I would say they do best biryani around east London wherever I have eaten and even other dishes are quite good as well but not all of them. I am giving 3 stars just for the biryani but the staff and their service is pathetic. They don't even have a clue about customer service. It's like the management just picked somebody who every cost him less money and don't have any education or any kind of skills even the guy standing behind the till. We always go their for biryani and I think that's their backbone. If the biryani's standard goes down, I bet you that the place would be for sale within few months. So my advice is give the staff some sort of training and make sure they don't smell horrible when at work as it is against food and hygiene.

I have been visited this place many a times but this time was a take away. Ordered chinese but the short man with beard on the counter looks like he is from Bangladesh doesn't know how to speak to customers. The management needs to focus more on customer friendly staff as I love the food here but I met this man for the second time, he is not well mannered as we pay for what we order and not there to take peoples bad attitude. The menu is also having discrepancy in price what they charge and whats there on it, so they have to change it. As I was charge more then what was there on the menu. I will definately visit once more time and this time if I see the same guy will figure out how well he behaves or else it will be my last time.

Very limited tables, do get busy during weekends. Do book a table. No restaurant parking, no 🍷 alcohol. Good family environment with Bollywood music. Friendly staff except of one tall guy. I think he keep himself high to work and didn’t understand anything. So my advice is always go for short one. They do accept cards not sure about credit cards 💳.

Firstly, there is hardly any parking nearby, it took me 15 mins to find a space, after 1830 its free. the high st is way too busy.it was reasonably busy when we went, we were seated and our order taken quite quickly. reasonable space and clean. staff were friendly and polite, lovely urdu, mainly Indian clientele.this was the first time we had been to this restaurant. we ordered a mixed grill - various chicken grills, chops, fish and sheekh kebab with roti and an egg fried rice. i had to pay for the yogurt- which was surprising. the food took about 40 mins to arrive, about 20 mins too late. the grill was tasty, however quite expensive (£16), the rotis and rice were lovely. we tried the 'chambali ka meeta (sweetened apricots in cream) it should have been with custard - still tasty.this place was recommended by a few colleagues, however for the biryani, which is meant to be awesome. i will try that next time, and not the mixed grill. others around us were eating biryani, and it did look tempting.

Perfectly made Biryani and massive portions. I always go for the chicken biryani. Nice succulent pieces and the rice is always cooked to perfection with the right amount of spices. The food has been consistent and I used to pack food from here atleast once a month. I am not a big fan of East ham but I didnt mind taking the tube all the way from Central London as the briyani will get you craving all the time. The first few times i always went back to the tried and tested dishes as I did not want to experiment and get disappointed later. But a friend of mine got me hooked on to the Haleem and to be honest i liked it better when compared to the Haleem I've tried in Hyderabad. It was pure magic on a plate and truly delicious. I like my haleem with extra zing and always ask the waiter to pack my food with extra onions and sliced lime wedges. The waiters are really friendly but I always prefer to pack my food as the restaurant is not very clean and it get really noisy during weekends. If you miss biryani from back home, give this place a shot and you will not be disappointed.

A colleague of mine recommended the place... So on my 9th wedding anniversary when I decided to eat out with wifey, I thought let's give it a try... On a dull gloomy day, we thought since it was 6 in the evening, we thought it would be packed as it's a Friday, but when we entered, there was not a single table occupied!! Somehow what came to kind was maybe the hype wasn't so true, but since it'd be even more boring walking out looking for another place in such boring weather, so we decided to stay, and am I glad we did!! The starter chicken manchurian and rotis were something that you can relish in the indo-Chinese restaurants of Bombay and the biryani thereafter too did not disappoint at all... The sweetest element was the dessert "Khubani ka meetha" that was amazing with the chilled cream dressing on apricot fruits garnished with dry fruits!! (Only for those with a Bengali kinda sweet tooth, although I'm not one, I still relished it)... I will definitely love to go back and try more dishes to give this one a five-star rating... But I'm sure I will!!

I went there for the first time last week after restaurants generally in East Ham were recommended. It was busy but we didn't have to queue unlike some of its larger rivals nearby. The menu is large enough but I didn't see anything particularly exciting. We took the waiter's advice and the fried cauliflower starter was very good. Our two meat dishes were average possibly because this is primarily an area for vegetarian food. The portions were quite big so we felt as if we had had a full meal.Staff were reasonably attentive but not specially so.Difficult to say it was a bad meal but more that it was not memorable and it's very unlikely we would return. The restaurant itself is quite small and drab which sums it all up. However, it's quite clear their food is popular in the locality because they were very busy with takeaways.

Myself and a group of friends were driving back from a football match at Brentford, and we used the i phone to locate a local restaurant. Having no idea of what it would be like, we followed the route to the Hyderabad Spices in Hounslow. Looking in, on a dark cold night, it was certainly not plush, and in truth, if I may say this, we were a little disconcerted that we were the only European faces anywhere to be seen, but taking that as a positive sign about the food we went in. It was terrific. The food was what I imagine to be very close to authentic cuisine, and the service was first class. We were made very welcome by both the staff and local customers, and I just loved watching the Indian TV channel on the wall. I wondered if our football shirts would 'put off' the locals, but seemingly not. No tea, coffee or alcohol available, but soft drinks were just fine. A great meal and a brilliant experience. Just loved it.

This place is one of our regular restaurants The positives first..We have been to quite a few Indian places from economy to posh fine dining in, around and outside London, but i must say that Hyderabadi Biryani at Hyderabad Spice is the best biryani we've had to date. For a connoisseur of Biryani HydSpice is a must visit. Apart from their Biryani we also like their starters and other mains especially the Indo-Chinese Chilly paneer, and the Shabnami Kofte. The not so positives..They don't seem to have a liquor licence; if you ask for a soft drink they will bring a can and a glass to you and expect you to pour it out yourselfThe post dinner coffee is not a fresh brew or filter; but plain old Nescafe. The NegativesThe Place is pretty cramped, and when full service can be really slow.Because of the popularity they run out of Lamb biryani pretty early in the night quickly followed by chicken biryani. They can get your takeaway order wrong. I remember they once packed veg biryanis instead of Lamb & I was really annoyed to find that after a 9 mile round trip. To make matters worse they ran out of both Lamb & chicken biryanis by the time I found out and called them; which left me stranded with veg biryani's and no meat or sides. The Manager blamed it all on the "Kitchen being busy" ! er what else do you expect if you are a popular joint ??On a couple of ocassions i have been asked to collect takeaway in 20 mins only for me to get there and wait for another 40-45 minutes (& they dont offer you an apology only a smirk & "5 more mins sir") and no surprise they again blame it on the "Kitchen being busy" In spite of all this we still eat & takeaway from Hyderabadi Spice; so you can imagine how good their food tastes.
