cost of living crisis, so I am guessing they have done this to cut costs- but in my opinion it’s killed the offering- I personally would much rather pay a bit more for the food they offered previously. In all honesty the last take away we had, my partner left all of her chicken due to it being so strange and I wasn’t even comfortable giving it to my dog, so it went straight in the bin - I wish I was exaggerating here. I won’t be returning following several really poor meals.

The delivery time kept changing/updating on the app, initially it was 19.50-20.10 and after 4/5 updates was 21.35-21.50. Food arrived at 21.52. I realise now there was probably a driver shortage as some drivers would be breaking their fast but in that case think that Just Eat/ the restaurant should not have accepted the order. I didn’t cancel because 1. it kept updating the time so it felt like it was just about to arrive 2. I didn’t want to lose my money but a two hour wait is unacceptable and if I can ever find my way through the maze of Just Eat’s ‘customer service’ I will be asking for a refund

Having visited this place previously the food was on point! But how things have changed for the worse! So upon entering it was packed with loud students! Anyway I ordered a chicken mix kebab with a Fanta! Five minutes later my kebab arrived minus my drink! So I asked the lady where’s my drink to which she shouted at me No drink! I said can I get it then! Again No! She shouted! At this point the guy comes from the back to apologise for his rude colleague and offer me a free drink! But I’m afraid damage is done already and I won’t be returning again!!!! PS to make things worse when I got home the kebab was cold and had 90% veg and 10% meat! Avoid!!!!!

Always get the order wrong, used to be good but it's got worse and worse. Chicken Kebab is grim.

Poor, used Uber eats, used to be really good but arrived cold, and way below the quality we are used to.

Busy thanks to Headingley being Headingley, never short of students being students. Food's great, ok prices, but it's not the night out greasy kebab, this is a three piece suit of a kebab. Portions sizes beyond filling. Worth it, worth it.

Woeful. Used to order form here alot but hadn't been for a while. Spent 30 quid on two kebabs just before closing. When I asked for some extra sauce wasn't allowed any as they would have to put it through the till. Large donner and chicken was a small in any other kebab establishment 5 strands of tastless donner at best. Very disappointed.
