Basic Chinese food but brilliant sauces

Im absolutely gutted we have moved over to blackwood, because this was out chinese every Sunday, The Food is really nice... good size portions really tasty, the ribs are out of this world , best chinese bar far. Shame we cant no longer have it.

What a lovely Chinese but only given 3* as they chips are always not cooked tidy. I've even asked for them to cook them a bit longer. 4 time's this has happened. For heaven sake hot wok just cook them a little longer so they ain't hard!!

By far the best chinease around. First time ordered this evening and not a single fault. Cantonese chicken and the BBQ sauce were amazing.

Wow! I called to see if you delivered to Bedlinog as I’ve never ordered from you before. The food was absolutely stunning😍. it was the most enjoyable Chinese I’ve had in a long time. The food arrived hot, the drinks were cold and delivery was bang on for a Friday night 🫶 Gutted I missed out on the New Year Calendar though🤣 Would definitely recommend 👍

Place has gone downhill. Used to be a lovely polite young lady on the phone. Now there's an arrogant one who literally dictated what I ordered. My children curry and fried rice came in 1 container. There must have been just 2 pieces of chicken. Shocking!

Food was disgusting. Chips was solid and black. Ask for welldone stake and its came back pink also the mini spring rolls was hard and black, hardly any sauce on the egg fried rice and chicken balls and sauce totally dry NEVER AGAIN!!! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME WAITING FOR SOMETHING DISGUSTING LIKE THIS. HOW CAN THEY EVEN PUT THEM CHIPS INTO A BAG FOR A CUSTOMER WHEN THEY CAN SEE WHAT THEY ARE LIKE BEFORE THEY HAND THEM CHIPS OVER TO THEIR CUSTOMERS IF THEY HAD ANY DECENCY THEY WOULD OF DONE FRESH CHIPS KNOWING A CUSTOMER HAS JUST PLACED A ORDER FOR A DECENT PRICE

Food was over an hour late cold when it turned up recieved the wrong change when i paid for the *food* crispy beef was more like soggy cat... 10 out of 10 would recommend if you were a dog tien tien is better

Always have really large portions usually quite tasty. Think there are better Chinese takeaways but never had a bad meal from Hotwoks.

Order phone at 18.33 was told 40min to an hour rang then after 2hours was told order had just left. Rang again after another hour was given the same message we are still waiting this morning. The girl that answered told us don't shoot the messenger what an attitude no customer service whatsoever.

Delicious food, delivered on time. Great ribs, salt and chilli chips, curry and BBQ sauce and friendly staff.

Order regularly from here simply because the food is spot on, delivery service spot on and ordering spot on. Get VERY generous portions of food too.

ordered meal for 6.45pm,delivered 5.30, took it back redelivered same meal warmed up batter burned, cost £40, not good enough.

Inside of the shop is lovely with decorations and patterns on the wall gave us a free 6 fortune cookies.

We spent 18 pounds tonight on Chinese from here went in bin rice was like dough balls chicken in chicken balls was yellow chips was solid plus it was freezing cold not happy poor quality of food

Allways ordered from here not any more ! Put a order in at 8:15 comes by 9 wrong order rings them they say they send mine out 10 o clock still waiting even after me ringing and they say it's on its way

I can't see why its got so many bad reviews :S... personally I think its the best round treharris and nelson etc.. apart from maybe lucky dragon in nelson

I am a regular of Hot Wok. I've tried many different dishes and never been disappointed. Quick delivery and I have never waited longer than 45 mins. Great take away.

poorest quality chinese style food ever had. they need to learn "how to cook!".

Absolutely appalled by the quality of the Absolutely Appalled by the quality of the food, was given pink chicken with black bits in it. Sauce on rations, my mouth was drier than ghandi's flipflop, washed down with warm coke. Wanted a hangover cure now I've probably got food poisoning to go with it. Not to mention the wait for delivery as I had almost wasted away by the time my food arrived to be told the driver had no change.. Would not recommend.
