Great atmosphere. The views are great being inside a church. Almost a bit surreal. They have small tables where you can sit and work or just drink coffee. The coffee is good too!

We arrived quite late (15:30, and it closes at 16:00) and there were no desserts left so we did not stay. It's a really cool place though, just make sure to go early!

Such a beautiful setting and I had a very tasty chai latte too. Surprisingly not overly noisy either. There is an option to work from there for 1.5h for free and after that for a small fee.

A wonderful place to have a quiet coffee in a great environment. Card payment only.

Drinking coffee in a church was a different but definitely positive experience. There are various drinks and small snacks, the carrot cake (~£4) is highly recommended! An absolute insider tip, you have to see it. Drinks are also available to go, but we would recommend sitting down for a few minutes and taking in the surroundings.

Si quieres un oasis a buen precio para una taza de té y una rebanada de pastel, Host Café es el lugar para visitar. A dos minutos a pie de la estación de metro Mansion House (o cinco de Bank) , el equipo en Host son anfitriones perfectos y le hacen sentir bienvenido. Ubicado en la iglesia, se puede disfrutar de un poco de paz y tranquilidad lejos del ajetreo de Londres. Los precios son asequibles para donde se encuentra en Londres. El pan de plátano era increíble. La arquitectura y el ambiente de Host es increíblemente tranquilo.

Génial ! Coffee shop plus qu'insolite dans le centre de Londres. Le chaï latte est excellent et le personnel très gentil.

Great little cafe in a church, good value

I drank coffee for the first time in a cafe inside the church. The environment is quiet, pleasant. The stained glass windows are very beautiful.

Something very curious to have coffee in a church. It has regular tables and small tables between the Church chairs. It has open internet so you can use the internet and if you want to work as a “Home Office” you can book in advance and it has different prices 10 pounds less than 4 hours or 18 pounds more than 4 hours but try to make a reservation so that you can stay more than 1.5 hours. Hot chocolate is recommended, which has different types depending on the percentage of chocolate you like and how dark.

Nos encantó este café en una iglesia! Qué tesoro tan absoluto. Esta es una iglesia en funcionamiento con un café concurrido y popular dentro de ella. Había amigos poniéndose al día, gente trabajando en computadoras portátiles, turistas y lugareños. Tuvimos café y pasteles que eran excelentes. Trajimos un bebé con nosotros y las instalaciones de cambio eran buenas, también había una silla alta. Dejé que el bebé se arrastrara por la capilla lateral alfombrada cuando se aburría, y le encantó. La hermosa iglesia da un ambiente encantador que es tranquilo y pacífico, pero también muy amable y acogedor. Es tan agradable ver una iglesia en funcionamiento con un próspero ajetreo lateral como este, y los dos complementándose. Si viviera en Londres iría aquí todo el tiempo. No puedo recomendarlo más.

We absolutely loved this cafe in a church! What an absolute treasure. This is a working church with a busy and popular cafe within it. There were friends catching up, people working on laptops, tourists and locals. Lots of nice tables but you can also sit in the pews. We had coffee and cakes which were excellent. We brought a baby with us and the changing facilities were good, there was also a high chair. I let the baby have a crawl in the carpeted side chapel when she got bored, and she loved it. The beautiful church gives a lovely atmosphere which is quiet and peaceful but also very friendly and welcoming. It's so nice to see a working church with a thriving side hustle like this, and the two complementing each other. If I lived in London I would go here all the time. Can't recommend it more.

I usually don't leave reviews, but this is a hidden restaurant! Living in the UK, it was difficult to find coffee with strong acidity, but the long black here is delicious, and the bread is soft and better than expected. The atmosphere of a cafe inside a church is very nice, but there is not much space to sit. It feels like simple tables and chairs.

Everything is perfect! We went there for the beauty of the place and the atypical setting of this café. There are many options for gluten-free and vegan pastries (I recommend the peanut butter blondie). I will return there during my next stay in London.

The place is just magnificent. Bar service therefore non-existent.

It's so special to have a meal in a church. There are fewer people in the morning, so you can slowly feel the atmosphere of the church.

Loved the idea turning a church into a cafe, makes the vibe super unique and chill. The seating is worked nicely around the space, and it’s just a great place to hang out. The coffee was pretty good, bit different from what I’m used to, but still enjoyable. They’ve got toasties, soups, pastries, and you can even bring food from nearby as long as you grab something from the cafe, which is pretty handy. Perfect for a quick bite or a drink if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary. Definitely worth checking out!

Interesting setting for coffee.

A cosy café located inside an old church. I loved the concept of drinking coffee and eating while looking at the stained glass windows. There are tables for eating and working, but you can also use the benches that are part of the church.

When we entered the cafe, the waiter was not there and there was no one to guide us. The second thing is that after about an hour they said that the table time is over. And so, I decided to stay at this soft cafe because the way they said it was far from polite. But the cake didn't come and I said you didn't order! And then when I wanted to order, they said the cake was finished..

Los cafés eran muy sabrosos y nuestras selecciones de pasteles eran deliciosas. Un gran hallazgo escondido en la ciudad a la sombra de la calle Paul’s.

Staff is not friendly and does not have enough respect for customers. It’s annoying how many times it’s mentioned that only food that’s bought there could be consumed and that amount of time you can stay there depends on how much you spent.

Drinks were very watered down. The service was also not good. They don’t allow you to sit longer than an arbitrary 90 minutes without booking and paying an extra £10.

Very nice place to come for coffee. For me it’s a new experience because churches in my country don’t have this kind of coffee bar but I thought it was wonderful. Lovely coffee and cakes. If you want to stay for a longer time you have to pay like a reservation but it’s not expensive and it comes with a drink so I thought it was ok. Thank you for everything

Small cafe inside the church. Good number of tables. They also serve toasties, soups and pastries. You could bring food from nearby stores, as long as you busy something from the cafe. Great spot for lunch or coffee. Nice atmosphere and beautiful interiors/

Peaceful cafe tucked away in the bustling city. Nice getaway on a busy day. Really liked the berry smoothie, thought it was pricey for £6 but large quantity made up for it.

Nice enough and the coffee was good. Wasn’t much filling in the focaccia but tasted good. Comparatively for London, £23 for 2 coffees and 2 focaccias is reasonable. All self service. Toilets were not the cleanest but worth a try if you’re near by.

Un café muy agradable situado dentro de una iglesia. Era agradablemente fresco en un día caluroso en la ciudad. El menú no es particularmente grande, pero ofrecen una buena opción de bebidas frías y de éxito, pasteles, sándwiches y bocadillos. Pedimos un café helado y chai helado y disfrutamos de nuestras bebidas sentados en bancos de la iglesia vieja. Este café es un pequeño lugar muy agradable para tomar un bocado rápido y descansar mientras recorre el centro de Londres.

This place is very enjoyable, although it can be a little tough to find a seat to work with if you’re working from a laptop. Otherwise, they have seats on the pews, but overall a very lovely place to work from the scenery and stained glass windows are a delight to look at while you’re sitting and enjoying food or drink! Really enjoy that they have bathrooms as well and places is very spacious!

Incredible place!!! The food was very good and my cappuccino had a well roasted coffee taste!! The atmosphere is very calm, everyone in their conversations and there are plenty of spaces. It is a different experience for us, because in Costa Rica churches are for going to mass, so going to an Anglican church is going outside of convention!!!

If I have to pick one of the cafes in the world you should visit, this would be one of them. The idea of transforming a whole chapel into a cafe is a mind blowing concept to me. On top of that, the coffee and the sandwich were also both worldies. Recommend highly!

A really nice space for a cafe and great to find somewhere that isn't another boring chain. The coffee was good and I also had a sandwich which was reasonable - not top quality but filling and tasty. Total bill was under £10.

V60 is offered, as well as bags of coffee beans (which can be ground to order). There is even an espresso & tonic on the menu. There are also Discounts for bringing your own cup.

An another great example that churches can be utilized multiple ways. It is an actually functional church, just in the back there is a small coffeeshop where you can buy some pastries, coffee and tea. You can sit down the the tables or you can also have your morning drink among the aisles. It is a unique experience don't miss it!

A cafe set inside a church, offering a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy some quiet time. I visited around 10am and most of the seats were already taken, however there are options to sit in the pew. Most people were working by themselves with a laptop, some were chatting with friends or colleges. It’s a very easy, quiet and comfortable vibe that invites to sit down and enjoy peace. I had an americano (£3) and a chocolate croissant (£2,90), which both were decent. The chocolate croissant was however a bit too sweet for me.

Need to have a dee chat in peace about something that is important to you? There is no better place than the pews of this church. Food is good, there are even 3 choices of hot chocolate. The church shows the deplorable German influence on London's ecclesiastical architecture, there are clear signs that it was bombed.

Apart from the visiting a church with a beautiful ceiling, nothing to see. I went there around 3.30 p.m. couldn't have my cafe in a mug, I hate paper ones, because they are closing! 3 different staff said that..Again victim of a insta story..

Really wanted this to go well after all the good reviews and the unique location. Staff very nice. Almost 8GBP for a toasted sandwich with tiny wafer-thin slices of ham and some kind of white processed cheese. Bit shocking, as there was no melty goodness, just really hot focaccia with almost nothing inside. If you want some really hot bread, perhaps you would be happy here.

Found out about this place on a London Walks. A little gem in St Mary aldermery. Open Mon to Fri generally. But open today as The Lord Major show. Simple selection of food . Sit in the alecated area of the church

Das Cafe befindet sich in einer Kirche. Von außen wirkt es sehr unscheinbar (wie eine normale Kirche) und innen befindet sich ein kleines Selbstbedienungs-Cafe. Die Dame an der Kassa war total nett und das Ambiente ist sehr einzigartig. Es gibt einige normale Tische zum Sitzen, man kann sich jedoch auf auf die Kirchenbänke hin setzen. War ein tolles Erlebnis, kann ich jedem empfehlen der nach London kommt!
