Lovely Chinese food, cooked fresh and good portion size. Whenever I collect my order, the kitchen seems clean and organised. My only criticism is too much salt, I’ll be requesting they reduce this by half next time I order - which I will.

What a great find, a safe Gluten free takeaway with loads of options. The food was delivered very quickly and still hot, and as usual it was all delicious.

We always order from here and never disappointed. The food always tastes fresh, hot and tasty. Favorite dishes include the crispy duck pancakes and crispy chilli chicken. Service is always quick as well

I feel bad leaving a negative review but the food was so bad! I don't want others to make the same mistake. I ordered veggie 'prawn' toast which were probably the weirdest thing i've ever eaten! They tasted like fat (i used to eat meat). Do not order these! The fake chicken was horrible. There are so many good pretend chicken options out there, why was the version from here so bad? Possibly great as a meateater (my meat eating neighbour loves it here). Terrible vegetarian options.

This is the best chinese takeaway in Manchester I love it! The chicken sweetcorn soup is so good and the portions are always massive for the price (I always get salt and pepper chicken and chips). They always throw in a bag of prawn crackers, lovely treat

Arrived as a family of 4, wait times to be asked for our first drinks order was over 25 minutes, when we asked politely the waitress if we could place an order we was met with a very rude and abrupt response. After 40 minutes, we decided to get up and leave. Shall not be returning.

We had a group gathering here last night and the “banquet” experience was 10/10!!! Nice atmosphere without irritating piped music! Lovely helpful staff who understand good old fashioned hospitality and personally thank you for visiting as you exit - smiling and shook my hand! Variety and quality of food simply superb! Cannot thank Gonbay enough and will become a regular customer at Altrincham & Sale venues!!!
