Lovely cafe, staff v pleasant and area outside is nice

Only stopped for an ice cream, but the portions were very generous and the service was friendly. Marshfield farm ice cream, it's the best!

A nice restaurant in the middle of the park. Not the best layout, can be difficult to get staffs attention and lack of signage about everything from toilets to how service works (it's order at the counter). A perfectly acceptable meal made to a high standard for a reasonable price that did not require leaving the park.

We went for a friends birthday treat and they went out of their way to accommodate us early as we needed to leave at 18:30. The food was delicious and all the staff were friendly.

Very very pleasant little cafe in the middle of Bognor surrounded by the fields of Hotham Park. The food was very reasonable and portioned well. Will definitely be coming back when we are this way again in the near future. Opening times very good aswell, 8pm on a Sunday, this is unheard of lol.

Breakfast Saturday 10 August 2024. First class. Great attentive service and food was superb. The food here is always hot, unlike their Harbour Lights restaurant, there it's usually cold. Anyway, overall Hotham Park is a great all round venue and this restaurant is truly terrific. Tony Perrin.

Cute little cafe in the park. The doors pull wide open so it's perfect for the summer. Unfortunately no wifi, but perfect otherwise!

A real boost to the park and Bognor Regis. Excellent service and food and now serving beer and wine and cocktails after 5pm.

Food is amazing and we will return for an evening meal, I highly recommend. My only fault is the alcohol is very expensive. Bottle of wine £23, glass over £8. Considering it is a family cafe in the park not a pub or restaurant I think the drinks are very over priced.

Hotham Park Cafe is a beautiful cafe with a wide range of food and drinks. Food is fresh, homemade, and you pay for what you get. We come every year when we come to Butlins. The cafe has inside and outside seating. Very clean and pletty of space. We had to wait a bit longer due to being busy. The food never disappoints, fresh, tasty, and filling. Staff is always very friendly and always has a lovely atmosphere when we have been there. I had never been to a place where the toilets were so clean. Disabled access for outside and inside. Great place to meet up and socialise. The park in it's self is beautiful and pletty to do. Every town should have a park like this and definitely a cafe like this.

Food good ,but staff useless especially on the till, have no knowledge of what' or how its cooked, being told breakfast not available only for cook to say it is . Poor service not helpful at all.

Hotham Park Cafe is a great place to eat or drink whilst visiting the park. We have been many times and always enjoy our food. The menu is varied and very well cooked and tasty. The servers are exceptionally helpful and very friendly. They were very attentive and helped with my 2 young grandsons, one of whom spilt a glass of water but it was quietly dealt with without any fuss. We look forward to our next visit. Oh and the ice cream is superb!

Had a lovely breakfast with friends and kids . Adults had selection of sour dough breakfasts, all cook and presented well. Kids had ice cream, crisps and juice cartons. Ate outside, beautiful weather, clean benches, lovely scenery. Will be back :) x

Stopped here as we were at the park for golf, the staff were extremely friendly the food was quick and very nice, hot drinks were hot! which is a rare find nowadays. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Very Expensive 3 tiny cooked breakfasts, 2 teas and a glass of lemonade, £33.00. Such a shame that costs are not s little more reasonable

Had seen plenty of good reviews of the cafe in the park - decided it was our lunch venue with the family on a reasonably nice day. Inside was packed but thankfully got a space outside. Again, queue was pretty long, but actually got served fairly quickly, and food turned up not too long after that. Everyone liked the food they had - and it was far better than I probably would have expected. The only downside to our visit, and this is no fault of the cafe, was the people who seemed to be unable to control their dogs when not on a lead - at one point we had a small dog under our table, which initiated a bit of a shriek from our daughter (always fearful since a dog stole her sausage roll a couple if years back!)

A wonderfully friendly cafe that managed to produce one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, fantastic for a small cafe in a Brighton Park. Well worth seeking out. Great value too!

Only had teas , coffees and rum and raisin ice cream, but they were all very nice.

It's a cafe in a park. The food was OK. But that is just my opinion, people's tastes are different. Very busy. The staff were good. Lovely if you eat first then walk it off going around the lovely park which has plenty to see and a good play area for kids. You can eat in or outside.

Not an average park cafe. We had very good ice cream and cakes. The pizzia looked amazing from the pizzia oven.

Dine outside, first time we had visited Hotham Park cafe and the surroundings, it was a great day and the weather was good too.

Lovely cafe, food is really good, & their vegan burger is one of the best I've had. The staff are really friendly & efficient, & it's spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this superb cafe!

It was really busy and the food took a while to come, so I had to take it away in the end to get back to work.

We were in need of something nice on a drizzly day, when children were disappointed the train wasn’t running. It’s a really lovely cafe catering for everyone. Children had ice cream, we had cake coffee and hot chocolate. The menu looked really tasty. Plus you could also have a beer or something stronger if you fancied. The best part was the very friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Thank you 😊

If we go to Bognor Regis to walk along the seafront, we always go the cafe in the park for a sandwich and a cup of coffee. Coffee is always hot and the sandwiches are freshly made, well filled and very tasty. Staff are friendly and it's always very clean

Lovely park and cafe. I enjoyed my full English, although the plate wasn't overly hot. My wife also was pleased with her GF red velvet cup cake and pot of tea, post 5K Saturday park run.

Only stopped for a coffee and cake on a cold, rainy day. Despite that, it was obvious that the cafe is popular and successful. The park was empty. The cafe was full. There were families sharing large pizzas, older customers eating more traditional lunches and others like me having snacks. Food appeared to arrive promptly and looked tasty. All in all, a very good first impression.

Often had a take away ice-cream in the summer but as we were at the park looking at the Christmas lights thought we'd eat here. We were lucky to get the last table as there were lots already reserved and the place was about half full when we arrived. Really impressed with the happy hour 25% off food. Waited about half an hour for the food but it was worth it. All clearly freshly cooked, full of flavour, lovely side fresh, crisp side salad. All waitresses very friendly. Will certainly return.

Lovely food and excellent service. Get there early for lunch as this cafe gets very busy just after noon. The soup with garlic bread was so tasty and children's portions are very generous. Don't go without buying an ice cream!

First time here for a meal for me. I was impressed! Strikingly well run by an energetic efficient team who kept up with demand during a busy lunch hour. Plenty of room inside at tables of various sizes. One of our group suggested some sound absorbing materials would be helpful to reduce noise, but it was not too bad for me. My fish and chips were great and the meals came quickly too.

I had the big breakfast at Hotham Park Cafe. The girls serving were very good, professional and friendly and the general ambience was relaxed. The breakfast was average and for the price of £10.95 I expect better. The bacon was annihilated and the beans barely had any taste, perhaps they were cheap beans? I didn't rate the sausages either. Although they were nicely cooked I just didn't enjoy the flavour. Halfway through my meal one of the chefs came out of the kitchen and looked like he had been dragged through a hedge backwards, dishevelled - not what I wanted to see from anyone in food prep. The other chef was well presented when I walked past the kitchen. It's a lovely venue in a beautiful park but needs to make things better from my experience on an average morning with a handful of people to make food for. I just had to put an edit in here because I checked the menu and I should have got a hash brown as well which I didn't. I did think at the time but though I must has kissrrad the menu. I've knocked another star off for this.

Typical cafe in a beautiful park, catering mostly for drinks, snacks and ice creams. However there is also a more substantial menu with burgers, pizzas, etc. There is "happy hour" from 5 until 7 with 25% off main menu food.

I ordered Ham, egg and chips and was served, lousy cheap ham, very good chips and eggs. Unfortunately the whole meal was spoiled by a large amount of salad on the same plate with a horrible tasting dressing. I was forced to leave 90% of the meal.

Order food and took far too long to come out. After watching the waitress walk round with our food for 5 minutes she finally gave it to us and it was colder than I would have liked. Not very good.

Although waiting a while for food , this was because it was so popular and rammed . Food lovely as always and staff pleasant . We always one here for a bite when at the park.

Absolutely superb food and service yesterday, wife and mother in law had chicken skewers, chips and salad, I had lamb, tuscan potatoes and feta salad, and it was the best chops I've had for year's, meaty and perfectly cooked, compliments to the chef.

Dinner with family. The food was nice but the whole experience was marred by the extremely rude service. The man who took my order was unfriendly and rude. He didn’t say please or thank you when he took my money, he didn’t apologise when he gave me an incorrect drinks order, he was unhelpful when I asked a question about our table and appeared very disgruntled when I asked for a glass-they had apparently run out so I was expected to drink from the bottle. We all wanted desserts but I refused to pay anymore at this venue and we went elsewhere. Having worked in hospitality I understand the importance of making the customer feel valued and welcomed. This was sadly missing, we shan’t be returning.

Really like this little cafe. The prawn salad is lovely and I tried a few fries, which were so good. They get awfully busy, and close at 7 - so best to go as early as possible. The banana/cherry ice cream is delicious!

Delicious ice creams and a very nice cup of tea. Lovely staff were helpful and happy. There is so much to do here,we did the pedalos this time, having done the train last visit. We always look for the mad hatters tea table for our picnic, and the kids loved the play ground. Never disappoints

Really excellent meal. For a cafe it’s exceptional. We had 6 meals. I had cod n chips. Fresh as fresh. Lovely crispy batter and chips. Very nice salad. Even the tartare sauce was excellent. My wife had a super sea bass meal. Honestly. You could spend much more and not enjoy it as much. Well done team Hotham

Visited here on Friday with 3 friends, we sat outside. I ordered a bacon sandwich in white bread, when it arrived the bread wasn’t the best, it was dry the crusts were tough, there wasn’t a lot of bacon inside the sandwich. I had to ask for a serviette, I would have expected that to have come with my sandwich. My ordered a Bacon Bap, when it arrived it was actually a Ciabatta Roll, this item also arrived without a serviette. Nobody came to ask if our food was satisfactory.

Very good service congratulations to all Staff food and Hot coffee it was Amazing very enjoyable and l enjoyed my lunch there lots of love all team members and staff are so happy l am proud of your Hard working well done

Visited whilst staying at Butlin’s. Used the park facilities and then went for some lunch. Busy place and table service would have been nicer but they were efficient I would say. Wide menu and good was so nice, if a little pricey. Decent portions.

Would have been a five star review except for such a huge place in such a family setting, they only have 6 high chairs which means that when going with a toddler, if there is already a couple of families there, you won’t get one. Which is a shame as it has happened to us a couple of times. Aside from that though the food is superb and the setting is lovely. Great place to go for dinner as a family or as a couple and lovely for lunch too, especially in the summer months. But getting there reasonably early is a must on the nicer weekend days, especially if you have children with you.

On holiday for the week and came here for breakfast! The food was absolutely wonderful! Such a beautiful little cafe! Although very busy the staff were great and still took the time to talk to our little girls! If we’re this way again we’ll definitely be back

Ummm… A very busy place and a bit confusing for a first timer on how the system works. Queue inside for a number for your table, take your drinks with you and your food will be brought when ready. OK, got that bit now.. (There is thankfully a window outside for ice cream and drinks only if you don’t want a bite to eat.) Breakfast fayre sold until mid-day then it becomes a posh BLT for a bacon sarnie. Currently £3.40 for a large latte. The food was Ok but average IMO. Not sure it would be a regular on my list but a friend was visiting and wanted to go somewhere for a ‘traditional English.’ It didn’t look more than average. (I think next time we will try Navigators or somewhere that has a bit more finesse.) Very busy and on weekends you will have to fight to find a table.

This place has gone downhill unfortunately. Must start by saying the coffee is delicious as is the ice cream (although so expensive in my opinion!) Other than that there isn’t much to offer from this place anymore. The prices on food are sky high considering it’s just a park cafe. The food quality is very low. They think that making a dish sound posh on paper reflects its quality and that’s very far from the truth. I’d say the food should probably cost 25% less than it does. Recently had the lamb ragu which was so bland, it literally tasted of nothing. The pizza is ok but again extremely pricey! Other than that, I think they could benefit from less chunky tables as there isn’t much room to manoeuvre- fitting a pram in there is a nightmare. It completely cuts off any space and I have people trying to push past my baby’s pram as there’s so little room. The toilets are really disgusting. They aren’t cleaned frequently enough. So overall, great for a coffee (outside if it’s warm enough). Otherwise I’d avoid.

Three of us had lunch, pasta, salad and a sandwich. All the food was delicious, excellent service, staff lovely. It’s not cheap but worth it as couldn’t fault it.

Never understood what's special about this place apart from its in a nice park! Loud, layout of the table as they are so bulky isn't friendly. Not enough space to get in and out easily. Been there so many times and always say this was...
