20 minutes late, food cold, quality poor. use to be a good restaurant, now poor will not be buying again.

From when order was placed it originally said delivery time 40mins to 1 hour. It took over 2 hours to receive food from when we placed the order. I called the restaurant after it had been 1hour 30 mins to chase our order and they said it was just going out for delivery. We waited another 45 minutes and still not received our food. We looked at the app to see it had been delivered which it hadn’t. I called the restaurant again and then we received it 5 mins later.

I did not expect the food to be this good! it was really hot and so tasty, very big portions and the burger was proper high quality. i even had cheesecake and icecream and the ice cream was still cold and solid not a liquid goo! really impressed!

Delicious food, arrived hot and good sized portions. Highly recommend the hot cheese dip and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the black and blue fries.

food was cold...would be delicious hit I'm sure...but not worth £25 sorry

very late delivery, was told on phone was getting free tenders but never recieved but food was terrible. chips were cold and burgers tasted horrible and luke warm. £43 order for terrible food and service. wont be ordering from there again!

Ordered at 6pm, website said would be delivered in about an hour. Delivered at 7.50pm. Food nice but portion size for hog roast fries definitely smaller than before with change of container. Rang at 7.45pm to check delivery, no apology. Told ‘It’s just going out of the door, we were waiting to see if there was another delivery in the area.’ Really!!! Delivery driver nice and apologised. Wasn’t up to him to apologise!

Chicken tenders overcooked and rock hard, horrible. Mac & cheese and burger very average. Milkshake over priced for what it was. £55 order. Won’t be ordering again - don’t waste your money!

our order kept being delayed and then out food wasn't very hot and the children's meal had an open sauce container in that spilled all over the food. my daughter can't have tomatoes so she couldn't eat her food 😔 disappointed as we love eating at hungry cow, definitely won't get take away again though.

Omg what a find ! Beautiful little.gem Tucked away can't believe we've never seen it before. Was blown away by the quality of the food and the kindness and politeness of the staff. January one of the best nights out in a long time here. Can't wait for my next visit and neither can my tummy box. Also.love that the outside dining area is no smoking. We chose to go there and was pleasantly surprised with this. 👍👍👍👍👍

Extremely long wait for food. Had we been informed when ordering we would have gone elsewhere. The place was not busy. Only 2 orders came out of the kitchen in 35 minutes. Food was OK when it arrive.

The food must be sat there ready for hours before it reaches us paying for food to wait an hour- 2hours absolutely not paying for food taking this long weather it’s a busy day or not I want a refund

Came for some food a little while ago and it was fairly busy, but super loud, the music was that loud I had to basically be in the face of whoever I was talking to, be it my partner or the servers. The food was quite unappealing and disappointing. I had heard great things about the food here so obviously decided to give it a try, totally not worth it in my opinion. I ordered a bbq pulled pork chicken burger and it was so conflicting. The chicken itself was quite nice, but the entire burger was falling apart. The bap was slightly soggy and slightly burnt with the tiniest amount of pulled pork I’ve ever seen hiding underneath a single strip of bacon. I upgraded to loaded fries which were honestly quite bland and nothing special, the beef on my fries was dry and overcooked, and for £4 extra I really regretted upgrading them. My partners fries looked significantly better than mine but they were flavourless, and he had to request salt, which wasnt with the other things on the table like sauces and cutlery. The beef burger that my partner had was dry and overcooked, and absolutely drowning in sauce that overpowered the meal. The portions were also quite small considering the price, it cost slightly over £50 for two people, a burger each, three drinks total and a side each. The only good dishes were the sides, consisting of corn on the cob and onion rings. We also left feeling hungry. Despite the poor food and loud atmosphere, the service was great! The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly!! I would like to try Hungry Cow again, maybe I just came on the wrong day, or maybe a different location, but I would NOT come back in a rush, and I would definitely NOT recommend Hungry Cow to others. Definitely not worth the money.

Our food was over an hour late. For a £15 burger it was no better than McDonald’s and part of what was supposed to be on the burger was missing. My “loaded fries” had all of THREE jalapeños on and the red chillies had been replaced with spring onions. My partners burger was also below the expectations of a £15 burger. His loaded fries weren’t correct to what he ordered and there was no pulled pork on the hog fries. For an order that was £51 I am just absolutely gobsmacked a what I’ve just received

Had a notification to say food was on its way, still then took 45mins to be delivered (should only take 10mins by car) but that being said it was delivered within the original time slot allocated. It was slightly cool. But the driver was very friendly and food itself was absolutely delicious. Would probably collect myself next time though.

Over heard the manager being abusive to a young girl who works there. The food was awful and the manager is obviously a bully. Think the manager needs some management training.

Very busy. Outside seating all occupied. Toasted sandwich not very hot .Dog friendly outdoors, that OK until they start barking for their food.Toilets very tired looking and need maintainence

Food took about an hour and half to arrive, the maccaroni and cheese was cold in the middle, the chips were soggy and the nachos were also soggy, im guessing it had been sat for a while before the food was actually delivered. Not impressed

We tried calling the restaurant to enquire about the delivery time, but no one answered. Upon delivery, the delivery man was perfectly nice but offered no explanation as to why our food was so delayed, not offered us recompense. Side note: the burgers were delicious, but there was a small stone in one of them (we thought it was a piece of tooth at first!).

Been here quite a few times and had delivery's from them the food is always hot and very tasty and it doesn't matter if we are on a date night, out with family or with friends, everyone loves the food and we always have a great time

Forgot part of the order, which is fine these things happen but the shop kept hanging up on me pretending I had a bad line before coming out with it, without taking an order number or address.

The food was INCREDIBLE! Literally in a food coma now! I tried their Carolina Cow smash burger and it was absolutely delicious, and shared some BBQ chicken tenders and onion rings with my partner. The staff were brilliant, so kind, friendly and attentive. The general atmosphere was great, lovely to sit outside in a buzzing environment with lots of people around. Overall had an absolutely brilliant experience and would recommend to all!

Really sad to see they’ve changed the vegan burgers from a meat substitute style to more of an actual vegetable burger. Much drier and not as tasty. Such a shame! Please bring back the OG plant in the USA burger 🙏

Ordered at 8:15pm took until passed 10pm to arrive. By this time I was passed eating as you can imagine 2 hours for an order that on ordering had 45-60 minute delivery time

From ordering, the delivery time was already over an hour expected time. But then it was delayed twice and I’ve waited over an hour on top of that for something that wasn’t worth the wait.

We have been here before and the food was excellent but the food this time was ok and some of it was cold. We where the only ones in and the food took 1hr before we had it

Honestly some of the best food in the area. The burgers were our least favourite thing we ordered and they were amazing too. We had loaded fries, mac and cheese and smash burgers. Seriously good grub!

Ordered on just eat as their website doesn't work we decided to try them as had heard good things about the Colwyn bay one... We ordered the Korean tender, the doner loaded fries, the bostyn burger and the smashed in France. Firstly the tenders are amazing, huge really crispy and yummy (the Korean BBQ sauce needs to be Korean not normal BBQ with chillies on though haha) the bostyn burger was good, the smashed in France was dripping in grease it was dribbling down my fingers there was no gruyère cheese on it, no crispy onions and no bechamel sauce, so basically a double cheeseburger with some ham and mustard mayo... The loaded fries would not be what I would call loaded with ONE PIECE of Donner pastrami and the chef making the "config garlic dip" .... I dunno what that is, is it suppose to be a mayo? I have no idea but one it's definitely not confit garlic, it tasted sour and had no flavour to it and unfortunately it was all over the "loaded fries" won't be trying again, not a dig just some constructive feedback.... If people look through a menu and choose a burger with certain ingredients you expect to have them.

Set back from the street, this is a hidden gem. Friendly staff and excellent loaded fries. Plenty of seating inside and out. Wide range of drinks available. Part of a local chain but definitely worth a visit in Mold.

Absolutely flawless and personal service from our host Abbie who, from the get go made us feel like we were friends apposed to customers. Service was very speedy and the food was absolutely fantastic. The beef served was cooked to perfection and portion sizes generous. My partner ordered BBQ loaded fries... Now I don't really like BBQ however after giving them a try I probably ate more than half. Bottom line, just go... If you're a fan of filling meals involving beef or chicken you'll love these guys! Best burger we've ever had (ordered THE COLONEL burger) and the loaded fries were certainly loaded and gorgeous (ordered THE STICKY PIG FRIES), layered perfectly too. Service was wonderful, we were served by Abbie and she was wonderful, charming and a sense of humour! Couldn't have had a better server! Felt well and truly cared for! Highly recommend. I would have taken pictures but honestly I forgot we just got straight stuck in as it looked so delicious!

We popped in for lunch and ate off the lunch menu. Wonderful toasties at a very reasonable price. The restaurant was very busy but staff were friendly and quick to serve. Will return to eat off the main menu in future

Took 2 hours and a call to the restaurant before we finally received our order. Food ok but 2 hours delivery time is not really acceptable. Busier places can cope much better.

No complaints about the food but the service was very poor. The staff stood behind the bar the entire we were there. They didn’t come to our table once to ask if we wanted anymore drinks. If you needed anything you needed to go up to the bar - which you shouldn’t need to do in any restaurant. It was the same for the other customers too. Again, the food was brilliant but the service has put me off going there.

Had probably the best burger I've ever had here in mold! The colonel burger... Beautiful flavours very well cooked. Highly recommended to burger lovers.

Exceptionally slow service and mediocre food at best, not one for a second visit.

Ordered at 7pm for 8pm delivery, got at 9:50! Poor, food was luke warm but the free pepsi was obviously a hilarious gesture! Appreciate it's valentine's but more of a massacre than romance Tonight. Poor show hungry cow.

food was very late, hungry cow delivery it themselves so I can't fault them, the food still tasted great, they called me to apologise and gave us free fudge cake as an apology for the delay.

Ordered food at 19:00 received notification of arrival time of 20:10, spoke to restaurant as food not arrived at 20:30 and stated driver was in another area... food actually arrived after 21:00 ... very disappointing

Really great food and nice staff, managed to cook for a party of 30+ people without any issues at all. Everyone got what they ordered and it was brought out as close together as possible.

Not happy about the fact it arrived 1 hour late. So over 2 hours since ordered is a poor service. Was pleased it arrived hot though considering it was late

The food was good and arrived hot but asked for delivery at 18.20, first expected delivery time was 18.45 which isn't bad, would have accepted that. However, this didn't arrive and it became 19.10. I started to get annoyed when I didn't have any food or update at 19.20 and finally got told 19.40. Over and hour late, I understand it's a Saturday night and could be busy but they need to make expectations for customers more reasonable and update with issues.

The food was nearly 2 hours late and slightly warm really poor delivery service, I had to ring the restaurant twice to make sure they hadn't forgotten about it as the just eat site said it was delivered already

We placed an order at 6:15 which didn’t arrive until 9:00. When the food arrived it was barely warm boarding cold and had to be reheated. Don’t advertise delivery times between 45-60 minutes if you are not capable of meeting these standards

We went for food here last night for my husband's 60th birthday. The food was amazing and the service was very good. The waiter who took our orders was very patient and friendly, there were 18 of us. We will definitely go back.
