Huffkins in Cotswold

Very pleasant cafe with good food and service. Fairly expensive - yes, but I did have 4 cups of tea from my pot and they willingly supplied a second teabag. My cheese pastry was delicious and came with a few crisps, chutney and a little salad.

A tad over priced but was clean .

Visited the Moreton shop as previously been to Stratford. Same results, afternoon tea superb, great choice of sandwiches and lovely too, ample to eat, very accommodating. Best afternoon tea by far, highly recommended Huffkins.

Having been given a voucher as a present from my son, myself and daughter went to huffkins at moreton in the marsh today for afternoon tea, would just like to thank you for the most amazing afternoon tea, all the food was so lovely and so much of it all! would definitely reccomend it 💯 and we will definitely be going back there again, all staff were so nice helpful and very polite

Stopped by for a coffee on the way back from our honeymoon. Staff were absolutely wonderful and really looked after us. The coffee was delicious and our puppy was given a bowl of water. Will definitely return if in the area 😊

Visited last Saturday and really enjoyed the delicious carrot cake. The staff were welcoming and made the experience even better. A cozy and inviting place, would definitely recommend.

Huffkins is a cosy café on the High Street and a real gem. The server was welcoming, attentive, and courteous. I had the Cotswold cream tea, swapping the tea for a latte, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scone was fresh out of the oven and absolutely delicious. A lovely spot with excellent service!

Had a makeover since our last visit but still as lovely as ever 😁

I choose this tea shop as it looked cute and the staff seemed very nice. However the wafer thin slice of carrot cake my husband was given today was absolutely shocking! When he returned to the table with it i just couldn't believe it, it must have been only a centimetre thick and it wasn't cheap either! He said it was delicious and lucky it was ! We certainly won't be returning here unless the staff want to get in touch to offer him the other ¾s of his slice.

Purchased a soy latte with gingerbread and a gingerbread man biscuit very impressed by the friendliness of staff and the excellent coffee and biscuit definitely visit again or in Stratford upon Avon again 💋

A lovely little cosy cafe on the high street - the perfect spot to take shelter from the wind and rain! Excellent coffee and huge selection of cakes, pastries and breakfast & brunch choices. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was very quick too. We will definitely be back again to try the classic brunch for two!

Afternoon tea in here was great. The lady who served us and arranged it was brilliant. Really friendly and flexible, offering us changes to the menu offering to cater to some fussy tastes. Many thanks, the food and service were amazing. You do get plenty of food, we took some back from our visit.

We had coffee with scones, jam and cream. (We are jam first people, by the way). Service was efficient coffee and scones were good.

Arrived a bit late for sit down service. The staff was willing to let us buy pasties to take away, but said they couldn't warm them up. We spent £16 and they couldn't be bothered to turn on the microwave for 20 seconds.

We had a small snack there. Everything OK.

This was our 2nd visit in as many days, the previous day we went to the Stow shop. Both visits as good as each other. Food was delicious, the Cornish pasty was best I’ve had served with lettuce and crisps just scrumptious totally scrumptious! And lovely big tea pot with delicious tea. The service was perfect in both stores. BUT I signed up to the Huffkins website, enticed by ‘£5 off the next order’-which is why we visited the next day, only there was a catch (as usual!) and the money off is only valid online-it doesn’t say that.

The place to be when in picturesque Moreton in marsh and looking for some good food at tea time. Warm Lardy cake was delicious, so was the cappuccino. Friendly staff, bright, nice, lightflooded interiour made my short stay here a special one. Got one of their nice shopping bags right away and a second one when I left. Just to keep the good memory alive when being back in Germany.

We dropped in for coffee, tea and scones on a busy market day. The caf÷ is bright and cheery, the service prompt and cheerful, and the scones were superior. Happy to be here.

The maple and bacon pancakes are AMAZING. Cannot recommend Huffkins enough based on the pancakes alone. To top it all, the staff are lovely and it is such a welcoming atmosphere. There is also WiFi so is a great spot to get some work done.

Free wifi and water. Dogs are welcome. There is a kids menu as well. Ample seating inside and garden seating in the back. Bathroom in the back near the garden. Very friendly service.

We stopped in for lunch while waiting to check into our hotel. The tea service for two was exceptional and much more food than we were expecting! When I’ve had “high tea” in the US, it consists of tiny bites of various foods. This was 4 full sandwiches (which were average in taste, nothing exceptional), two large scones with delicious clotted cream and jam, one full size Victoria sponge, one large chocolate eclair, one large strawberry eclair, and two slices of lemon loaf. The Cotswolds fruit tea was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The back garden was nice - typical pub garden with green grass and nice picnic tables. Highly recommend, especially for a scone with clotted cream!

THIS PLACE DOES NOT TAKE CASH!!! Service was passable, but I asked for our sandwiches on Granary bread, and they came on white rolls. The step at the entrance would preclude a self-propelled wheelchair user, but my father was okay on his folding walker. The toilets are out back and over rough slabs. Clean enough though.

Nice place to meet a friend for lunch. We enjoyed a coffee and something savoury. The gluten free options weren't immediately obvious. We had a nice time. Toilets were clean.

Very sticky Chelsea buns and great scones

Had afternoon tea, plenty of lovely food, choice of sandwiches, scone was warm and fluffy on the inside. Ellie served us, she was friendly, polite and very helpful. Krystal made the food today, thank you, we really enjoyed it, even brought some home! Wonderful experience and will definitely go back.

The place is charming. The service is pleasant but the afternoon tea is not the best. The sandwiches and pastries are pretty gross. We can take leftovers to go and it’s really good.

Everything was fine although we thought it was a bit expensive , but I guess that is the Cotswold Premium.

Arrived at the cafe at 3.20 ish on recommendations from our in-laws Who have visited before. Today we were disappointed- we asked if we could sit in the window. Most tables we could see were dirty with cups and plates. So we asked if we could sit there so that table could be cleaned so we could sit. We waited it didn’t happen. I ordered our cakes and hot drinks, I asked for cold water. She said it’s help your self from the dispenser which was empty she said she would refill- it never got refilled. Once ordered we sat down on the dirty table in the window and still waited for it to be cleaned. It wasn’t - she then came out with a tray of our cakes and drinks and started placing them On the dirty table. Once she placed our cakes and drinks she then took the dirty stuff away. Th table was dirty too luckily with having children I had baby wipes to hand and cleaned my own table. The food was ok- my eldest is gluten free and he had a scone, my partner had a pasty and he said it was ok. But nothing special For the price. A shame the customer service wasn’t the best either- not particularly friendly. While we sat there 3 groups of more than 4 people in there parties of customers came in and they were turned away at 3.45 saying they were shutting at 4.30. That’s a 45 minute window. Maybe a loss of £100+ People were turned away quiet rudely - maybe your staff need to learn some customer service. It also states on your website you shut at 5 so maybe that needs updating.

I was a party of four + dog. My breakfast poached egg sandwich was perfect. My wife and daughter wasn’t happy with theirs as it had too much butter on the sourdough toast. They didn’t like to say anything. Bought cakes the day before , top Notch especially the croissants with crème patisserie I will ve back .

Visited yesterday for a Cotswold cream tea (scone with jam and cream and pot of tea). This was probably the nicest scone I’ve ever had! It was warm, fluffy and delicious. The staff were really helpful, friendly, and polite and didn’t rush us to leave, even though they had closed before we had quite finished. A lovely cafe!

A lovely tea shop on the High St. I sat outside the front on the limited pavement seating. The staff were lovely and the food well presented. The pasty was though expensive and there was no wow factor. The ice bun was heavy and sticky. The coffee was delicious. Would return but not spend so much.

We are a complicated group with multiple allergies/sensitivities and the ladies at Huffkins were so wonderful and accommodating. They made so many changes to our orders, double checked with us on the modifications and all (three) of them, ensured we were comfortable with how it was all cooked, prepared and served. So wonderful.

Sara was so friendly, welcoming, kind and accommodating! She was able to get us a table by the window for afternoon tea. The sandwiches, scones, and pastries were delicious! The tea was delightful! We loved everything about our afternoon here!

This is an amazing place, with incredibly hard working, professional and extremely courteous staff. After a stressful day they were the perfect de-stressor and the food was incredibly good. Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic staff and food at the Moreton branch. We were staying in the area and visited several times, each time the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. I use a wheelchair and we had a wet soggy dog with us and each time we were greeted with big smiles and lots of offers of help both with the dog and the wheelchair. Lovely spacious building so that I never felt in the way in the slightest which can be an issue in smaller establishments. We sampled a variety of pastries, cakes and hot drinks and they were all first class hence the reason we went back several times. A special shout out to Sarah, a very happy and helpful lady who clearly enjoys her job. Thank you .

Sarah makes the best coffee. She could teach the chains a thing or two about how not to serve burnt coffee. And the cakes are just yum. Chocolate éclair was perfect. Oh, and the coffee was decaf, oat milk with a vanilla shot (latte). Perfect. Thank you Sarah 😊

Lovely atmospheric friendly cafe with delicious sandwiches and cakes. Coronation chicken was my favourite! Sarah was really friendly and we were able to relax and chat in a cosy corner on a cold January day even up.to closing time no rush to have to leave. Would recommend!

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at Huffkins today. Sandwiches were fresh and generously filled and drinks were piping hot. The cafe was very clean and 10/10 for the staff were cheerful, attentive and efficient. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely visit next time we’re in the area.

Lovely little place. Visited here with my dad when passing through on our way home to Doncaster. The cheese and tomato chutney toastie was morish. Will be visiting again in a fortnight when passing through from Doncaster 🤗

As we walked in the door we were greeted immediately and shown to a table, service was excellent, as was the atmosphere. Best oat flat white I’ve had in years and Sarah was just fabulous - made everyone feel welcome.

Had a delicious toasted sandwich 🥪 which came with side salad and crisps. Also, tasty cake !

Lovely clean cafe where we only wanted coffee but were made very welcome and shown to a better area when eight other family members joined us. Good service. But what I would like to award double stars to is the toilet - all aspects of the facility within the room and beautifully clean. So much so I persuaded my partner he needed to use it just to see it! I wish all establishments had such first class toilet provision.

Popped in on a freezing day for a coffee hot chocolate cake and a warm we were not disappointed it was a wonderful experience!

Overall a bland cafe experience, with overpriced food. We had a number of issues with our visit too. The order was taken incorrectly, and received a wrong item. To be fair, this was quickly replaced with the correct item. They stated to have refunded the difference back to my card, but no evidence of that on my statement yet. Next issue, the kids toastie was made with a crusty bread roll (and not much cheese) and was very dry and too hard to chew for a young child. The menu stated it was supposed to be made with granary bread. When asked, they seemed confused by their own menu stating they always made it with a roll. Anyway, to be fair again, they did make another one on granary bread which was much more suitable for a young child, and ours did enjoy it. The food generally was nothing special, and especially for the price! Of particullar note was a jacket potato for £12 that was barely done, with only a smidgen of beans and cheese. Finally, by the end of a salad, we found something blue (looked a bit like blue cleaning cloth) stuck to a piece of onion. (goodness knows how much of the cloth we'd already eaten!) but by this point we couldn't be bothered to raise yet another issue with the staff... So just left and vowed not to return to Huffkins. There are much better cafes nearby.

The take out service was way too slow. I waited (standing) for nearly 15 minutes. Hot food was presented in a cake box when it needed to be wrapped in a foil lined bag or similar to keep warm. I got back to my office in 4 minutes by which time it was cold.

Card payment only and the bank takes their cut. No old people with cash welcome.

Excellent artisan Tea Shop. A Warm welcome, beautiful display of freshly baked cakes and pastries, clean and fresh design, love the comfy seating and black & white imagery on the walls. Very attentive and friendly service. They have a ‘Scone Fest’ special on at the moment with some gorgeous and unusual flavours such as cheese & marmite, cherry & almond! The scones were warm and light and we loved the flavour of the house blend tea. How fortunate are we to be visiting all the way from Yorkshire and find, to our delight, another new Huffkins Tea Shop in this pretty town! We’ll be back 🥰

Not enough staff ..... waited quite a while for 2 teas and a coffee and was disappointed with the Belgium buns which were well overpriced.

More expensive than other coffee shops in the town. Unfortunately the quality of the toasted sandwiches is not reflected in the inflated price. Poor quality bread, little effort in presentation, very average filling. Obviously charge as much as possible to passing tourists , but much better quality and value available elsewhere in the town. Well presented,clean toilets but now I know why it was not very busy. No menu on display outside - I wonder why!

Because of the way they've set up the dine in it doesn't feel like huffkins wants to interact with it's customers. It doesn't feel like it has that personal touch due to the want of the customer to use the app to order your food and not having the option of the waiter /waitress coming to attend to your order.

Wizard place for tea, cakes, and dogs. Sarah and the rest of the crew made us feel really welcome. Made big fuss of Inca our border collie. Great welcome, staff and service !

Unmemorable coffee however high pricing. Sausage sandwich was unsatisfactory with no additions than a basic sauce to side. Place looks very attractive and service was lovely however.

Didn’t stay after reading the ‘very low gluten’ scone is absolutely ridiculous. ANY amount of gluten for a celiac or wheat intolerance can mean days or weeks of pain, either offer gluten free or don’t.

We had a delightful vegan scone and tea at your tea room and Sarah was unbelievably lovely to us. Thanks so much.

Came here for a quick bite to eat. Wanted to pick somewhere that was quiet and didn't have too many customers. I walked by this café and saw that it was virtually empty, I was about to see why. I noticed that the prices were ridiculously high, obviously overpriced for tourists like myself coming here by train. I chose to have a single sausage roll which I asked to be heated up. Heating up a sausage roll took them over 5 minutes. I work in a restaurant and I know that it should only be heated up for around 1 minute. As a result, not only did I have to wait around a while, but the sausage roll was also too hot to eat when it was given to me. And to top it all off, the sausage roll itself was quite bland, it barely had any flavour which means I completely wasted my money. If I ever return to the Cotswolds, I will make sure to never visit a Huffkins branch ever again.

Had a great experience here this afternoon. We only went in for a sandwich to share and a cup of tea each. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and even arranged for the sandwich to be split over 2 plates. Every thing was served with courtesy and a great smile, and enough tea to float a battle ship! Great service ;well done and thank you.

Nice coffee, but almond croissant and belgian bun tough as old boots and too much sweet stuff on top.

Why dont they take cash! Most annoying waited 30 mins for food had to remind waitor which left us 10 mins before coach left stood in rain to wait for toilet nevrr again!

Lovely garden in back. We stopped for coffee, tea and scones both sweet and savoury. Very nice on a sunny day.
