I paid nearly £10 for a large donnor kebab and it was tiny! i would expect more meat on a small.

Definitely not recommended staff rude and unhelpful food greasy and under cooked very disappointed and always used this place never return again

kebabs taste great but the size of them isn't anything to shout about , Large is more like a small .

Food and service is top class. The young lad who’s the delivery driver is always so polite and friendly. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Been a regular for some years now so won't leave a 1 star review, but the prices and portion sizes are becoming a joke, yet another price rise, and portion decline. Food quality and delivery is always 10/10 it's a shame its getting to expensive now.

Would never eat from here again !! The food was cold on arrival Ordered burger with chips ? Chips was really hard and stale ! Burger was ok. I order a large chicken tikka Donna mix 🤮 Donna was dry as hell and it just wasn’t nice at all looked as if it had been cooked / cut hours and hours ago and left sitting also this is where it just gets ridiculous!! So also I order a normal chicken tikka kebab and I was furious my nephew opened it up and there was about 3 piece of tikka and it it was drenched in sauce and salad rang them up complaining and said it was absolutely not ok and that I was fuming 😡 they already Knew what I was talking about they said they would send another one out ?? The new one came and with just 1 more pics of tikka then the first one 🤦🏾‍♂️😳😯 and they gave us a much smaller Nan bread with trust and a bottle of Pepsi and milkshake five ten minute away and they charged £3.50 for delivery costing £28 something for the the order absolutely wouldn’t recommend them didn’t even get an apology or anything just dumped new kebab and walked off Absolutely vile actions and behaviour from a business that has been going for as long as it has been going for

Had to wait a little longer than I was expecting however it definitely worth the wait, the pizza was extremely tasty as well as the chips and cheese burger.

Very nice first time ordering... think £4.50 is pretty steep for delivery 60 seconds walking.. maybe take more business If delivery fee was cheaper .. other than that food was one of the best in log eaton 🫡

my go to place to order takeaway. the service is great, once sent the wrong pizza and realised on their way so they went back and remade the whole order & delivered with the right pizza. do however have to complain on them constantly changing their recipes. loved their mozzarella sticks but they changed them and they change the garlic & herb dip, the pizza and kebab recipe often which is a little annoying. also recieved a hair in my chips not too long ago which made me feel ill & threw away however 90% of the time they’re great. such a lovely place, thank you!

Missing items, cold and stale unfortunately

Ordered shish donner on chips. When it arrived there was no donner. Rang them up straight away and was told they would be sending the donner out. Nothing got delivered and due to the time they had closed. Not good for a recurring customer

Normally super nice, ordered tonight to be given plastic looking kebab meat, rang to complain and he said its because of first cut, absolutely terrible, it's shiny and rock hard like leather. Changed kebab meat avoid avoid avoid

Food hot and very tasty shame it took a geological time period to arrive.

Ordered Mint yoghurt on the kebab. Had none on it. Salad was poor, just onion. The chilli sauce pot was poured out all over the bag could have been prevented by wrapping it separately. And cost of delivery for a few streets away (child in bed preventing collection) being over £4 is absent disgusting.

Food is always early, normally it's decent but seems to be more and more recently less for your money (prices have gone up) chips soggy (normally crispy) chicken hard/ over cooked, big shame as used to really rate this place.

Been going here for years , first time been for a while and it’s changed hands that was very evident , I had a large kebab hardly had any meat on there , glad I didn’t have a small one , apart from a very small portion didn’t rate the quality of the meat , previous owners always looked after you , shame really as I only ever went there very dissapointing

Ordered from here today. Received my kebab. All looked well until I started eating and found two short curly hairs in my food. They offered to resend it and I stupidly accepted but couldn’t eat the food I had or the resent food out of disgust.

Hi, just had 3 kebabs from here absolutely rubbish, we used here for at least 10 years the last 2 kebabs were full of grease and now it's like shredded meat, I don't know where the boss is but I won't have another unless he returns, thanks for nothing,

Had the rainbow cake with gelato. It was amazing. The guy behind the counter says he has it every day. He is a nice boy.

Ordered food 22.20 it turned up 23.20 luke warm tried ringing them no answer as they shut at 23.00 put food in microwave then in bin very disappointing.

Previous week we had a kebab missing.the following week we ask for two salad chicken tiki and donar meat.we were given them with a nan bread. No going there again.

Always ordered food from here and it was good. Today ordered a delivery take away, which was meant to come in 45 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting I called the hungry hut who said it will be ready in 20 mins and then delivered. Had to pick it up myself and the food was horrible! The chips were dry and reheated and the naan bread was burnt. They also didn't give me any of the sauces I've ordered!

Been using this Takeaway for over 15 years, very clean and tidy takeaway, food is always freshly made and piping hot. The owner Shafiq is hands on and very professional. Best place to get a Takeway around long Eaton.

I can only share my experience. The communication wasn’t the greatest, when I called. So I wasn’t expecting much. The price I thought a little pricey.. I ordered a small shish and Nan with salad and chilli sauce. The wife had doner with salad. The food was absolutely delightful and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again. I’d recommend to friends and family definitely ..

On collecting my order I found the service isn’t as good as it could be, the owner doesn’t make any effort to talk to customers and never smiles. Shame really as the lady that works there is much more pleasant but she’s not the face of hungry hut and isn’t always there to greet you, it’s a shame really as the food is pretty decent all round. Also they should employ more than one delivery driver to cut down on home delivery times, just a thought.

The food was delivery took more than 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive, the order was incorrect and the food was swimming in grease. When complaining they said there was nothing they could do about the kebab as that is how it is. We will not be using these again. The food was order through Uber Eats, yet the delivery when arrived, was by their own driver. See images for more details of the grease, this kebab was also meant to be a large, this is just a normal sized one. VERY POOR SERVICE, VERY POOR FOOD.

Since the move to the new premises, the accuracy of getting your order right has gone out the window, 3 of the last 4 pizzas ordered have all been missing a topping. Its still a good pizza and probably the best in Long Eaton but to continually forget to add my topping is taking the mick.

My recent experience with Hungry Hut was absolutely appalling to say the least which is super disappointing as this is not my first order as I’m a loyal customer. My latest experience consisted of nothing but utter rudeness... I called the restaurant to make my order and they said it would take one hour to arrive it’s now 1 hour and 30 mins later with no response. I rang again to ask how much longer the food would take? their solution to the problem was to tell me “cancel your order if you like” what a joke when you pay for their £1.80 delivery charger and I only live 2 minutes away from the shop. They also lacked the correct food supplies which makes a KEBAB SHOP. This is my last order to hungry but they can keep their food as I will not order from there again.

I ordered a kebab last night and woke up this morning with food poisoning. I have been vomiting and diarrea every where all day don’t eat from here

This establishment has moved just down the road from its original premises. Simply because the business has grown and got more popular over the years. I have been going there for a good few years and the kebabs are great and always reliable.

The food was cold and tasted very bland and the donner meat didn’t taste like donner meat from a normal take away and the nann bread was burnt and really tough and made me feel ill and I had food poisoning the next day! . I wouldn’t recommend going here at all not Impressed

Food options are great. I have ordered many times both for delivery and collection. Food here is good value, I personally enjoy the doner kebabs and pizzas. I'm sure I will continue to enjoy and order food from here.

The chicken tikka on naan is really nice... just wish they would serve the lettuce and the cabbage separately... especially since there’s more cabbage than lettuce, which isn’t particularly great. When there’s plenty of lettuce, it’s really nice.

Terrible. Chips tasted like wax candles with a slither of potato. The delivery driver decided to invite himself into the house (i was abit scared as he was bigger than me) He also tried to short change me, i normally leave a tip but made sure i got the correct change. The order was wrong twice, after the first time i called and explained the situation and ended up receiving a barrage of abuse from the guy on the other end shouting telling me the order was correct and swearing. I didnt get my food in the end as they said they would re deliver and well i am still sat here waiting for it now. So it is either not coming or very sloppy delivery. Either way this will be my last delivery with the so called Hungry Hut as the name is true to what they sell. If you order from then you are going to be left hungry.
