Dog friendly visited with friends for coffee and cake.

Lovely little cafe found down a little passageway. Definitely a hidden gem. It wasn't too busy when we went. My wife had a baked potato with tuna and cheese and I had a plain cheeseburger without any trimmings, just a side order of chips. The food was really good - first rate - and not too expensive. The atmosphere was great. Thoroughly recommended !! TEN STARS !! Please say "hello" to little Margot !!!

Nice Coffee. Bacon butty was toasted in a pannie toaster.

We really enjoyed our visit and would go back. 1 star was knocked off as the toilet wasn't fresh. It wasn't dirty or smelly but top cistern and other places didn't appear to have been wiped. Just needs someone to pop in and do wipe around.

Good food and coffee friendly staff and a nice atmosphere

A regular for us in Oswestry. The food is fairly priced and tasty and the cleanliness immaculate.

Milano's is my favourite place to eat, to have a coffee, to meet up with friends, in Oswestry - which is a high bar, because Oswestry is full of fabulous cafes and eateries. Milano's has great food, carefully prepared and presented. And super friendly service, too. Highly recommended!!

Fish and chips were over cooked with very thick batter and very little fish.

Fantastic full English breakfast, with black pudding that wasn’t on the menu but we asked anyway and a quick phone call to the kitchen confirmed they had some. Great service and coffees too.

First time we've visited and was so impressed with the freindly staff particularly the blond haired older lady was so helpful and freindly. The coffee is top notch and the Ginger cake is delicious. I will bob in again when visiting Oswestry.

Had a very nice meal Scampi Gougons and chips, cooked crispy which I like, not greasy, would definitely recommend 👌 😊

Went for a light lunch with friends and had some lovely homemade mushroom soup.

Busy little place at the lunch flashpoint. Recommend the tomato soup and turkey and brie sandwich.

Best English breakfast in Oswestry!

Would never eat here as they allow dogs sitting on the chairs and to wonder about off the lead. Coffee was nice but it worries me how hygienic it can be with dogs especially sitting on chairs other people will have to sit on

Went in for coffee but never again not sure how they can allow dogs to be walking about and then later the dog was sitting on a chair by the table. When we left you could see dog hairs on the chair not nice for anyone else coming in. This must be a breech of standards and not very hygienic but unfortunately the staff just seemed to ignore it. I certainly would not eat food due to this you cannot rely on how hygienic the tables are. One good point the coffee was lovely although I did have to clear the table of used crockery myself before we sat down

Easily the best coffee shop in Oswestry. Lots of room inside and a few outside tables and chairs.A range of lovely food, both savoury and sweet. Hot and cold drinks available. Positioned in a niche alleyway lined with flowers and plants, the surroundings are lovely. The best bit about them though, is undoubtedly their prices. They are the most reasonable in Oswestry and there is a back story as to why everything is low priced. It's a family owned and run business where profit comes second. The owners wanted good food and good coffee etc, to be available to everyone, especially to people who don't think they can afford to eat and drink out too often. Here at Milanos, everything is affordable and that is their priority, profit comes second. It is our regular treat whenever we are in Oswestry and we wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Nice place for a break and bite to eat. Can be busy at lunch so aim for a brunch or late lunch.

Very nice coffee, friendly staff, fast and efficient service. The Caribbean curry was very tasty. A good selection of teas. The ice cream sundae was good too. Dog friendly.

Sadly can’t give a better review. Front of house staff was unfriendly (clearly unhappy that we arrived 20 mins prior to last orders), food was unexciting and my jacket potato was overcooked (nearly burnt in fact).

Absolutely delicious! I had the pasta carbonara and it is 100% the best pasta I've ever had at a restaurant/Cafè. Our waitress was lovely and attended to any of our needs with a smile on her face. My mom had the jacket potato with beans and cheese, she loved it and my husband had the chicken burger which he also loved. The coffee too is absolutely lush. I will definitely be back, lovely spot for lunch and coffee. ☕️ 💖

Wanted somewhere to have some breakfast. Saw milanos as we walked from carpark, so went in. First impressions count and they was good. I had a breakfast and my wife had a bacon sandwich. Breakfast was very good, plenty of it, well cooked. My wife's bacon butty was enormous, never seen one with so much bacon. She said it was the best bacon sandwich she has ever had. Staff all very nice, friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. The only thing is no real outlook, because of where it is. But that doesn't detract from the quality.

The absolute best coffee in the town! Always consistent. Lovely friendly staff with a genuine smile. My regular place for a daily takeaway coffee, but also my place of choice for their amazing home-made soup or a lunch. Also cheaper than any of the chain cafes, and better quality.

Lovely little cafe located down a picturesque alleyway in Oswestry's main high street. Has downstairs & upstairs seating with a small conservatory type building at 1 side. Staff extremely pleasant & helpful & all food freshly cooked. Very reasonable with a good extended menu for all tastes. Definable worth a visit.

Set down an alleyway, this cafe is worth a visit. Nice looking building and clean inside. Staff very helpful. Had a panini which was reasonably priced and plenty of brie put on to go with turkey. Good priced and tasty cake selection.Coffee very good and at 2.95 for a large cup and was worth the money. Will visit again Visited 16/9/22 . Cafe inside still provides an ambience to relax and eat in. Three large breakfasts with one a gluten free option. The bacon, sausage and eggs in particular where tasty and would suggest local produce. The big breakfast was just that and so filling. Worth every penny of the reasonable price. Service was again nothing short of excellent. Always worth a visit as we will again

One of the best café's around Oswestry. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff and if you're lucky, they'll give you their delicious sausage rolls and cinnamon swirls as a treat with their great Barista coffee and coffee machine. Nice little Coffee shop location. However it could benefit from different staff or staff training. Never once asked what we would like to eat or drink, Instead the staff were more interested I talking about one of the waiters hair doo. Then when we ordered 2 teas and 2 slices of cake, I was amazed that the 2 cakes were given to us on 1 plate and had to ask for another plate. As we were sitting outside in the sun I thought they woukd bring our order out to us, despite staff standing around talking no one offered. I then had to make 3 journeys back and forth to the counter to get our tea milk jugs and cakes. Not even offered a tray. Absolutely terrible customer service. More interested chatting to each other.

It was very busy when we went, had lattes. The man doing this was very efficient with his staff so applaud him.

Friendly staff, great coffee and wonderful cooked breakfast. Small breakfast for less than £5.00 is anything but small.

The staff are so fit loving caring family did i mention they are fit, good home made food but obviously its made at the cafe not at home so cafe made mood. Overall a solid 22/7.3 on drinks and a good 10/10 on food. 🍕☕️ I never ask or take a receipt because I trust them with my life and obviously safe the turtles 🐢. Just spending time with them make morning, afternoon, evening, day, week, month and year with nothing but smiles and laughter. Better then other cafes in Oswestry definitely deserves to be located in a more top notch area like the high street. Easy to locate and very spacious and rather larger than many other cafe in Oswestry. All I’m saying is the place is top tier level 100 stuff on the battle pass can’t wait for next season definitely Deserves the level 100 skin. Recommend spending the V-Bucks in the item shop use code Milanos and get your £2.65 frappe today. Don’t be shocked when you see how fit they are it’s out of this work. 🥵😍

We had the small breakfast with a medium latte. It was as delicious and reasonably priced. We will be coming back soon.

Well, decided to come here for breakfast based on the reviews herein. What a mistake! The lady behind the counter seemed flustered in dealing with more than 1 customer at a time ( there were 2 couples in the queue) and had to take time out to phone upstairs for help) tool our breakfast order which we duly paid for on the card. Then went upstairs to wait for our food. When it eventually came my wife's veggie order had been replaced with a full meat plate. Had to wait 15 mins for that to be changed. Fault of the lady taking the order. Food was ok ish to good. And at least the waitress apologised but no offer of a drink to make up for the terrible service. Lived in the town 10yrs and first and last time here. Poor show.

Coffee good, cake dry and clearly a few days old, staff all but ignored me other than to take my order, preferring to chat amongst themselves and one of their friends who walked in behind me. Not a great experience overall, I’m sure it could be a lot better…

Very disappointed.......coffee was lukewarm and tasted treacly, drinking chocolate tasteless, banana cake too spicy and mostly sultanas, coffee and walnut cake rather dry. Large variety of cakes but no gluten free options. First time there and will definitely not go back.

A nice hidden away coffee shop. Service was nice and friendly, the shop itself was clean and well presented. I chose to sit outside on the pedestrian shopping pathway. However the cinnamon swirl I had was very warm (I believe because it had been sat in the sun) also the coffee although drinkable was far from the best I have had! Resulting in the lost star! (PS: just before I posted this full cooked breakfast was delivered to the table next to me and they looked amazing) 😋

I eat here every week with a friend. The coffee is excellent and the food is great. The staff are so clean and hygienic. As soon as they clear a table it is wiped and sanitised. The chairs are also sprayed. There is sanitiser to use before and after going to the toilet. What a great place, so much time and effort to keep us all safe at a time when they can only operate at a reduced capacity. Well done Milano's. Keep up the good work.
