Wok 1 Buffet in Flintshire

Great variety of food. It is really well presented and cooked. spacious and clean facilities and polite and helpful staff.

We went to wok 1 last week we couldnt fault anything about it it’s the best iv been too its that amazing we going again tonight im taking the family this time it’s a defo 10/10 for me

Food is freshly cooked so everything you eat is hot

Haven't visited for a couple of years because I had felt like it had gone downhill but they've really got back on track. Food was lovely. Will be visiting again

Food is standard food for a buffet! But staff are always taking away clean plates and are always refilling with fresh food. Such good value for money.

Food was average, little variety, no teppanyaki grill on a Saturday night too? Numerous plates had cracks and chips on them which is totally disappointing and unhygienic. Staff were not very helpful. My opinion is stay well clear

Great meal tonight with the family, our kids had an amazing time. Big selection of options including dessert which can be a rare buffet find. Well priced and decent atmosphere

Good choice of Chinese food. I love the bao buns. Food is all really good. Chocolate fountain and ice cream to finish....yum.

Lovely birthday meal for the family

This is the world's most underrated restaurant, I've been going every few months for the past 2 years for my birthday, etc and the atmosphere is incredible, relaxing music, the interior and exterior really light up the grimy street, the fish by the entrance are very cool. Food is astounding but PLEASE bring back the King Prawn Rolls! They've been gone since the pandemic, and were DELICIOUS! The Iceland ones aren't the same. Friendly staff always ready to answer questions, not sure what happened to the grill chef but maybe I'm just missing their hours. Staff ready to allow birthday cake to be brought in and the Wonton are so 👌 😋 🔥

Turned up with a party of seven, they sat us off to a side room which was ideal with three noisy children. Good spread of usual Chinese Buffett and really nice deserts, chocolate fountain was a big hit with the kids (and Wife). Price was good and drinks fairly priced also. Everything was clean and fresh food brought out all the time. Parking can be a bit of an issue if you aren't from the area, so a bit of research prior helps loads.

Food was fine. Found who I assume is the owner rude and not very polite. Big table of us there bringing alot of custom and just seemed annoyed at us from the get go.

Love it so much wish I could eat there everyday.

If you haven't been just go you won't be disappointed the food is to die for

Lovely place, nice atmosphere, rolling in and out food onto the buddy court always made fresh, the rice could have been a touch better but overall lush Disert bar was just as.noce with fresh rolly Polly's, plenty to chose from with chocolate fountain to enjoy with also fresh cold whipped ice-cream with lots sprinkles

Lovely little restaurant, with an extensive buffet with lots of choice. Food was very tasty, hot and fresh. The restaurant was pretty quiet although it was 8pm on a Saturday evening. The staff were very attentive, and the prices are very reasonable! I will be back x

Lovely food, plenty of choice, quick and efficient young lad clearing the empty plates and prompt to notice if you needed another drink! Can't fault the place at all, highly recommend

Really disappointed. Had a table booked for Sat evening. Arrived to a queue of 7 people in front of us. When at front of queue told server we had a table booked. Server said it would be 5-10 mins for table and apologised. They then proceeded to take us upstairs to a waiting room next to toilets. We waited for 30 mins before leaving as couldn't wait any longer. It seemed like a free for all. I hope to return as we were realy looking forward to it but perhaps on a less busier night. Please, if a table if booked it needs to be reserved.

Very nice, food is fresh, beer a little over priced I thought..

Went on a Saturday and was my first time visiting this establishment, on entry the place was welcoming and as we were guests to a party booking we sat down and got to eating, 3 plates later and 1 plate of dessert I was full,the food was OK,not the best choice or variety but had a food enough selection to fill me, definitely got my moneys worth haha

We only recently discovered this place and I have to say, I am glad we did. The staff are so friendly and efficient, the cost for the buffet is very reasonable and the food is really good. We went for a birthday meal and because there would be 13 of us, I called ahead to book, when I told them that it was a birthday they said that if I wanted to bring a cake they would be very happy to have it in the kitchen until we were ready for them to bring it out for us, they even put a Happy Birthday banner on the wall by our table.

Very good value and food was spot on. Hot and tasty buffet. Only problem i had was 2 kids running around with no control. Toilets are upstairs which isnt disabled friendly

I went here on a Friday night mid January so wasn’t expecting it to be very busy. We arrived (4 adults) and only a few tables were occupied but within 30 mins it was full. Drinks were served and we headed to the buffet. Plenty of choice but randomly set out and no Teppanyaki cooking. The food was pretty good, I have tasted better but value for money is excellent. It was a very cold evening and luckily I took a warm coat with me, the restaurant was cold and didn’t warm up even when it was full. I’d definitely go again.

Food wasn't bad but also wasn't good, been to better places with more choice but what what stunned me the most my son had some sweets left over in a tiny bowl and asked for a little tub to take them home the waitress said we don't do the ... But earlier on 2 women walked out with take away tubs the waitress Stuttered then said we charge £7 my jaw dropped absolutely shocking charging me £7 for a small bowl of sweets that would only just go in the bin....shocking to say the least

Food limited and felt like it had been out for along time.. The place was empty do no fresh food coming out..

We visited celebrating FSAC Christmas get-together, great friends, great food, and a great time getting the old club spirit back.

A lot cleaner and better run than you'd expect for this price level. Staff are very attentive, food is always plentiful and tasty. Would recommend and do visit there myself fairly regularly.

A decent all you can eat restaurant that you can get a take out box for £7 that's really good price. I've been here loads of times eating in and had many take out boxes. The shredded duck and crispy beef is nice, the steak Is tender and the prawns are juicy too. Also a good selection of deserts like pancakes and ice cream etc. You can get your own table for 4 to 6 and there's a huge family table for over 10 people. The staff is very friendly and keep topping up the trays of food aswel

It's a few years since I visited this restaurant and I'm very impressed with the quality of the food which has improved significantly! It's was good before but this time I can definately recommend it as one of my favourite eating places. We were the last to leave this evening and it was nice to see that the staff were in no rush for us to leave.

My family went to Wok One for my husband's birthday. The food was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for you, and a very clean restaurant. The staff even came over and sang Happy Birthday. Will definitely go back again and again. Thank you Wok One for making my husband's birthday memorable.

Really nice food, plentiful choice. Everything cooked perfectly and tasted lovely. We really enjoyed our meal and worth the drive out (40 minutes). Have eaten here before, not long after Covid 19 restrictions lifted, and we were just as happy with the meal then. Will definitely be revisiting.

Excellent food quality and so reasonable

Amazing buffet style food. Everything was fresh and hot. All of the food was incredibly tasty. The staff were amazing and were constantly making everything perfect. Will definitely be back soon

This restaurant has really gone down hill, and the service isn't great either.

Wow what can I say other than stay away food is poor choice not a great deal to choice from. Bland taste, ribs where fatty. No meat on them. ... cold the rice was pitiful hardly any. The ice-cream wasn't forming right very liquidity. Not the best buffet... The waitress where friendly, and worked hard didn't stop keep clearing your table. Didn't like the fact the one of the young girls came over with Bill, an then the boss took payment when she saw it was cash, so not sure if girls got there tip. 🤔 I strongly recommend you give this a miss.

Great food and attentive staff. Surprised at £7 charge for box to take away a half eaten plate as its only go in bin. Though understand they do a carry out box service for £7. Meal for 2 and two soft drinks (plus box charge) totalled £47.50. I guess ok for a nice change but Ill use takeaways at under a third of price.

Food is amazing, but the deserts let them down a bit. The service is very hit and miss some times they are spot on other times they arnt as good. Went here again desert still a let down service has drastically improved

Had to wait to review until we had been back a second time and I yet again have not a single negative comment about this place, the staff are so helpful and lovely, and it's so clean, all the staff are constantly cleaning tables. The food far surpasses any other Chinese buffets we have been to, and the price is amazing, on a Sunday it cost us just shy of £40 for 2 pint glasses of soft drink and full buffet including desserts, theres also a white chocolate fountain which I've never seen at a buffet before. We also found out they do takeaway containers for £6.50 which for the size of them it's really good, all in all will be definitely going back again, its a 40 minute drive from us and completely worth it.

Really enjoyed my night here tonight, food was great and we weren't rushed out at the end, will definitely be back

Food was nice. They charged us for one child and three adult, we were two adults and two twelve year olds. Children are 12 years old twins. But they are too old for the child price, so the restaurant were kind enough to reduce the bill slightly by charging one as a child. Restaurant can be a bit noisy. But that is the nature of restaurants, not much owners can do about that.

First time there and we will be returning.. the food was amazing, my only criticisms were that tepanyaki grill was off as no chef, and ice cream machine wasn't working.. but everything else was amazing and the staff were wonderful.

Says it’s 12.50 on Monday-Thursday so you can imagine the horror we had when receiving 15.99pp for the bill for the quality of the food and small selection this 12.50 should of been the set price we found hairs in the food which you can’t blame with it being a buffet but the amount on hairs we found was disgraceful. Will not be returning

Disappointed with food, most items had very little in the bain marie, and it was luke warm. Suppose to be fillet of beef in one dish, pork very fatty, duck didn't really taste like duck. Overall not worth the money.

Nice place with good food, the only thing what i would suggest adding are more vegetables or salads. Also with the previous owner the restourant had grill which was very nice so if that come back it would be cool.

Hadn`t been here for a few years and I was told it had New Management so decided to go. Manager was very welcoming upon entering and escorted us to a table . Food choices were very good and all was Hot that were meant to be hot. Upon eating I found the food excellent and we both thought it was good value and lovely tasting food . After main course we had Marshmallows to skewer and dip under the chocolate fountain. After that we had whippy Ice - cream with flavoured sauce. All in all an excellent time at the Wok 1 Buffet and will definately go again if those standards continue.
