Rude! We went into the place after going on a speedboat river trip. We were going for lunch and hot drinks but the lady was really rude demanded we order before we got a table so we left. Terrible attitude absolutely no customer service. Would not recommend it. Unless you enjoy abuse!

I ordered a pint of Lemonade, and was served Sparkling Water with a slice of Lemon. I took it back to the bar tender and she was not willing to serve me Lemonade and argued that my drink was lemonade. I explained that it was sparkling water with a slice of lemonade and showed me that the pump with the various buttons said L. I asked if I could have my drink changed for another and she then pored a glass of coke and wanted to charge me for this to my surprise and I refused. In the end we leave the drink (spring water) and leave. Obviously not happy, more importantly we were walking for hours before that and only wanted to have a nice refreshing drink and sit for a bit, spoil our moment and caused unnecessary upset.

We have had the best night with Simba and Micheal in this bar they have looked after us so well best bar in London with these guys so happy we came will come again!! Only if these 2 are working amazing !!! Bonus needed keep these guy’s amazing!!

Apres Wimbledon drinks with Simba and Mitchel. The most best time with these great hosts. After a 4am wake up call we ended up here after a long day queuing. Drinks were most needed. Sim Abba and Mitchell were like amaze balls. Def coming back just to see them

We visited the Hungerford House Bar and Kitchen in 2019 - it got us out of a huge rainstorm and the food and bar offerings were wonderful. On our latest visit, we saw lots of little tables outside in front of the establishment for bar service, but they said they had closed their kitchen about six months ago, so we ended up having lunch somewhere else.

Asked to go to the restroom, I said I will pay for it. They said its for customers only so I asked for Guinness beer. They put ON PURPOSE the guinness in a way it was undrinkable (100 percent foam) and asked for 8 euros. We will never go to this place again.

These guys worked so hard during the Jubilee pageant. The lone bar manager was friendly and polite. We had lovely open sandwiches. A special shout out to the doorman who valiantly and politely held off folks trying to borrow the loo without purchasing!!!

We booked a table on Friday night before going to an event - as you'd expect, it was a pretty loud bar but we were still able to hear each other, just! The menu is pretty limited, but all the food is really good. What stands out, though, is the service - really friendly barman/waiter who made our visit just lovely. We'd come here again based on the service alone.

Ive been invited to this amazing event which were held at Hungerford house, and let me tell you perfect place, very cozy, nice songs, nice drinks. the snakcs?! Woow just by thinking about it i get hungry. Perfect place and i really recomend it. One last thing.... what chairs was that??? So sophisticated and chick ❤

I just had the most amazing experience at the Hungerford House. I hosted my event for 70 women yesterday and I have to say: Every single thing, from the service to the food and drinks was PERFECT! If you are looking for an amazing place to host a party, to have some drinks and eat a delicious food that’s the place. Thank you so much for everything The evening was enchanting, we all absolutely enjoyed it and will come back soon. Highly recommended!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good location right next to Embankment Tube Station but the menu is limited and the food is just uninspiring. A bit more tapas than anything, small plates a theme. My hot food order was cold and it took a long time to correct it, especially considering there were only 2 tables being used. Nice bar staff but clearly not in step with the kitchen and had no ability to get stuff out.

Staff very attentive and food surprisingly yummy, a great spot for an after work visit on the way home

I'm from Ireland and I've been working in London quite a bit lately, my husband came over to visit for a few days and we were about to get the train home from embankment and seen this lovely little bar next door, facing the river and the London Eye on one side, the top of St Paul's I think to the other... we decided to stop for one.... It ended up quite a few more. Reason being was the warm, friendly, welcoming staff and service.. A real effort was made to make us feel welcome, they were great fun, dancing and making an effort to ensure we were happy and being served. The music was good, the Guinness was great and it was handy to the trainstation. Special thanks to Christian, yuri and stefania! Highly recommended!

You have to order over the counter. It took longer than expected to arrive all 4 meals, then 2 chicken plates were raw. We went it back.

Have just waited 20mins for a cocktail which hasn’t arrived. Just one bar man making cocktails on a Saturday..... on an obvious Hen Party and 3 of us didn’t even receive the drinks. Don’t waste your time!

Came for a family meal and was surprised at the good food. Definitely 10% better than expectations and would recommend. Keep the quality at this level and this could stay a little gem. Decor and service very good too.

Went there for the London Marathon and had a good fish and chip lunch only £6. Good value for money in London. Right next door to the Embankment underground station and millennium bridge. Would definitely go again.
