Absolutely disgusted with the staff, we paid 6.00 for entry and then sat and watched at least 12 people entry without paying and when I spoke to the young girl at the front door I got nothing but attitude and when a spoke to security all he said was they were friends!! Ask to speak to the manage but seemingly they are to busy for the common people to add the door man with long beard was so unhelpful and said he was in charge when to boss wasn’t about, bit mistake!!!

This has got to be the worst nightclub in Carlisle. Saturday night and it’s empty. Not to add that mr Nordic (guy with the beard) acts like a (power hungry send anyone out that does not subscribe to his opinion on things)!!! Personally been refused entrance then let in then (chucked out for having too much of a good time)… police said they already know of the heavy handed approach from (mr i have a big beard and his ginger minion)! Police said we see you are sober enough to enter but “we can not override the Nordic breasted man’s opinion” im sat outside the nightclub, sober as a judge with mr beard telling me to “step back” 🙃

Bouncer thought I had a few I've got a learning disability they should have learnt that whilst on their course so next time I deserve a free pint

Atmosphere is just like a normal bar. However they didn't care about the drinks we ordered. No alternative was offered when there was no diet coke available. Awful service from indifferent staff

Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and door staff who ensure the safety of their customers and staff. Drinks prices are amazing and there is a good range of cocktails. Would recommend to anyone !

Staff friendly and good place for a boogie on a night out. I think both bars should serve all drinks in my opinion as easier and less queuing. Cocktails are well priced and there is a good choice.

Ordered toffee vodka or vanilla vodka and given normal vodka they argued with us that they gave us toffee vodka but never and blamed us for being too drunk when clearly not when we could clearly know the difference not good customer service at all !!!!

What a treatment and desrespect towards a customer judging the way I was dressed up without even salutation, the at door needs to be a little bit polite with people that try to come in for a drink. I'm a DJ and I just wanted to go in support the venue by having a drink and maybe with a bit of luck get to speak with the management and maybe get to play some good uplifting music but instead I felt offended and with the feeling that the only recommendations I would give is don't go there. Carlisle nights are getting worst and worst by the week. Good luck to you all while you have the job thanks to your customers including the one's that the security or doorman and women don't let in. Staff disinterested when asking what gins / beers they had, we were at the end of the bar so couldn't see properly. Toilets were in a disgusting state considering it wasn't busy only 18.30 at night.

Couldn't get in for been too old. I'm 32 years old...must be full of underaged kids I imagine. Don't go!

Best bar on Botchergate by a mile, amazing music, great staff and unreal atmosphere. Visited for the Euro semi final and it was really organised and managed so well. Drinks are reasonably priced and cocktails are the best! It’s the place to be if you’re in or visiting carlisle. 5 stars plus ⭐️

Stayed in the County Hotel opposite and kept awake most of the night. The music was so bloody LOUD I could hear it even with ear plugs in. We have stayed in cities with night life and have NEVER heard anything like this. Not sure how you are allowed to keep your licence as I am sure the it exceeds decibel limits. How the hell staff hear drinks orders is beyond me let alone how friends hold conversations. Having said that , the clientele were shouting in the street so there is my answer. Be respectful to your business neighbours and KEEP THE VOLUME DOWN. As a result of last night we won't be staying in the County Hotel again, so your actions have lost them business.

Was refused service because I had joggys on doesn't make it clear there is a dress code traveled all the way from Scotland to try this place but never got the chance too don't think I'll be back again

Staff, management and especially one of the arrogant jobs worth little ginger bouncers, very rude and unprofessional indeed. Lost out on the custom of 10 patrons, will certainly never be back

If I could rate 0 points I would. The staff, bouncers and managers are not friendly and to be honest very rude. Drinks are over priced. And watered down massively. Tiny cramped place. Horrible.

Nice bar and good music. The drinks are a bit more expensive compared to over bars on bochorgate. Bouncers standing on chairs to watch from a height whilst people are on the dance floor comes across as intimidating and a bit over the top.

Couldn't give it a rating as I couldn't get in the front door seeing as their dress code doesn't allow for males wearing dress shorts. But females in denim shorts are ok to go in. But shorts are against the dress code apparently. Lost out on the custom of 5 patrons due to this.

Came here with my lads, they came from Leeds, and they loved it, it's a top notch place with top notch people and the staff are ace.Obviously a 5 star!!! :)

Honestly, I gotta say that house of vodka is one of the decent places to go for a meal and for a night out, the staff are very kind, the meals are very clean and tasty... I recommend everyone to try it out!
