We did the tree to bar experience with lunch. The whole experience was really interesting and we especially loved the chocolate bar making. The lunch was delicious as well. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

The best hot chocolate ever! We also tried their delicious salted caramel tart and rather over did it with a waffle swamped with white, dark and milk chocolate! Delicious but one order too far!! Good service.

We visited the Hotel chocolat for an ice cream treat before a London Show. There were 3 young people serving. A young lad called Phoenix made our ice creams and they were just fabulous. He chatted to us and made us laugh, the team you had in there today (1/2/24) obviously love working together and are a credit to your company. Customer satisfaction by the bucketload ! And you give Blue Light Discount for the RNLI as an added bonus ;)

I was on my way to the British Museum when I saw the Hotel Chocolat and couldn't pass the opportunity to stop in. I love chocolate so obviously I had to get dessert. I got the Ice Cream of the Gods in a tub (cup) and it was good, not too sweet and creamy. The staff was polite and efficient. Next time I'll try a sundae.

This company has fraudulently taken money out of.my account. I bought a box of chocolates on Sunday and Monday the money came out again. I have. Been into two stores-sent emails to a range of departments and they will not refund my money. Will not be shopping here ever again .Make sure you check receipt and items before leaving the store

Had been wanting to try the Hotel Chocolat cafe for ages now, and on a rainy Devon day decided to go and have a try. Me and @donnellyben ordered 2 drinks to share and we got the ‘Vanilla white chocolate shake’ and the ‘Milky velvetised hot chocolate’. Both were topped with Hotel Chocolat chocolate cream. The vanilla white chocolate shake was sweet and refreshing and a nice consistency; not too thick or thin. Neither flavours were too overpowering, however I think normal cream would have paired better with this. The hot chocolate on the other hand was perfectly combined with a rich chocolate flavour of the drink, with a lighter chocolate in the cream, and the velvetised style made it even smoother and creamier than normal. This definitely convinced me to get a velvetiser. As you can imagine with both of these drinks they got quite rich after a while, however the portion size given was enough for what we got. Pricing was a little expensive, but that is expected from a deluxe chocolate shop. Overall review: Date visited- 15th January 2023 Drinks- 8/10 Service- 9/10 Price- £££ Recommend to a friend? Yes✅

Best ice cream I have tasted in London by far. This is certainly going to become my favourite sweet spot.

I love their chocolates and stopped there for a Hot Chocolate and to buy some chocolates. The Hot Chocolate was good but my review goes for the service. We were served by a guy and he was anything but nice, not rude but not nice and that didn’t help with our experience. After that we moved to the shop to buy some and we were served by a very nice lady, so she gets 5 *

I've just bought next day delivery and it was not honoured. Thanks for that Hotel Chocolat, you've just lost my future custom. Very disappointing and not helpful customer relations either, basically just denying any responsibility. Avoid

Our “Bean to bar” experience was excellent ! The staff - in particular Marina and Tash- really know how to make you feel welcomed , taken care of and excited about chocolate . Highly recommend you book your experience with them . Great team effort, lots of shared knowledge and delicious chocolate made by you!

I had the classic iced shake i didnt taste the chocolate so its best to go for milky or dark. Cocoa whip was nice a generous portion

We were walking past and fancied a hot chocolate. Tried the milk chocolate one with chocolate cream on top and also bought some mini chocolate sticks to dip in it. Its made from milk and milk chocolate nibs, Sooooooooo good and lovely staff too.

Afternoon tea which was very nice. However really disappointed that the extra sandwiches we requested were billed at £10. Have never been anywhere for afternoon tea where additional sandwiches (and even scones on occasions) have not been offered and complimentary. 3 little finger sandwiches and 2 tiny squares of bread with toppings is not a lot! Scones and sweet bits were good. Bathrooms were in dire need of servicing. Won't return but on the upside location is fab, prosecco was very reasonablely priced, service was fine and we had a nice afternoon.

The Bean to bar experience was expertly organised by Josh so that it was fun, informative with some excellent chocolate. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will consider more carefully what chocolate I eat in future.

Had a great workshop here for 11 and 12 year olds for a birthday party. The staff were lovely and kids had an amazing home - and brought home lots of chocolate!
