Absolutely sensational. Came with my wife and was really well looked after by our very knowledgeable waitresses, she recommended some amazing cocktails and helped us choose our steaks which were beautifully cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Although a taxi may be required £7.00 from the centre it’s well worth the effort as it’s a Resturant that lives up to all expectations from the minute you step in the door of this small establishment The decor is smart and the place clean and well cared for The staff are outstandingly friendly and efficient and then there’s the food sublime steaks cooked to perfection on hot plates ✔️that’s always a clear indicator Would highly recommend a visit and will most certainly be doing so myself Congratulations to the team at Hudsons my wife, daughter and I had a great time

No starter, straight to the mains. I've been here a few times before and always came away more than satisfied with the quality of the food and service however, this evening meal was reflected in the service gratitude I left on the table. £1. The steak lacked flavour, no seasoning, The vegetables, no seasoning The potato dish was hot by the amount of pepper it had on. Reheated from Saturday The desert, refured to as the pudding menu. The desert was accompanied with tinned strawberry and something green??? No cheese!!! Very average to poor on this occasion

Superb restaurant. Everything about our experience was flawless: the service was very good with friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere is relaxed but dining experience sophisticated, and the food was simply fantastic. The steaks are cooked to perfection and you have to have their truffle chips!

Excellent meal on Saturday evening. Great starters with a really tasty mackerel pate. This was followed by the main event being rib-eye and sirloin steaks. Both were excellently cooked with well sized sides. My only regret is I didn’t have room for a side and had to make do with a limoncello. Service was exceptional with great recommendations and smiles all round. Worth a visit if you are in Bath.

The food was amazing, steaks that are cooked toperfection and melt in your mouth. Staff were all lovely in every area, from those cooking, to waiting staff and even those passed on stairs on way to loo. All attentive and made us feel special.

This was a birthday treat, and if a treat is what you're after, you won't be disappointed with Hudson Steakhouse. Great steaks, well cooked and in relaxing surroundings, served by welcoming staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back next time we're in Bath. Highly recommended.

Consistently my go to place for a special occasion fabulous steak - (they do other great food too. But for me it’s always steak) never disappointed been coming since it opened so at least 15 years - always delivers grea food and service - love it here

This is the best steakhouse in Bath. The food is always unbelievably tasty- perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I have never had a disappointing meal there and I look forward to it every time I go. All side dishes are just delicious and everything is always so well seasoned. The wine list and cocktails are wonderful and the bartender always makes such gorgeous drinks, even if not on the menu. The service is amazing, staff are really attentive and welcoming. Not the cheapest place, but worth every penny for how wonderful the food is. I love the atmosphere in Hudsons; cosy and warm and a lovely date night spot. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent steak frites, great value as we had the early evening offer. Steak , frites sauce and a glass of wine for £23. FAB. The waiters were also great and made me laugh .

Bath residents know Hudsons serve delicious food, it has always had a great reputation! so we went last night to celebrate my birthday and had a terrific time. We had a warm welcome from Harry behind the bar who was so lovely.. we were off to a great start!..next was Hannah who showed us to our table upstairs which was next to a roaring fire..super cosy! She was a delight..very bubbly and full of smiles. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Anna, another fantastic member of staff who treated us like old friends and gave great attentive service..wow! what a crew! the food was the consistent standard of excellence Bath peeps have come to expect..the kitchen staff are really talented..all dishes tasted amazing...it was a memorable evening and totally faultless..a huge thanks to everyone at Hudsons who made it happen x

Lovely staff, quick service to begin with (before they have to send the order to the kitchen, then a very reasonable wait time); good selection of drinks and the steaks were spectacular. We are big fans of steakhouses but were both quite impressed with this place. Cosy atmosphere, THE most delicious and perfectly cooked truffle parmesan fries and potato dauphinoise and definitely the herb garlic sauce will be virtually inhaled as it is almost as good as the steaks :))

Couldn’t be worse staff terrible and is just as good and McDonald’s price is throw the roof and made it so hard to book and re book as we needed to change

The steak here is absolutely amazing. We have been in the UK 3 weeks and this was by far the best we have had. Dessert was amazing also. The service from our waiter was pleasant but not really friendly or welcoming this was the only thing that dropped it to a 4.

Excellent! The steaks were amazing, we really enjoyed our evening here. We didn't get starters, just mains and desserts and a couple of drinks, but we didn't feel rushed in any way and service was outstanding. Will definitely be back next time we are in Bath!

Will reserve judgement on the Restaurant. Maybe not a good night so will give the benefit of doubt. Starter excellent but Restaurant became busy.

Came here last year with friends and haven’t gotten round to reviewing it yet. I’m going to keep my review short and sweet… AMAZING. I have dined at some of the ‘Top’ steakhouses in the country: Goodmans, Hawksmoor, Maze, Macellaio and this place beats all of them in every single category. If you’re in the area and looking for a nice meal in a nice restaurant with great service and amazing food don’t hesitate to book this place.

Service good but rushed went early but for a full meal not early bird deal should make a difference ! Sides and the Steak really over seasoned to the point we could not taste the meat for both of us. Not impressed for the price at all. On the up atmosphere is good

we were really excited to eat here after seeing it was voted top 3 in the country for a steakhouse, then the window when we get there says best on the country, then the a sign outside says top 5. so not sure which one it is. when we got there the staff were not overly friendly it was very dark in there, the tables are very run down and in need of a bit of work. the whole place looked a bit untidy. breadsticks on the table made the tables look very messy. there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and still the service was pretty poor. i had prawns which were cooked from frozen and not great if i’m honest. the steaks looked cremated but in all fairness it was so dark in their you couldn’t really tell. the steak quality was average at best and was not seasoned at all, the fries and potatoes were barely cooked. all in all it was not a great experience. the next day we noticed there was a miller and carter in Bath. so when we go back to bath we will definitely eat there. The Hudson is by far not in the top 50 in the country in our eyes. very expensive and very disappointing. i will say the presentation on the starters was lovely it’s just a shame the taste didn’t match. and for a supposed amazing restaurant, as you can tell by the pictures it was empty. not suprised after the rude waitress sad good luck to us getting a taxi. so helpful.

Firstly, this was already our favourite restaurant in Bath. It seems to be even more popular than before unprecedented times, we got a 9pm slot! This visit however, was just wonderful.The food is incredible, and I love the way they serve bearnase sauce in little fried shells! I had the tiger prawns with my steak for the first time - delicious and complimented the rib eye.Staff friendly and not over effusive/always checking.A lovely evening.

Wonderful food but let down by a very rude male member of staff. I wish I’d have the confidence to ask for his name but he made us feel very unwelcome. The food is out fo this world, the service needs improving.

My boyfriend and I came to bath for a couple of days. I noticed that this restaurant had amazing reviews so we booked it for our visit. We were really pleased with not only the food, but the service was incredible too. The waitress’ were so kind and helpful. Such amazing steaks and cocktails - really recommend!

This place was recommended to us by someone we know and we can see why they would recommend. We enjoyed a main and a dessert each. The steak was possibly one of the best we have both had. Truly well cooked. We had the potato dauphinois and some green beans on the side. Wine was also really great. Would return if we happen to be back in bath again

We booked on-line but could only get an early table, 1730. However, this meant we were ablate select the Early Bird special, which was Flat Iron Steak, with chips and a glass of wine.The steal was cooked perfectly, was tender and a lot of it. Came for a meal during a short trip to Bath on the recommendation of the place we were staying and Hudson didn’t disappoint. Easily the best steak I’ve ever had and overall a fantastic experience. The staff were incredible, couldn’t be more attentive. The evening was genuinely one of the best experiences dining out I’ve ever had. Both myself and my partner are in the hospitality industry and to have the opportunity to eat out ourselves is a rarity so to be blown away with the level of service and quality of food was so lovely. I’d recommend Hudson to everyone.

Having searched around came across this steak house just on the outskirts of town and what a find. Really good atmosphere, superb food and service. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Definitely five star in every department. Will be back.

We went to Hudsons after it being recommended as one of the better restaurants in Bath as we are here on holiday.. I booked this about a month in advance as it seemed to be very popular. 48 hours before I had to change the day due to recovering from a cold so put it back to Saturday evening instead of Friday. This appeared to be no problem however.We arrived at Hudsons and said that we had a reservation which was just met with a smug "that was yesterday mate" I explained that it was originally but we called to change the date, the waitress who I beleive I spoke to on the phone rushed over and said that it was yesterday but she would see if she could fit me in (even though I was read out the new booking time for 24 hours later on the phone - potentially my booking was forgotten to be ammeneded?). We were then told it would be OK and taken to our table. It was a very hot day and the restaurant was rather warm and slightly uncomfortable and would benefit from some sort of air conditioning (for staff as well as diners!). The decor inside does seem a bit dated and the chairs and tables could possible be updated just to give the restaurant a bit more character?I ordered the Rib Eye and my girlfriend ordered the flat iron steak and we both did thoroughly enjoy our food and the steak was perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. We also ordered the sides of dauphinoise potatos and French fries. These also were both very nice but my only suggestion would be to have smaller portions and offer them as a personal side as apposed to "sides to share" but this may be more beneficial to larger groups I can imagine. Our waitress Anna (I beleive) was very helpful and very attentive I also ordered a wine but asked if I could have it with my meal which she brought out as soon as my food arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Overall the food was very enjoyable it was just let down by the initial unwelcoming and also the decor was slightly soulless. I don't think I would rush back to Hudsons if I'm honest.

Waitresses seemed prickly and insincere.There was a popcorn kernel in the middle of my dessert which was unpleasant and should easily have been spotted had due care and attention been paid during the preparation.The steak was good but the food was generally overpriced and I found the addition of a tip to my bill without my asking to be cheeky and distasteful. Forcing me to either cough up or embarrass my company, effectively strong-arming me into paying a tip for service I didn't enjoy.

This was one of the best meals we had in Bath. The food was nothing short of outstanding, and the service was absolutely lovely. It reminded me of the film Simply Irresistible where the patrons are completely mesmorised by the food as its so delicious and clearly cooked with a lot of love and skill. We had 3 courses and everything was absolute perfection. We will certainly be coming back and so glad that we paid them a visit.

A lovely little steakhouse slightly outside the city center, but still within an easy 15 min stroll. Lovely friendly quick service. Both starters were good, but the mains of steak were absolutely the star of the show. Both cooked to perfection.

We live in Bath and consider Hudson's one of the best restaurants in town--definitely the best for steak! I'd like them to bring back the luscious Caesar salad with maple bacon lardons, but otherwise, it's a superlative experience, with excellent steak, a strong wine list, and good service.

Lovely ambience in here, looks small from the outside but has an upstairs too. Great service in here. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, steak was delicious and cooked perfectly.

We had a family meal for my daughters birthday, we will definitely return. The steaks were AMAZING, also the sides are very delicious. The only negative I would say is the starters and mains don't quite match the quality of the main , they were nice but could be better .

This was our first visit to Hudson after years of wanting to book but with COVID and busy schedules we only were able to get a table now. We were really looking forward to an incredible dinner, especially as the restaurant is rated one of the top steak houses in the UK... unfortunately we were left a little disappointed. If you are going for steak ONLY then sure the steaks are cooked fantastically and the quality of meat is top notch, the sides of truffle fries and peppercorn sauces were also incredible.However... as a top steak restaurant you expect the full picture and for them to excel in all aspects of food and service, and unfortunately this really let them down. We ordered the starters of focaccia and oils, and mozzarella and tomatoes. The focaccia was horrendously dry and had absolutely no seasoning (we used a huge amount of salt to try and make it more interesting). The mozzarella was fairly disappointing too, with just a few bits torn up and scattered across some tomatoes. Poor presentation and quality for a moderately priced starter.Wine. Wine was an issue from the start. We spoke to three different staff members about whether they offered corkage, and got different answers each time (it may be worth educating staff on what corkage means...). Regardless, we were willing to buy wine and were expecting an impressive wine list to back up the top quality steaks. As a couple who love and work in wine we were shocked at how limited and poor quality your wine list was. This is something that really should be improved on if you want to both compliment the steaks you are serving and actually improve yourself as a restaurant.The ambience was a little odd too, with a group of rowdy men in T-shirts at the table next to us, shouting all evening (we appreciate that it’s not your fault when you get tables like this). However it was easy to tell that it wasn’t just our table that felt annoyed at how loud they were being. Many other tables kept looking up at there table when they started getting overly loud.Overall we did enjoy our steaks, but the whole aura of the restaurant seemed a little confusing. For somewhere that is ranked one of the top steak restaurants in the UK it really fell short and appeared to be more of a middle of the road, franchised restaurant, and certainly nothing that left us feeling WOW, if anything more perplexed as to how they have achieved such a high ranking. Good steaks are never cheap, and prices did reflect the quality of the meat. It’s just very unfortunate everything else about the menu let down what we were hoping would have been an incredible evening and a place we would want to make a regular for us as we love our steak restaurants. But sadly this isn’t the case at the moment.....

We arrived 30 minutes early for our table and the staff were so helpful in getting our table ready for us. You could tell all the staff were so happy to be back open and working and couldn't have done enough to make us feel welcome. The food is excellent and the décor is lovely.

My Partner and I went to celebrate his birthday. We both had sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The staff gave wonderful advice on portion size regarding extras to go with the steaks. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food. We will be returning.

Of course it’ll be better when the upstairs area reopens, but if your thing is a great steak then Hudson’s always delivers. It’s not cheap and the wine list could do with a makeover, but this is a restaurant to cherish.

I will admit we drank a lot of wine, so my memory is a little haze but from what I can remember the food was amazing. I had filet steak with some prawns and it was full of flavour, very tender and succulent. The wine that we had with it was very nice too and the waitress had good banter, she was friendly, efficient and added some good humour when she came over (but wasn't over the top) Overall would always recommend this as the best steakhouse in Bath.

Went in here for my 18th, starters were lovely and the mains were delicious. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Would recommend to anyone who likes steak.

We’ve been to Hudson many times now, it is our go to restaurant for special occasions. I was just looking for other restaurants in Bath and thought I’d be nosy and read the reviews of Hudson. As expected, most are raving reviews about great it is but I was absolutely shocked to see that some people had rated it poorly. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough, everything is brilliant. The food, the staff, the wine, it cannot be faulted! If you’re visiting Bath you will not regret making a reservation at Hudson! We certainly can’t wait for December to come round so we can go back. Also, if you’re ordering a fillet steak well done then I don’t the chef is the problem

I rarely ever go to steak restaurants as Im very picky with how it's cooked...for the first time ever both my partner and I walked out of a steakhouse incredibly impressed with how exceptional it was! Only thing I would say is that it's a bit annoying that at the prices they are that there aren't sides that come automatically with the main (even a small salad on the side would be a welcome addition) - but even that hasn't taken my score down. Would recommend to any steak fanatics.

We visited here to celebrate of wedding anniversary, a nice place. Nice atmosphere, the food was good, starters were delicious, steak was decent although my husband asked for rare but both of ours were cooked medium, this was disappointing. Overall a decent experience

We visited last night and both had the most tender, juicy rib-eye steaks with truffle fries (amazing!!!) and the nicest peppercorn sauce I’ve ever tasted. Staff were friendly and attentive - we will definitely come back on our next visit to bath. Thank you!

My partner took me here for my 30th birthday, the restaurant was excellent. They have a great wine selection and the food was delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the dauphinoise potatoes were the best I have ever had. Service was excellent, would highly recommend visiting.

Visité la comida especial de cumpleaños de mi prometido por recomendación de un amigo y no nos decepcionó. Tuve el filete y mi prometido tenía el solomillo porterhouse. Ambos estaban deliciosos y las patatas fritas con trufa también eran increíbles. Pedimos medio raro y los bistecs estaban en el lado más raro, pero no nos quejamos porque, en lugar de eso, oímos a otra pareja quejarse de que los suyos eran demasiado raros cuando solicitaban medio, ¡así que tal vez suba un poco! Ambos somos amantes del bistec y lo clasificaríamos en nuestro top 3 junto a Hawksmoor en Londres y STK en Nueva York, ¡la única razón por la que no fue el número 1 es porque no hacen macarrones con queso! Definitivamente lo visitaríamos nuevamente y lo recomendaríamos a todos. Me sentí limpio y seguro covid mesas bien espaciadas.

Cenamos en Hudsons el sábado 19 de septiembre por segunda vez en un mes con un pequeño grupo de amigos. ¿Qué se puede decir sobre Hudson's que no se haya dicho antes? Los bistecs exclusivos son simplemente Devine, parfait de hígado de pollo suavemente suntuoso y mousse de chocolate hermoso, y vinos deliciosos. Todo eso es genial, pero lo que hace que Hudson's sea aún más especial en comparación con otros restaurantes de carnes es el servicio y el personal absolutamente incomparables (dirigido por la incomparable Helen) y el ambiente del entorno. Simplemente perfección, entonces. . . . ¡Gracias!

Visitamos Hudson en nuestros viajes y la comida era espectacular, así como la hospitalidad. La camarera hizo todo lo posible para asegurarse de que nuestros alérgenos fueran atendidos, y se registró con el chef para asegurarse. El bistec estaba cocinado a la perfección. Es seguro decir que nos sobrepasamos. Recomendaría.

Tuvimos una muy buena comida de bistec aunque tuvimos que comer temprano - 5. 30 pm ya que era el único horario disponible para reservar. La comida era deliciosa y bien presentada. El servicio fue excelente. Una vez que se había ido una mesa de "señoritas", podíamos oírnos hablar y eso hizo que fuera un lugar más agradable para estar. Estoy seguro de que lo pasaron bien, bueno, sé que lo hicieron, ya que eran tan ruidosos que podíamos oír. cada palabra que decían y nos sentamos bastante lejos de ellos.

Hudson steak house was recommended to us by a friend. She did not do it justice. From the warm welcome we received on arrival to the on going excellent service throughout our visit and the beautiful food, the whole experience was delightful. We opted for the crispy goats cheese to start and the fillet steak with tiger prawns for main. We shared a side of fries and the tomato salad. The steak was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were big enough to serve 3. Over all we had a fantastic meal and want to thank each and every member of staff for making it an experience to remember.

We've eaten in some of the best steak restaurants in Europe and the US....this one is up there with the very best of them.... make sure you save space for pudding...can't wait to go back again. Service from staff was friendly and attentive. Make sure you book!

We had heard great things about The Hudson and booked for a special 40th Birthday. We were expecting it to be good.... but omg... its even better than the hype! The steaks were cooked to perfection, great size portions and sides to share, lovely friendly service and there was also a veggie burger ordered which was delicious. Our waitress was fab (tall, blonde lady). We were seated upstairs and the setting is lovely... simple modern touches in a traditional old building.We struggled to finish our desserts but we couldn't leave them as they were too delicious We were also impressed with how the tables were spaced out, anti bacterial stations and everything seemed very clean and we felt reassured.We are raving about this place! ❤

This special is advertised from weds but was on offer also today, Tuesday between 5-7pm. It was cooked to perfection. This is a great restaurant.

Visited Hudson Steakhouse this evening with my wife. We love our steaks, and sought Hudsons out based on the reviews. The food is absolutely fantastic, everything was cooked perfectly to our liking. We had starters and mains, and couldn't even manage a desert. The service was excellent, with everyone so friendly and attentive. We hadn't even noticed that our starter was taking a little long to arrive (the lady came over and apologised saying it would be with us imminently). We thought nothing of it at all, it certainly wasn't something we were considering asking about let alone complaining about... Yet without us saying anything, the waitress told us when paying that she'd removed both starters from the bill because of the extended wait. Incredible service. Would definitely recommend, we'll be coming back on our next visit to Bath. Thank you!

Well what can I say, I was expecting possibly something really special, it was ok and the food nice and the surroundings ok, the service is nice but nothing special, we did mention it was my wife’s birthday and our friends 25th wedding anniversary( not even a flower) the steaks were ok but not exceptional. One of the steaks was very fatty and the sides very expensive for there size £2.50 for a smallPot of fries. Any where we had a pleasant evening and good company anyway.

First time visiting Bath. We visited the restaurant on Saturday evening and we are so glad we did! Our waitress Helen was very attentive and lovely. The food was amazing we had the prawns and calamari to start followed by porterhouse & fillet steak and sticky toffee pudding for desert. Safe to say we were stuffed! I would definitely recommend this restaurant it’s really nice a cosy inside too! Appetiser Breadsticks were a nice touch too :)

Wow!! We’d heard it was good and was not disappointed. One of the best steaks I have had. I went for fillet which can be quite tasteless if not cooked to perfection...it was sublime!

Super over priced for what you get 111 GBP for 2 steaks fries and STD bottle of red wine. Table setting poor could have been in a pub no finesse and no atmosphere right next to a main road with the main door open! If your going to spend 50 quid plus per head then chose somewhere else.

Steaks here are beautiful, best I’ve had in a long time. Tasty and cooked to perfection. The whole family had a lovely evening here, we were socially distanced from other tables perfectly too. We arrived a little early but were told we could go to our table which was upstairs, we greatly by the staff who were very friendly. The starters were amazing too.

We had dinner here on 8th August and it was lovely. The steaks were cooked perfectly as were the burgers. The fish was also delicious. The Raspberry Collins cocktail is well worth a try! Lovely place.

This place is incredible and unforgettable! I went 2 years ago and need to go back 😩 it is quite pricey but worth every penny!!! Best steak I have ever ever ever had!! Will go back one day!

Second visit to this wonderful steak restaurant. You will not find many places with a better steak - delightful blue cheese butter side- the portion of French fries was large and the starter was plentifully. The staff were extremely friendly

Best place I have been since the release of lock down. Safe and comfortable without feeling like you are back at school. Everything about this place oozes class, the service is friendly and attentive and the food perfect. The steaks our party chose were all cooked to the degree requested and were of the highest quality, everything served with it was also expertly cooked and presented. The busiest place I have been in lately, so had a great atmosphere. Was good to feel slightly normal again.

This was the restaurant we agreed we wanted to visit first after lockdown...and it was every bit as lovely as we remembered! Outstanding food quality, great atmosphere - nicely busy, happy and socially distanced enough to be safe but not weird. Service was right on point - casual and familiar but high standard, friendly and perfect timings. Welcome back!

Visited with my husband for dinner. I have to say they certainly live up to their reputation. Excellent service and the whole 3 courses was completely faultless. Wonderful meal. Would not hesitate for a second to recommend this place. Keep up the good work.

Had dinner last night, first meal out since lockdown and so glad to he back out. Food was great as usual, in this industry social distancing is challenging at best, but felt the restaurant was mixing the requirements needed with customer service well. There was a one way system in place, plenty of space and lots of hand sanitizer about. Will definitely be back and glad to see everyone back to some normality. If you are the kind of person who feels everyone should be wearing masks and wanting screens everywhere, perhaps you should not be eating in restaurants yet as this is not straight forward in this environment.

Dined this evening. Our table was social distanced. Our waiter couldn’t be BUT did not wear a mask or gloves. Kitchen had no screens and customers walked up to and spoke over the serving hatch.No one thought to wipe it down untilwe mentioned it. Chefs are not wearing masks or gloves whilst cooking food. Waiters are not wearing masks yet are at the table.Hudson’s have not invested in any protection against the potential spread of Covid 19 for everyone’s safety. There is hand sanitizer at the door for all to use if they want and they have put about 4 Token posters up. That’s it as far as it goes for protective measures.Food was great but won’t be returning until they seriously invest in making it safe for customers.Currently it is not safe and like every other business that have to conform with safety.

Excellent meal and service. Booked online very easily. Cosy restaurant. Steak deal meal was good value for money and burger was a 10/10.

Came here with my father last week and had yet another fantastic experience at Hudson. We have been coming here as a family for nearly 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience and doubt I ever will. The quality of the steak is unrivalled, and the customer service and ambience are amazing. Even when there was a difficult situation on this particular night, the staff handled it beautifully and were polite and respectful to all involved. A special shoutout to our waitress, Alex, for being especially good. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, an enemy, or anyone who will listen.

We ate here for the second time, the first being quite a few years ago. The steaks that we both had were outstanding - cooked medium rare perfectly. What impressed us most was that it being a Monday night *traditionally chefs' night off) we were expecting less than perfection - how wrong we were! Just a suggestion - offer onion rings as an accompaniment, my wife loves them with steak. Service was very friendly too!

Had a great meal here for my partners birthday. Food was amazing, service was great and staff were friendly.As a butcher, my partner finds it difficult to go out and enjoy a steak, so he was extremely impressed and couldn’t fault it which doesn’t happen often!

The flat iron steak was incredible. Rum and Raisin creme brulee delicious - comes with a whole cookie! Great service. Highly recommend

There were 6 of us- food and cocktails universally excellent. The sirloin steak was probably the best I've had. Generous portions. The staff were lovely, especially our waitress Alex. She was charming and well- informed and even ran down the street after us to return a bag my friend had left behind. Highly recommended.

It is a few years since my last visit to Hudsons but there has been no change in the quality of their steaks or service. There is very little detail to pass on, it is an informal setting restaurant specialising in serving steak and they do it very well!

Steaks absolutely cooked to perfection! Lovely atmosphere with great service. Would highly recommend and be returning the next time we are in bath!

Has a great night here celebrating my daughter's graduation. Looked after from the moment we arrived with superb cocktails. The steaks were immense and the servings large. We had good starters too. Service was spot on and not intrusive and the wine selection was good too. Nice atmosphere and can not think of one criticism of this fantastic steak house. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, I have bee a vegetarian for 25 years of my life. Tonight was the first time I've ever eaten steak in my entire life, I must say, this has to be one of the best things I've ever tasted. The meat was melt in your mouth, the red wine sauce was just delicious, the chips are the best! I love this place. The atmosphere in this restaurant is just amazing. The staff are so wonderful and always make you feel great. The chefs put so much love and care into their food it's incredible! I recommend this place as it's literally my favourite restaurant! Absolutely spot on steaks, and probably the best potato dauphinoise I've ever had! Very relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, great food beautifully served. Highly recommended!

I had to write a review for the Hudson after our experience last night. From start to finish, everything was exceptional and I am so glad we decided to come here after recommendations from a fellow gastronome colleague!

The restaurant was a little bit out of the centre of Bath but well worth a visit.
