Hot & Spicy Peri Peri Grill in Chorley

The food was late an awfully cold not to the usual standard at all, very disappointing. This experience in my opinion warrents a full refund.

This was a really bad experience. Whilst fasting in the month of Ramadan I expected my order to come on time as I even asked specifically for this. Really bad customer service. NEVER AGAIN

Shocking experience. Ordered food at 5.15pm on Chorley Eats, with an estimated delivery time of 5.50pm. 6.15pm rolls around, and still no food. I then rang them, and was told food is being prepared and would be with me in 10 minutes. Surprise, surprise, 10 minutes later, no food. 6.49pm, rang them again, no answer. 6.56pm rang again and again no answer. Food arrived at 7pm, and the order was wrong, as they hadn't sent any rice. Used to be a really good place, but is terrible now. Avoid at all costs.

Out of the 3 meals ordered only one was right. Wrong pizza. Ordered chicken tenders rice and coleslaw, got chips and the smallest salad ever seen. All lukewarm. Will not be ordering from here again.

3 weeks ago never turned up. Tonight half the order missing. AVOID

AVOID. missed part of my order. didnt offer to redeliver it. had to go and pick it up and then had the cheek to charge me for it. couple of weeks ago took my order and failed to deliver it

Food was cold and delivered half hour late, took hour and half to come

Didn’t get full order. Asked for no salad on donner wrap and peppers on the pizza, got jalapeños added to the pizza when i never asked. Salad was added to the donner wrap, forgot the milkshake (so did I when i checked tbf)

The food was amazing as per usual an delivery was as expected .

All cold when it arrived plus has to wait a further 30 mins for them to rectify mistakes in the order.

Usually like this place but seems like there not arsed. Over an hour wait🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Used to be our favourite place but they’re under new management who are terrible. Ordered at 17:40, arrived at 19:40 - they also marked the order as delivered on justeat so I had to call them twice to check where it was, they only had one delivery driver on a Saturday night and when he did finally turn up the driver knocked on the wrong house and I only saw him outside by pure luck so I had to go outside to find him - food obviously cold by this point lol sort it out guys x

Ordered for delivery, over an hour late. Rang up several times and told 5 minutes or 15 minutes. From order to delivery was over 2 hours and still waiting. Staff on the phone are rude, after trying to ask for a realistic time they hung up. Awful service, would definitely not recommend.

Over and hour late and the food was inedible and really off putting. Chicken was full of feathers straight in the bin

when it arrived I paid for a large bottle of Pepsi but only received 2 cans also the wrap was pathetic for the price u would expect it to be larger than the tiny thin 1 that arrived! it hardly had any chicken and may aswell not even had salad on it and the tiny tub of rice was not tasty at all won't be ordering again

Ive been here many times before and this time im really disapointed, over 40mins past the expected delivery time is a joke. Multiple phone calls kept being told 5-10mins is completely unacceptable

I would like a refund of my money I order chicken tenders I got slices of chicken everything we ordered was wrong bar from the pizza i will submit photos if necessary also was late and cold will not be ordering from there again gravy was gloupy I’ve had to order from somewhere else disappointed

Ordered the Chinese chicken fried rice and it was the Worth the wait. Food came hot and tastes amazing. The Oreo milkshake was really nice too. Thankyou

I have ordered from Hot & Spicy many times and every time it is at least 15 minutes late. The food is lovely but for £2.50 delivery I would expect it to be on time and it unfortunately never is. We order at least an hour in advance and this time have asked for it to be delivered at a certain time and even still was 20 late which is quite disappointing.

Soooo dry I literally asked for sauce on the calzone and nothing was provided terrible customer service how am I suppose to eat this dryy please can you rethink about a customers experience

tasted OK,but today all morning and afternoon I've been visiting the loo ,not feeling the best at all .very poor.

Food was stone cold the driver was taking to some stranger for over 10 mins and wouldn't give us our food till he finished so food had to go im bin I'm not happy at all I eather want a full refund or someone else comes out and give us fresh thanks.

I ordered tonight from hot and spicy peri peri and it has arrived as Freddie’s but both are at the same address…. Surely you can’t advertise a business that is no longer there! The food wasn’t the greatest, hard chips, salty chicken burger and the donner was tasteless. Very disappointed!

It’s nearly 1hr 50mins since I placed order and order has not yet delivered

Ordered pizza with chicken, onions and tomatoes as treat for kids. Got pepperoni instead of tomatoes...which no one likes. Waste of pizza and money!!! Bed time now too late to complain and reorder. Disappointed and will not be recommending or using again.

Flavour was good, portions were OK. Unfortunately Chicken was too dry for me. Not bad enough to not eat but not overly enjoyable. Would try again as the Corn and Rice were decent

Food was excellent however it was late and I had to ring them as it had been marked as delivered when it hadn't been.

Quite possibly the worst takeaway I've ever had. The donner meat was undercooked. The chicken kebab tasted like it had been bought in the frozen section at Aldi or Iceland. The naan bread was like a pancake consistency. Plus it was 20 minutes late. Never again

Food was late 30 minutes. Children’s food was wet, cold and soggy. Chicken kebab on naan was boring - just chicken pieces, lettuce and some chilli sauce. Really disappointing. Salad is more than lettuce. Overall food was cold. A real let down.

Tried Freddy’s for the first time.. It was awful.. The gravy was heated several times in the microwave and wasn’t fresh.. Was a lump of ………. The burger was tiny… Also give me the wrong change so when I went through the order he had apparently charged me twice.. More like trying his luck.. I won’t be ordering from here again no surprise I was the only customer

The chips and chicken wrap were delicious. Arrived hot and on time.

The half peri chicken with peri rice and coleslaw was spectacular! Not just bog standard microwave rice and the chicken was divine!! Not overcooked, lovely sauce, nice charred skin, lovely

Awful. Sorry guys , on this occasion, the chicken wings were obviously reheated, very dry, I know they are grilled so burnt crispy is acceptable, burnt chewy, unacceptable , and they were just warm. Pity cause these wings were the best around, don't get complacent. The chicken salad was very poor, 8 tiny strips of chicken very dry yet again, on a bed of lettuce, looks like it cost a pound to make.

Garlic bread didn't taste like it had much garlic on it and was very doughy. Peri wings and chicken were nice but didn't seem like the chicken was very good quality. Gravy was really thick and lumpy, like jelly. Coleslaw was average. Chips were very stale. Cheesecake arrived like it had been thrown around. Wasn't the worst I've had but wouldn't order again.

Chips need more read salt but other than that perfect! Delivery driver was very kind

Salad and sos were missing from both of our kebabs, quality wasn't great either way really dry.

They do amazingg peri chicken and wraps. Can't fault them

Pizza excellent, cheesy chips excellent and chilli sauce with a good kick. Very impressed.

Sizzler let down wings delish. When are these takeaway going to understand we know the difference between food cooked on the night and food warmed up from the other day.

The first time we came here it was brilliant, since then we’ve had one or two disappointing orders. This time was the worst though. The salad was old, to the point the cucumber was dry and curling upwards. The chicken didn’t have much peri peri flavour and was not cooked to order, that was obvious. A customer lost for good this time.

Absolutely shocking don't even get burgers in the bun that I ordered can't believe how much I got abuse for them taken my money,what a joke. 🤬

This place has some of the best red salt chips, great burgers and amazing milkshakes, I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to eat tasty food.

Clean, Healthy and Quality food Staff are great who look after you all the time!! Definitely recommend 👌

Thought I'd give hot and spicy a try or Freddie's as it's called now .. walked in placed my order waited at least 10 mins then guy said it's gonna be about another 10 mins.... So I thought sod this went black horse for a quick half... Got back.. food still wasn't ready.. when I did get it.. the bun on burger was bland obviously not fresh been frozen as it soon crumbled ( husband who was eating it is a baker so he knows) gravy wasn't anything special so sorry I'm gonna stick with going next door to nabzys😔

Bit of confusion at first as I had ordered from 'Hot & Spicy' but the packaging had 'Freddys' on it! I was like "what the fudge?" Well Freddy my good man you make a 'crackin' mixed kebab and chips but you were a bit skimpy on the red salt eh? Great food guys, cheers👍

Shame it’s changed. Pizza’s used to be amazing however this wasn’t even average. Tasted of garlic bread for some reason.

I payed £25 and they lied and said they delivered my food when they Absolutely did Not deliver anything! There disgraceful!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Had this place twice now, ordered cheesy chips. paying £3.50 for cheesy chips and only getting a sprinkle of cheese is beyond the joke , the first time I ordered I thought fair enough next time I’ll ask for more which is what I done this time.. requested more cheese and still same amount!! Will not be returning!!!

The chilly sauce isn't the same taste flourish (powdery) chips have gone to french fries n dry but your delivery driver was 100% very polite

Chips weren't cook came soggy and nachos were cold. Orders from here alot in past never had any issues but this time the food quality was poor.

Need to spread red salt on all chips not just dumped on top

Spent £26 on a takeaway for it to come cold. Only thing that was warm was the rice. Ordered pizza, chicken, garlic bread, 1 chips were missing. Spending anything over £20 I expect a little care to be taken. This happened last time too.. won't be coming back lads.

Amazing food, (my preference)- chips need more red salt distributed evenly throughout but overall great

We had mix up with food so I rang the restaurant guy on the phone was lovely but unfortunately my phone went dead. 20 mins later some more food turned up! Fantastic service I will say and the food is beautiful we’re you don’t want to stop eating! Thank you peri peri grill! We will most definitely be ordering again ☺️ 10/10

Disappointed with food quality and presentation

Shocking food, donor kebab was the worse one,, it was all dried up scraps that taste like it was left over. Disappointed

Driver argued with me on phone that where I was staying didn’t exist. He’d gone to the wrong address. Food was mostly good.

Didn't appreciate the delivery driver ringing me at 930 asking if I had paid because he was short on money. I had paid him cash as I don't trust paying online. Not right to ring and question customers whom you delivered to over 2/3 hrs previous.
