Had a wonderful meal with my wife. The food was great. I really needed the coffee and Mohamed kept it filled. I really want to thank Mohamed for his attentiveness. He made for a wonderful experience. I will definitely come back and look for him again.

Wonderful stay and staffs, The front desk is very friendly and helpful especially Kalpana, She was very accommodating, cheerful, always asking whether everything was ok, The rooms were spacious, breakfast very good. Recommend it.

Loved this hotel. All the staff were super friendly. It was my wife birthday present, a treat to Cambridge and a stay in the Duvin, Well it was worth it. I can't say enough thanks for treating us so well. I must say Kalpana the front desk manager was very helpful. We will return back.

Fantastic place to stay, very affordable, really comfortable beds and pillows, staff was welcoming, especially Kalpana who went above and beyond. Lovely bar, Short walk to city centre. No car park but the arrangement is bit expensive.

Had a meal at Hotel du vin' with friends a few days ago. Mohammed, our waiter was wonderful. The Bistro was really cute. We had a marvelous time.

The hotel itself is charming, with a perfect mix of modern amenities and historical character, all set in a beautiful location. What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the service. Kalpana, the manager, was simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, she went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed, offering helpful recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail and willingness to assist with anything, from restaurant reservations to local tips, really stood out. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated and professional, and Kalpana truly elevated the whole experience. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Cambridge, I highly recommend Du Vin. The combination of fantastic service, especially from Kalpana, and the lovely setting made my visit one I won't soon forget.

I had a wonderful sty at the hotel . The room was spacious because Kai on reception gave us an upgrade, which made us very happy. The service overall was excellent . The locations is 10 minutes from the city center and I super recommend this hotel .

Nice Hotel, but not quite worth the price tag. Car park is a 10 min walk away, which for £30 a night seemed a bit much. Didn’t get all the info needed at check in, Inc things like breakfast times or if it was included. Which was strange but you could look past it. Then the keys didn’t work, twice - frustrating. Bed was rather uncomfy. Very soft. Bu the pillows were worse! We had a deluxe room and it was nice enough, but nothing amazing. The noise of the fans outside (along with the scaffolding creaking, made for a disturbed night sleep. All in all not worth the price tag in our opinion.

I only eat at restaurant so cant pass judgement but the food is ridiculously ruff in my opinion it should be shut down my sons and my wife food was disgusting there not chefs i cant express enough how bad it was old cold meat cold Yorkshires dog food at best

Beautiful hotel with amazing service and great food and dog friendly! Every member of staff we interacted with was super friendly and nice to us. The food was really good, especially for the price. The hot breakfast is worth upgrading to for what you get.

A lovely hotel in a great location. The service at breakfast was extremely disappointing with cooked food arriving cold after about 40 minutes, due to severe understaffing and insufficiently trained staff, hopefully a one-off event that will have to be addressed by Hotel du Vin Management in order to avoid disappointment with hotel guests in the future.

A beautiful hotel with personality and intrigue and romance—the way you wish all hotels should be. There's a library, even a cigar shack with leather sofas and a fireplace. Comfortable, tasteful and impeccably clean rooms. Staff are professional, friendly and highly accommodating. A short walk from the city centre makes Hotel du Vin the perfect city stay.

We stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast rate in a suite. The staff were really friendly and even helped us out with a phone charger because we'd forgotten to bring one. However, the website said there was no parking and to use a local council one about 15mins walk away, but when we arrived it turned out there was parking through a partnership with another hotel, so we spent £25 we didn't need to. The suite was much smaller than expected, although the bath and shower were lovely the photo on the website has a sofa and our room didn't, nor did it have space for that kind of seating area. Dinner was ok, my wife had the gnocchi that was as bland as cardboard but the beetroot and stilton salad was nice. We were also treated to a cocktail as it was a birthday. All in all it wasn't bad but wasn't everything I hoped it would be

We came for the bar one more time and Abraham delivered an amazing a royal customer service again. Looking forward to coming back again.

Had an amazing experience at this hotel for a friend's wedding. The rooms are fabulous, spacious clean and comfortable. The breakfast was high quality and the service my the waitress was brilliant. The hotel staff are all polite amd friendly and went above and beyond. Only gripe I had was the noise level from the work being done around the hotel at early hours. But I will still return to enjoy this place again

We had the perfect overnight stay here in January. The hotel is lovely and a huge amount of work has gone into it to make it what it is. It feels cosy and relaxing and we felt immediately at ease. Check in was fast, friendly and easy. The room was an upgrade from my birthday and they didn't disappoint. The room was big and the bed was enormous! Roll top bath plumbing was epic being able to fill a bath in about 2 minutes with steaming hot water is the best luxury ever! Everything works, it's spotless and well lit. A short walk to dinner across a glass atrium connecting another building went into a superb restaurant. Warm welcome and great selection of wine (of course). We had a braised beef and fish which looked and tasted superb and service was smiley and couldn't do enough. Back to the room for a bath and film in bed. The bed... :) Film.. mehh Breakfast was a repeat of above and very nice way to start the day. We had avocado with poach egg which was perfectly cooked along with some of the prepped musli and fresh berries. Chefs 10/10! Reception kindly stowed our bag for the day while we mooched around the colleges for the day. Some of England's finest places without doubt. Location is on Trumpington Road 5 minutes from the main Kings College. We finished our stay in the cellar bar with a champagne and cocktail. The bartender was great and this was perfect end to a perfect stay. Thank you to everyone who made this so special. It wasn't one thing, was EVERYTHING! We strongly recommend you stay here.

We are staying at Hotel Du VIN for one night. We decided to eat at the bistro and the fillet steak was fab! Abraham made the meal very special. Very friendly, great service and relaxed atmosphere. Habiba was extremely helpful in check in too. Would recommend.

We had lunch today waited 1 hrs 45mins for meal.one was wrong oder service very slow and no attention to detail.

We booked a Classic room which I believe are the designated rooms when bringing a dog. These rooms (3 in row) were in a small courtyard area inside the hotel & each had an outdoor seating area which was nice, although we didn’t use them given Nov & 2 night stay. There was also an undercover seating area, which i believe was linked more so to the meeting room which led out into courtyard. Can imagine in warmer weather might be bit noisy but a sign did stipulate 11pm was latest that the area could be used. Room was pretty clean tbf (I say that as often rooms which allow dogs can be less than desirable) and included a dog mat/bed & water bowl. Can imagine room gets hot in summer and was even the case in Nov. There was an aircon panel but this didn’t seem to be working (some hotels I know deactivate this outside of summer periods). The bath rain shower was nice but did drip during the night so we had to close batrm door. £25pn night pet fee wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for hotels in area, but I question what this is meant to cover & maybe should be refundable if guest leaves room in a condition that ‘non-pet stay’ reg housekeeping usually covers. No sugar replaced for tea/coff which was a bit irritating to request. Parking is premium in Cambridge and consd park&ride but this comes at cost if staying onight so we parked in Princess Anne CP which cost £27 total (2 nights 3pm arr-11am dep) & 8min walk. Overall we enjoyed our stay with our JRT dog & would rtn if £ was right.

From the moment I stepped in I was greeted with a warm welcome and the receptionist made sure we started off our stay with beautiful cocktails. We ordered The most delicious Crouque Monsieur I've ever tasted in my life. Service in the bar and restaurant was superb. So friendly. Breakfast was excellent and lovely surroundings. Couldn't fault our short stay.Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you.

Such a beautiful hotel, I’m not sure I’ve ever slept on softer sheets or had a better deeper sleep. I would like mention the staff also, a wonderfully polite and courteous gentleman by the name of Kai; answered my questions and was very helpful. Hats off to you all!

Very good location and comfortable room. However, the service at the restaurant leaves much room for improvement. The waiters are students with basic building and one day there was no bread, another there was no butter, another there was no gas and the kitchen could not work, etc... the service was just unprofessional. I will never lodge in this hotel again. Besides, it is very expensive for what you get.

Chicken liver Parfait in the Bistro was very good. Staff were very nice. Habiba and Kaplana are great on reception.

Incredible dinner menu at the Bistro, French cuisine and the menu designed by chef Mat Powell, there are different menu options, the curried parish soup, chicken liver parfait, schnitzel with chicken or halloumini, fillet of sea bass and most amazing one is the Gnocchiala Parisenne, wonderful service and the ambience is great. Will recommend Bistro highly.

While I only came for dinner, I can say that the service is excellent and knowledgeable as well as polite. The food also was incredible alongside an excellent array of wines.
