Disgusting food, really wish I had taken note of the bad reviews regarding how nasty the food was. Placed quite a large order and nothing in it was edible . The chips were stale and cold, the prawns had a strange smell and taste to them , the prawn toast tasted of mould so didn’t even bother tasting the food. Service was quite quick despite the large order but now I know why. Ten mins after the delivery I received a txt message that if I left a good review I would get free prawn crackers??? No thanks . Never again . The owners obviously know there are serious problems with their food so having to resort to free food??? No thanks . Update : tried golden fortune on a whim (and a craving) . Granted took 30 mins to deliver but wow! . Good fresh food with excellent delivery , food was so good I wish I had ordered other dishes to try. Piping hot food , clearly made to order , highly recommend !!!!

The driver decided to park on the grass verge after days of heavy rain and got stuck. He then told us to help him push his car out, after failing he got cardboard to out under his tyres to help. Another 2 people came to help, the mud destroyed my trainers and the driver left the grass verge a complete mess and left his cardboard behind all over the place. By the time we managed to get our food as the driver refused to call someone to tow him, the food was cold and disgusting.

AVOID!!!! Ordered a Vermicelli Singapore and all I tasted on first attempt was a mouthful of salt. Stirred it up thinking would be ok and the second and third tastes were pure salt. Made a complaint but need to see dish but as I’m away on business can’t get it back to them until Sunday. Been a regular for quite a while and I won’t be back as the customer service is appalling. There is a much better option within 100metres with 5 Star Reviews

Food was 30 minutes late for a start. When I opened it up I was missing one item. Proceeded to open it up and it only got worse. Food was cold yet somehow sweating it out inside the boxes. The chips were freezing, and looked like some had been cooked twice. The noodles were so solid even for crispy ones, that when I bashed them on the counter top they didn’t even break. The curry sauce was half oil half a jelly consistency so had separated. Was all just a disaster. Restaurant didn’t want to cooperate until I mentioned getting justeat involved and even then they were not fully cooperating. Had to claim through justeat. Would not recommend at all. Absolutely shocking.

Food arrived really early and was gorgeous. Ordered salt n pepper chips, salt n pepper chicken, sweet n sour chicken balls, yeung chow rice, bbq ribs, egg fried rice, chicken chow mein, prawn crackers and bbq sauce. All were absolutely delicious even got a freebie which is always a bonus ..top marks 😊

Food tonight was lovely hot and delicious. We Always use Lucky Wok for our family get togethers. They even delivered a huge banquet to a family event near MCR United's ground few weeks ago. Highly Reccommended!!

First time ordering from Luck Wok and they have instantly appointed themselves as my go-to takeaway restaurant for Chinese-style food. Excellent flavour and quality.

Amazingly quick delivery. The Spicy Thai rice is really tasty - love the bits of egg as it reminds me of nasi goreng. Also the Thai crackers were very good. Decent portion I had it for tea the next day too! There are a lot of mixed reviews on here but I had a great service. :)

Terrible delivery service. Waiting well over an hour called and asked and they said another 15min. I asked for discount for this and they said no you can cancel the order. I said we will never return and the response was “that’s fine, no problem”

Pizzas were great, but calzone was disappointment. Very little cheese in comparison to normal pizza. And I order calzone and expect it to have more, so just stick to pizza

This Chinese is amazing. Food is always delivered fresh and hot. The food is full of flavour. The staff are so helpful. It was Chinese New Year and even though they were closing early to go and celebrate, they still made us our food. Top rate service and will defo use them again.

An hour and a half late, food just about warm. Very poor quality

Food is ok but customer service from restaurant is shocking. After waiting 25mins beyond stated delivery time rang to find out where our food was. Was given the excuse of being busy that I could come and collect my order or wait at least another 30mins for delivery, which would then have been 2 hours after placing the order. Opted to go and collect as too hungry to wait any longer!!! We won't be ordering from lucky wok again.

Shockingly bad service. Order accepted and delivery time confirmed. When the order was 20 mins late I phoned to ask where it was to be told it would be another 20 mins unless I could pick up. Agreed to pick up but when I got there took 5 mins to acknowledge me and then was told my food would be straight out. 20 mins later and after having to ask a few times if our food was even cooked we eventually got our food. When asked about refunding the delivery charge was told that I had to sort that through just eat. When I challenged that was fobbed off with a promise of a phone call later. Shame the service let them down as the food was nice.

Always enjoy food from here, just please double check your orders as I was sent the wrong main meal- I got beef in black bean sauce by mistake. I ended up just eating it as it was late evening and I was starving and I like black bean sauce. Had it been something I didn’t like I would have been annoyed

Restaurant added 10 minutes to delivery time and were a further 15 minutes late. Food was cold (so cold that the bag was full of condensation and the chips were sodden and virtually inedible). Prawn toast was cold, greasy and soggy. Things here are usually fantastic but this was a huge disappointment.

very disappointed. chips were cold and obviously stale and reheated.. Sweet and sour sauce tasted predominantly of vinegar. Crispy spicy beef was rock hard. Special house curry was nice though, although the prawns had been over cooked and were chewy. All in all we really wish we hadn’t ordered from here. We threw away the takeout and won’t be ordering from here again.

Where to start with this place! First of all the fact it took over an hour to deliver, which is made even more outstanding due to the fact we live less than 10 minutes down the road from this place. Secondly, when our food did eventually arrive, the chips were cold and hard! Then when we rang to tell them of this, they were abrupt and rude and reluctantly brought us a 'fresh' portion. Finally, the chicken was chewy, the chips were still disgusting and to sum it all up, the curry sauce was like cement mix! Without a doubt, the most disgusting takeaway I have ever had in my life!

In terms of food, I am yet to find better Chinese food in the surrounding area. In terms of service it has always been professional. Delivery has always been on time and order has always been correct. My no longer using Lucky Wok stems from a personal perspective. We would order from here on a weekly basis, minimum once a week (some may say that is way too much take out) but that is how good the food is, but on the last occasion I attempted to place an order for delivery, I was advised that on that occasion we lived too far away. Of course if we were that hungry we could have collected the food ourselves, however going from regular customers to the way were treated unfortunately has resulted in us finding another establishment, reluctant to return go Lucky Wok, & has brought my rating from 5star to 3star.

This authentic take away is well worth a visit - hot tasty foods , at very reasonable price - great selection of delicious dishes on offer at this little gem of a take away :The dim sum is excellent here must be tried ,,,,

worst takeaway I have ever had. ribs were dripping in oil and had no meat on. the veg soup had chicken in and also was like water. the chips were soggy, seafood was rubbery and over a very poor takeaway!!!

So disappointed with this takeaway. It was our first time using them; chicken and sweetcorn soup tasted like water, salt and pepper chips were stale and the rice was cold. Couldn’t finish any of the food and actually feel physically sick after eating a very small amount of it.

Food was disappointing. All the sauces were too thick. I’ve never had chicken satay in a sauce anything like that before. We ordered Thai style honey chilli, roast duck and received a very RED, what seemed to be, sweet and sour duck. The ‘free’ dish was also the red sauce with some sort of meat.

Ordering Thai food from a Chinese is probably never a good idea, but this was the most abysmal food I've had in a long time. The sauce was think and full of msg instead of being a creamy and aromatic coconut sauce and the meat did not in the slightest resemble or taste like chicken. Sadly it was a very unpleasant meal that I didn't end up eating.

I said no sea food due to allergies, they sent 2 dishes with sea food in. Asked for honey lemon chicken they sent sweet and sour. My friends dish the chicken was soggy. Never had to write a review but had to on this occasion.

I ordered Thai fried rice and asked for it extra spicy which they did for me and it was lovely 😊

disgusting food and service duck was dry and over cooked and tasteless. hot and sour soup was almost black in colour and had a rancid smell as if something rotting had been added. was promised a phone call from the manager but didn’t hear. avoid like the plague! Excellent fried rice and chow mein

Food came amazingly quick, was told over an hour, but it arrived within 20minutes. Food was really good. Szechuan tofu was top notch. Crispy seaweed was a decent size portion, very yummy, just very salty. Salt and pepper chips were done really well. Veg fried rice was huge and full of veg , just could've used a little more flavour. The Only bad thing I can say about about the meal was the free prawn crackers, they were really oily and tasted weird. Would definitely recommend trying this place out!

The price was too much for poor tasting food and the salt and pepper chicken wings in batter tasted nasty and the rice was very hard, the beef chow menu was a small portion with not very many noodles in it

I will not order any food from here again the food was tastles and salty it felt as if it was left over food from the previous day warmed up and delivered . I have no idea what all those positive feedback is based upon, my experience, is contrary, to those positive feedbacks and recommendations. Maybe I was just unlucky on the day, however I will not be going back regardless. First impressions are important!!!!!!
