Hungry Horse - Castle View in Dudley

Stopped off here for lunch. We had mix it up and gammon. The food here was amazing. Plenty of peppers and onions on the skillet as some places on put on a tiny bit and its burnt to a crisp before you start... not here very fresh and tasty. BEST hungry horse we have had in a long time. Thankyou and keep up the fantastic quality...

Nicole was absolotly amazing ! Catered for my autistic children amazingly well. Found us a tucked away table, and bent over backwards to help find a way to support my son who has an eating disorder. She couldn’t have done more! The world needs more Nicole’s!!

Owen was brilliant with the children (and adults 😆) today when we came to see Elsa. He really is a credit to your team. Always happy and cheerful every time we come and we do come regularly. Food was all lovely. I think the £8 for children's nuggets chips and squash and Elsa was a little pricey and they would have liked a choice for their meal. But other than that can't fault the place. We usually do feed the family, bargain.

We went to Castle view Greene King pub on bank holiday Monday with all of the family, we enjoyed it so much we went back the following day and had dinner once again, the staff were all very polite and helpful, Especially Owen Who was extremely kind and very cheerful he made us feel very welcome, the other two staff members we had encounters with were also very lovely .. a young man and a young woman who served us and checked that we were happy with our food, there wasn’t much of a wait and the food was delicious Hayley and Tommy ♥️

2. Breakfast and salted caramel iced latte and salted caramel milkshake. Drink were nice but very small straws didn't reach bottom of the glass and of course we wanted to drink them all. Breakfast was nice too. Cornflake chicken strips was interesting. Was a very quiet morning at the castle view. 1. Was nice. Didnt get a pic this time. Didnt have to book and just missed rush hour by the looks of it. Only one problem ordered a mini mixed grill which came out without steak and wasn't told when ordering but was asked which steak sauce we wanted. Thought maybe just no steak available but then table next to us later had a steak sizzler. Still a nice mini mixed grill even without the steak.

Welcoming atmosphere, food was served in a reasonable time and was hot and well cooked, staff were friendly and happy to help

The staff were lovely and its a nice cosy place, the chips were a bit undercooked but everything else was great!

Good menu with plenty to choose from. Always an offer on each day for food. Had to steak and eggs for breakfast, would eat again.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful the food is delicious and the play area is so good for the kids it keeps the kids happy and busy . Just to thank all staff and the Manager for this afternoon .

Excellent pub with efficient friendly staff. On ground floor accessible for wheelchair users. Plenty of parking space. Very close to the Zoo, Cinema, Bowling Alley and Black Country Living Museum. Well worth a visit.

Typical pub environment! Not bad service and the food was ok! Great stop off at a reasonable price.

Meal was fantastic we come every month same table same lovely staff especially Edel the manager and Owen.

Ordered a drink on the qr code app and when it came the glass was that dirty it looked like it had never been washed. The bartender must of been blind not to see it. I also asked for no ice and it came with ice. It was changed quickly and they apologised but it shouldn't of happened. I ordered food which I had the chicken, red onion and nacho sauce on chapati. I started eating and noticed there was no onion on it. I called staff over and told them. He said he would go and asked in kitchen. He came back and said they hadn't got any red onion. I think this should of been brought to my attention before it came out to me as I would of ordered something else. There were a few things our party of 13 couldn't have due to them not having it. Food wasn't great. My son's chicken was very very dry. Overall not a very good experience.

Food was cooked to perfection. The meat on the mixed grill was so tender, it melted in our mouths. Staff were very friendly and helpful, shared in praising my son for eating all of his dinner.

Currently away for work and go to this place often. The staff here are always polite and take order request effectively. If there are any problems with the food(rare) they quickly make it right. The staff we deal with the most are Ciera, and Caitlyn. They are always happy to help and very polite. Will always go here when working in this area. Thank you all

I had full monty, the gammon steak was dry and over cooked, chicken was dry, steak best part of meal. Service at The table was poor the chap who brought the food out held the food at one end of the table for us to take it off him instead of him putting the food down in front of us. 2 others ordered new York chicken, where the chicken again was dry and one of them did not get any onion rings. Another had lasagne which was watery. The straws are almost half the size of the bottles and a pint glass so you lose the straw in the drink!!!!

My son choose the kids pasta bolognaise when it came unfortunately he didn't like it. he became upset a lovley lady Nicole came over and spoke to my son and she said she was happy to.change his meal she didn't have to do that she was absolutely lovely and so kind to my son bless her. Visited for Easter Sunday with all the family, we had the Sunday roast, which was a good price and very nice. Definitely be going back. Staff were very friendly, and interaction with the children was good.
