Amazing staff. They are always so helpful and patient and never rush and the prices are affordable It is an amazing place to eat if you want to support a local business or you just want to grab down food after you have been to carsington water or somewhere else like dovedale if you head back this way

This is tucked round the side of a fairly run down looking garage/shop, so don’t be put off. We popped in when passing in the hope of getting some bacon & eggs for breakfast tomorrow. It sells a small selection of things- & no bacon today, but we treated ourselves to some cake from the take away counter, and it was great. They advertise breakfast baps, so I think we’ll be back in the morning!

Very nice quality bacon and sausage cobs, with good choice of add ons such as black pudding, egg, mushrooms for a reasonable price. Will be happy to visit again for brwakfast. The cakes and other produce also looked really nice.

I have called in a couple of times recently, there are new owners running the shop. Apart from being a great little shop, with lovely staff, I have sampled the best pork pies and sausage rolls around, they also sell Nespresso coffee.

Really lovely food, you wouldn't know it from the outside/inside - it's like any other pub but the food was really good. Had the best dessert - rice pudding with apple and nuts - to die for.

We started our day here and enjoyed a light bite choice off the menu and a drink, the place was really cozy and funky, had a good selection of food and drink on offer and I would happily visit again. The food cost us £19 and a large wine & pint came to £11
