Nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the tube and tourist sites.

Very nice hotel in the City of London. Great, large rooms, an included mini-bar, good housekeeping and very friendly service. I have rarely slept as well in a hotel as I did on the king size bed. Also good transport connections with bus in front of the door and subway within walking distance. A few good pubs and supermarket around the corner too. Relatively quiet. Breakfast ok.

Very weird experience During check in I was received by an intern who tried to be nice but she spent a lot of time and doing un necessary check although I am a gold member of IHG and choosing IHG hotels to benefit from a better services during check in and out Finally after checking in I found myself in a room for those who need special service??? I did not expect such kind of service at all for a frequent visitor and loyal to IHG

Beautiful clean rooms, attentive staff, convenient location. The restaurant was under renovation but we were provided with a list of other restaurants we could use nearby, with a discount on the Thia restaurant next door.

The rooms were of a nice size and well kept. Desk and bedside tables could have been a little bigger. Bathroom very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and could be adapted to occupant needs. So why the only 3* review? Bad internet provider - the service interacted badly with my VPN (Nord Pass) even though I had previously connected to multiple other hotels, homes and public wifi. The display on my phone made it look as if all was well, but as soon as I disconnected the Wifi, and depended on mobile internet, lots of messages, previously blocked, came through. Shutting down VPN with Wifi on, also allowed messages through, but both Wifi and VPN? NOPE! Staff tried to help, but did not have the direct line to internet provider. Apparently other guests have complained and management knows about the problem. Reliable internet is important enough for me that I would not rebook unless another provider is found. The rest of the hotel experience was very nice.

Quirky modern hotel. Excellent breakfast.

The view from the window gave you a feel of the city of London, and the interior was chic. The downside was that the front lobby was small and difficult to use for meetings.

The rooms are incredibly spacious for London and the walk in showers have really nice water pressure. It's also located 2-3 min walk from the Aldgate Station, 4-5 from Tower Bridge / The Tower of London. Its a smaller property so the staff will get to know you after a few days. All in all one of the better hotels in London that I've stayed in.

Hotel located approximately 4-5 minutes walk from Aldgate tube station or 10 minutes from Tower Hill station. The reception staff is very kind, when I arrived the room wasn't ready because it wasn't check-in time so I left my bags and then came back later. When I returned they made me find my things directly in room 505 on the fifth floor. What I liked: they asked for ID on arrival, the room was in a corner and very bright with double glazing and a bathroom with window (which is rare in London), the bathroom was clean with a fairly large shower and wall-mounted toiletries complete with everything, towel warmer included. The towels were soft and were changed daily (I stayed 2 nights). Narrow but very comfortable bed as well as pillows, USB wall socket, free drinks (tea, coffee, biscuits), clean room. What I DIDN'T like: the floor is without carpet, which would be a good thing, however the parquet that was placed is probably just glued and therefore creates a space that makes noise with every step. The problem is that the floor and the bed shake with every step of the guests in the next room. I didn't sleep the first night because everything creaked. Very very poor soundproofing. If you want to stay here bring earplugs. I'm very sorry because this lowers my rating a lot, if it weren't for this floor problem I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very disappointing experience. I highly discourage this location to anyone. First they accused me of having smoked inside the room, totally false, then they charged me additional 250 pounds because they had to put the room out of service because of the smell.

Interested in holding an event at the facility I asked to speak to a manager. After expressing my project she replied that he doesn't know if the room and if will be available?!?! After exactly one minute without saying goodbye she turns his back on me and walks away. IS THIS THE NEW FRONTIER OF HOSPITALITY AND RECEPTION IN A HOTEL STRUCTURE? LET ME KNOW

Our favorite Eastend-Hotel! Great spotless spacious rooms with wooden floors and comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location between Tower Hill and Aldgate Tube Station. Tasty restaurants nearby.

Very nice hotel in a great location. However IHG members may need to push staff to ensure promised perks are provided.

Tophotel met fijne kamers midden in het zakendistrict en vlakbij de Tower Bridge. Leuk personeel en een fijn ontbijt in de ochtend. Prima voor de dagen dat ik hier moest zijn. Het zit in een voormalig bankgebouw en van buiten is het geen architectonische parel. Binnen kwam ik nog een kluis tegen, waar nu het personeel zit. Mooi, een hotel dat zuinig is op het personeel ;-)
