Hungry Cow in Conwy

Stumbled across here and glad I did. Not only was it great service but was really pleased as a vegetarian that we were catered for and not just vegans. The burger were lovely too and not that pretend meat style which I don't like. The sides were banging and the guy who served even suggested to put the chilli's on the side for me which was a nice touch. Thank you for some lovely food.

Visiting the town with family. Stumbled on this place. Service was friendly, food was delicious and served in good time. Would recommend

OMG what amazing food!! I ordered food after being tempted for a while and I am so pleased I did. The food was the best I have had in a long time, so tasty and fresh. I will 100% be ordering again and big shout to the chefs who must work so hard to keep these good standards up!

After a long car journey, we decided to order in (via Justeat). 2 burgers and 2 desserts - £40.00 a bit steep but hopefully worth it as it looked good on the internet. Our order arrived in a paper bag sat on the drivers seat, both burgers (which must have been hot) and both deserts (which contained ice cream!!) arrived together in the same bag!!!! You guessed it (simple thermodynamics) the stuff that was once hot was like our July, a bit chilly, and the ice cream desserts were starting to melt!! Not going there again. As a business you need to learn from this!! Avoid!!!

The food was excellent and the service was very good. The food was well prepared and we didn't have to wait too long. Good range or burgers_beef, chicken and vegan. Service was very good with friendly staff. We will be returning!

Great burgers and fries, for a reasonable price, in a great setting. Staff friendly. Our only recommendation would be a better wine selection… hope to be back soon!

This was the 5th visit to the hungry cow in Colwyn bay, it was lawful, I was really disappointed as I have recommended it to lots of my friends previously. There was no heating, we had to sit with our coats on, they had halogen heaters but these did not work . We ordered drinks half of them were not available. We waited over an hour for our food, when it did arrive it was cold, fair enough they made fresh loaded fries but by the time they came out warm we had pretty much finished our burgers. The burgers were a little in the pink side which is fine as long as the meat was fresh and you don’t mind it like that.

Been here a few times as food was really good. Very disappointed with last nights visit. Place very cold, heaters not working; waited over an hour for our food, chips were cold. We complained and had hot chips, but this ruined our experience.

Ordered for delivery, was an hour late. Food looked nothing like advertised. Tasted unseasoned and dry. Chicken was verging on burnt. Big bits of fat running through chicken burger, dog enjoyed it though. Onion added to burger when I asked for them not to be. Chicken gravy was identical the Mayfair sfc box stuff you get from home bargains, which I already have in my kitchen 😂 overall extremely disappointing, and so not worth the money. You expect premium from the photos on their pages, it’s nothing like it. Would never go here again.

Probably the best franchise burger belongs to Five Guys. Well, guess what? The guys at Hungry Cow have managed to top them! We opted for signature burgers and loaded fries. All arrived within 30-40 minutes on a weekday evening, hot and fresh Even Samuel L Jackson (Pulp Fiction) would've been impressed The whole ensemble was a true taste sensation from the first to last bite Were the burgers worth £11.00? Just about Bit pricey to be brutal but as a once a week/special occasion treat, knock yourself out We'll return time and again

Food took 2 hours to arrive and when it did arrive it was cold and missing items. Loaded fries was disappointing as well as being cold there was hardly any topping and the portion was small. Overall very disappointing. Complete waste of money.

Food doesn’t look like the photos they advertise, “loaded chips” aren’t very loaded, more bun than burger, the halloumi fries didn’t seem fried just slabs of halloumi, food is all round average just abit disappointed as expected it to look more how they advertise

Ordered from here (Colwyn bay store) on Saturday waited over 2 hours for my order to turn up wrong. Was promised to have an order sent out that would be correct the following evening so I sat and waited and at the time it was supposed to turn up I had a snotty rude member of staff telling me I wouldn't be receiving an order tonight. Also have been told different reasons as to why my order was wrong one being the ran out of things and the other being I had someone else's order. People should avoid at all costs I would have been better at going to McDonald's for my tea.

Visited the hungry cow after following the restaurant on Facebook and seeing amazing pictures of the food. I was not at all disappointed! The menu will suit anyone who likes a burger! So many different varieties to choose from! I went for the blue cheese and the peppercorn loaded fries. The burger was beautiful! So succulent and full of flavour! Can't wait to return to try a different flavour next time!
