Top place, a proper pub with proper beer

Only had a beer which was okay and not over expensive and it was served by a vary pleasant young lady. It could do with a coat of paint and a little upgrading but would definitely go again.

Since Cam has taken over, this place is a fantastic pub, a hidden gem. The Sunday lunch is so good and the cask ales change regularly, reflecting the regional breweries. The sharing platters mid week are great too. A perfect lunchtime or evening venue for something to eat, great service and a good selection of beers.

Kim, my wife, and I visited for lunch today and had a sharing antipasti board. Generous portions, reasonably priced and delicious. The staff were friendly and pleasant and our two dogs were made welcome. Some great beers and lagers.

My wife and I with our two young grandchildren called in on our way home to the Midlands for a break on our journey ,the bar staff couldn't have been more pleasant and welcoming and the service and drinks were lovely ,I would definitely recommend popping in for a drink or meal . Unfortunately we couldn't get food as it was lunchtime and food wasn't served but that didn't matter .

Ate at The Horseshoes this evening. The food was not just your standard pub fare; very nicely presented, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff very welcoming.

Very disappointed with lunch today, cold plates, ran out of vegetables, etc. (considering we were a large table of 9) this shouldn't have happened. Pudding disappointing too, how can somewhere run out of custard

Called in here for a pint on a bike ride. They were changing the barrel on one line so only a couple of cask ales on that day. They were both nicely kept and our group all enjoyed their drinks. Nice friendly pub, defo worth a visit if you pass

Had Sunday Dinner there now that Callum and Tom have taken over and it was top notch. Beef was so tender and the Gravy was to die for, and the Roasts were perfect. Deffo will be returning

Since the recent take over the pub now feels alive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff are nice too. Yet to try the food but the wine is good :)

Good to see the pub back open. Real ale was on great form with two beers from New Brew in Newport. Well worth a visit.

Great Guinness very reasonably priced and a pleasant couple behind the bar. Their sandwiches and chips are very good too.

Fantastic, hosts,. Warm, friendly atmosphere. G and Sally laid on an amazing buffet and made my guests feel extremely welcome. This place is the perfect pub.

Good friendly local pub selling a range of real ales including Storehouse Station Bitter. Large car park to the side of the pub.

Friendly bar with a fine selection of beers, ales, ciders and wine.

Great little country pub. BBQ out the back for the classic car show was a very warm welcome. Would visit again.
