Decided to order a takeaway this evening from Hugomangos. Best decisions we've taken this month, without doubt. Every meal was superb. Made with the finest ingredients and utterly delicious and filling. Well done Hugomangos, will definitely return as regulars.

Finally a decent takeaway in Abingdon. Really enjoyed the food, will be getting again. Everything was well packaged and tasted freshly made, great flavours.

Very good food, the vegetarian option was fantastic. However incredibly expensive, which stops me going back more regularly than I would want to.

What can we say but wow. From the nicest delivery driver to the food. What a flavour explosion. By far the best takeaway we have ever had. The coconut rice is a must for anyone. Will defo be making this a regular thing.

Use to be our go to Thai! After tonight’s meals we will not be returning. Pad Thai was terrible, Beef Panang was watery and incredibly dry and chewy. Not what you expect when paying in excess of £60 for a takeaway for 2 people!

Once brilliant, now below average. Whoever you had as your chef about 2 years ago was amazing and should be brought back! Your previously delicious, fall off the bone tender lamb massaman is now watery beef curry/stew, with a few burnt peanuts thrown in. The beef was at least tender when you first changed from lamb (why did you?? Cost...?), now it's tough and chewy braising steak I guess... Pad Thai has hardly any spring onions, or other toppings in it either. Again, once delicious, now disappointing. Will go back to Chaba Thai instead until things improve. Please do bring the quality back - you were so good before!

Terrible service, will not be ordering from here again. £140 order made three hours in advance and was accepted only to be messaged 3hrs later that it would be an 1h30 late with barely an apology. If you can't accept an order, don't accept it! Certainly don't just leave people hanging.

Great Thai food and very welcoming people!

One of the best Thai restaurants I have tried and definitely the best in abingdon. The dim sum is full of prawns. All dishes ingredients are always fresh and incredibly tasty plus they can make the spice lever to your liking.

Fully deserves 5 stars absolutely delicious authentic food will definitely order again.

Really good takeaway during lockdown

Definitely the best thai food I've had. The thai curries are to die for. I recommend uping the heat levels as they would traditionally in Thailand. Service is always perfect and these guys have nailed the transition from restaurant to delivery and collection during lockdown. Their app is very easy to use. Recently they have made their portions bigger too which is a great bonus. Hugomango thank you for that special treat something to smile about during lockdown.

The best Thai EVER!! I love Hugo Mangos food SO much. The restaurant is very cosy and clean and the food is delicious! I often get a takeaway from them which you can order via the app and the the food always taste just as delicious. The portion size is so good and packed with flavours. I honestly cant recommend their food enough! All of my family love it!

Fantastic Thai restaurant and takeaway! The paneng curry is without a doubt one of the most delicious curries, I have tasted and is now a firm favourite order each time. Delivery / ordering online is via their app (unfortunately they stopped the online ordering via the browser), but is intuitive and delivery is very swift. The service is impeccable - there was a very long delay on a delivery and the owner kept us uptodate via SMS and offered a free meal as an apology!

Food was great but the lid was not on our order probably and spilt sauce into the paper bag which then dropped all of our order all over the floor. Called 5 times and no answer, not impressed, will be the last time I order.

Food was good but the service was dreadful. It was my daughter's 16th birthday meal and they forgot about her order. We finished our meal and then they brought hers out but not exactly what she had ordered. Takeaway service is much better.

This was our first visit. Absolutely delicious food! We had Green Thai curry and Pad Thai and both were amazing! Thank you x

Used to love this place even though the portion sizes were not the biggest (arguably even a bit small) but now after lock down they almost doubled their prizes. A slight increase in prize would be understandable but this is way too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately this put me off (14.99 for vegetable chilli and basil, £6.50 for 4 spring rolls is far too much). Please take this as constructive criticism, the food is lovely but the prize increase is excessive and has forced me to look elsewhere. I want to come back.. Please be more realistic.

Generally nice food but they do make you wait .....

Had a great takeaway delivered this week, was delicious and really cheered me up during these difficult times. Definitely one of the best meals I've had during the lockdown.

Hugo in this hour of need and crisis you are taking the perverbial, hiking your prices to an obscene level taking advantage of the situation..... i went through the same memu choive I buy any other Sunday for £60+ now it was £80+ you lost me as a customer chaps sorry. Not a good time to profiteer, so sounding you out, ps I didn't purchase..... Good luck.

Love the food here, never been let down. I'm a Pad Thai Chicken man... Can be slightly cramped downstairs with people coming and going and can also lead to slight delay in service. I also preferred the previous name. Will be back.

Avoid the Thai fish cakes, far too oily. The chicken noodle soup was good though - I went with a spice level of 7 (recommended is 5) but didn't find it too hot.

The food is amazing, the place is cozy and the service very pleasant!

A nice little Thai Restaurant in Abingdon well worth a visit

Don't be put off by some of the negative reviews below, their food is amazing. (I have only had take away food, so can't comment on the table service). Take away is fast and efficient. I do think they should rethink their menu layout though.

Small cosy place but lovely food

Food was quite good but the upstairs was beginning to look tired and have signs of lack of maintenance. Place needs some investment as I felt it detracted from the charm of the place. Service was quick despite being very busy, well done.

If you like greasy food, and vegetables soaked in so much oil you could lube a tractor with it this is for you . Service was rubbish too. SWERVE THIS ONE IF I WERE YOU !

Food was good, reasonably tasty, vegetable portions on the small side.

Excellent food although I found the menu a bit of getting used to. Unfortunately they were short staffed so we had quite a long wait. But at least they only opened the downstairs bit of the restaurant so they could cope. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars as I couldn't fault the food. I will definitely go again

Not impressed with new menu, very limited choice from when it was Zabb Thai, and very expensive for having food in carboard pots and boxes, it wax like having a takeaway but you ate inthe restautant, don't think we will be going again.

Simply not good enough. Quality was poor, 40% of my duck dish was fat. The sauces for both of us were sickly, and at £40 for two persons with one soft drink each only we do not consider good value. Will not return.

Sat in the upstairs area, which was quiet. The floors and menus were sticky and overall cleanliness can be improved. The food was quite good, however the service was extremely slow and poor and we felt like staff had forgotten about us. Beer is also very expensive

Horrid upstairs.dark and dingy. Expensive for what you get, although the food is ok. It was a LOT better a few years ago. Won't go back. Also charged for drinks we didn't have and service was very poor

The food here is full of flavour and the restaurant has a cosy feel to it. Service is slow at busy times because of the take aways which is a shame.

Zaabs is up there with my favourite restaurants in the Oxfordshire area, to eat in and get take away. The food is always delicious and very fresh. It is pricy but worth every penny for the quality. The restaurant is small but beautiful. Staff are always friendly and helpful, even when busy

Food was ok (rather than memorable), but the delays before being served were rather longer than anticipated. Maybe it was a particularly busy Saturday night, but it might be best not to anticipate prompt service.

This used to be very good . Must have new chef. Crispy squid soggy , crispy chicken cold and oily. Rice not as described . We live close to town so it should have been piping hot . I've been to Thailand and this was appalling. We will never go back .

This is the best Thai i've had since I moved to Oxford, and trust me I have eaten my far share at all the different Thai restaurants in the Oxford area. The food is exceptional and honetly can't recommend it enough unless I go to one that I haven't been to yet and tops this but hard to see how it would. Even my wife who is from Australia says this is really really good Thai. It's pricey but worth it!

Gentili i camerieri ma le porzioni di cibo davvero esigue e il prezzo alto:spiedini di pollo grigliati(non molto gustosi) e gamberi (mazzancolle, non gamberoni imperiali, come dicono nel menu...), riso (colloso) e 1 birra per 25 pound e, ripeto, non porzioni abbondanti. Da non tornare.

Brilliant small restaurant. Service can be slow because of small number of staff but the staff are really nice and the small, quaint atmosphere more than makes up for it. Best pad Thai around this area!! ❤️

Went for dinner this Friday just gone (31st Oct) the ground floor was fully booked with witches and other ghouls from Halloween partying! Seated upstairs with the old wonky floors. Lovely food and fantastic service despite being so busy. My ribs were a little cold but I suspect that was because they were so busy. Fantastic looking forward to going again.

As good as Thai orchid we'll worth a visit.
