Waitress Teresa was very friendly and helpful food came up quickly and was well cooked and good quality we had ribs, haddock and chips and half rotisserie chicken

One of the best experiences I’ve had in a pub around Liverpool street station, Shane specifically is a very attentive bartender, very friendly and is very fast with how quick he serves. He does bring an electric energy to the place whenever it feels empty and always lifts my mood

Most of the other pubs that we have visited in London are located in the high traffic, tourist, areas of the city. This is the first pub we have seen that catered (mainly) to the surrounding residential area. That said, many of the buildings are embassies and consulates, or the home of someone who lives overseas. LOL! I first saw this place over a week ago; down at the base of a dead end mews . It looked really interesting and I was determined to get back and check it out. We stopped in for an early dinner last night and found the pub pretty much full of after work drinkers. Mainly young singles in their 20s and 30s, socializing after work. It seemed many of them were regulars. Our dinner was simple (because they offer a very simple menu) and the food was quite good. We found the service excellent and the publican came over to visit with us at the end of the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are planning to go back again soon.

I hired out the room above the pub to host a baby shower and I have to say we were given good service by a nice gentleman called Lawrance Lovell (general Manager) who promised that we would be looked after. The pub provided the buffet which was a very large spread which was fantastic all the guest had a lovely time and would hire again and recommend to anyone who needs a space to hire...... Went here today for lunch after coming from kids play area more or less next door. Decent size pub weren’t to busy at midday which was good especially coming with little kid so didn’t have to worry much about making a lot of noise. Found seats easy in the corner and ordered our food at the bar. Took about 20 minutes for our food to come and it was warm was expecting it to be hot. Food was decent the gammon was very salty lucky had a large glass of drink. Only one person working doing everything run off her feet.

This is the worst Sunday roast I have ever had , I am not a 👩‍🍳 but this was the pits , can not believe they serve food like this and to top it all it was cold , gravy had a quarter inch skin on it , unbelievable

Over the last few months I have started to use this pub at lunchtime on my way home from work. All has been well until the past couple of days which have been a real disappointment and let down. Music so loud now it feels as if you are in a night club and worst of all Flat Cider! I have been a Licensee and Chef for over 35 years so I think I know what I am talking about. I was told by a very pleasant young lady that there is new management now. Heaven help if the manager happens to be the 'Gormless looking' young man behind the bar the past few days in the same Tatty T Shirt every day. Such a shame as I will now have to seek out a new local.

We stopped in on the first day of our visite and met very nice people that we became friends with over the 2 weeks there. Little hit or miss on bartenders being friendly but always got served in a timely manner. The beer was very good and the food was good. We ended up spending every night in the pub for 2 weeks..

Popped into the Horse & Groom for lunch - so glad I did. Obviously have a new Chef as the Sunday Roast (beef) was to die for. The Chef served the food himself and what a lovely guy he is. Have eaten in here a few times food been good but this Sunday was 100% improvement please keep hold of your new chef. Also have to mention the young girl behind the bar (new) what a breath of fresh air - chatty smiley happy in her job. Please keep up the good work .

Früher war ich ganz selten im "Horse & Groom", aber in den letzten Tage eigentlich zuerst aus Verlegenheit, dann aber noch einmal. Das Essen ist gut, die Bedienung ist freundlich und die Preise sind phänomenal. Wer zu zweit kommt, erhält einen erheblichen Rabatt auf die meisten "Pub Gerichte". Die Qualität des Essens war überraschend gut - eindeutig über dem Durchschnitt, was man in einem Pub erwarten kann.

Increíble mal servicio por parte de un miembro del personal y personas del bar. Nunca experimenté una atención al cliente tan mala por parte de un miembro del personal en ningún otro lugar. No hay área para niños en absoluto, todo el mundo parece molestar a los niños. ¡Las damas detrás del bar eran groseras como una roca! No recomendado a menos que sea un jubilado único.

Less noisy and more civilised than the nearby Five Bells. We enjoyed well-made gin and tonic and Bloody Mary with a little bowl of cashews. The outside area wouldn’t win any prizes for charm but it was quiet. Friendly service.

No es mi local, pero los caballos y el novio se ha convertido en un lugar de mi semana normal una vez. Personal amable y acogedor bar; una selección de cervezas y artesanías de cerveza. Como vegetariano es genial ver que en cada mesa junto al menú de comida regular hay un menú vegetariano vegetariano/dedicado y no sólo una selección limitada. Mención especial para el gerente de catering - Jo ella siempre se asegura de que las comidas son de alta calidad y bien presentado.

Grosero personal del bar. Gerente grosero. Precios poco claros. Tratamientos falsos. Precio en el menú cambiado por el gerente con bolígrafo después del pedido, por lo tanto, no hay más remedio que pagar por una orden incorrecta de bebidas. Estamos un poco predispuestos ya que este es nuestro local, pero el Horse and Groom es realmente un pub encantador para ir con amigos y familiares. Las bebidas tienen un precio muy razonable, el pub tiene un ambiente muy acogedor y hay muchos espectadores de pantalla ancha que muestran el deporte durante todo el día. Lo que completa este precioso pub es el amable personal. En nuestra visita más reciente, el pub estaba bastante lleno para las semifinales de la UEFA, pero Jo, Sarah y Damien estaban en la pelota, llegaron a todos y a un ritmo impresionante. Regularmente pop en una copa y siempre me pareció un buen pub, sin embargo va a comer aquí. La señora que nos servía era preciosa, pero parecía increíblemente nervioso y podía hacer con mucho más entrenamiento, cuando pedimos las bebidas no sabía cuánto la cuenta vino a ella como bendiga dijo que la total, así tranquilamente no oía ella. Cuando pedimos de asados - dos panceta de cerdo, preguntamos si había alguna salsa de manzana que podría haber en el lado, como nos dimos cuenta de uno de los otros platos venían con salsa de manzana. Nos aseguró el asado de cerdo con salsa de vino, sin embargo apple cuando llegó no. Por 8 libras. 99 entiendo que no va a ser el mejor asado de mi vida, pero la calidad era muy pobre. Las patatas asadas debe haber sido frito, ya que fuera de aceite y degustación fuertemente eran más como patatas fritas. Las verduras de temporada, que era difícil en mi experiencia es debido a que el cerdo del vientre y superficial estaba seco, duro y realmente no tienen ningún sabor, también parecía que había estado merodeando por horas. Lo único que puedo comparar la comida para la cena es un asado de Islandia. Nos espera casi media hora para esta comida para llegar y, encima, a mi pareja un poco de plástico en su cena, que si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habría quejado, pero estábamos un poco pegadas y no quería problemas. Espero que se clasifique sus asados en el futuro 8. Parece bastante empinada para 99 algo puedes conseguir congelados y microondas como en casa por una fracción del precio.

Este pub es parte de la cadena verde king, pero no bajarlo para que, buena comida, buen servicio y esos pequeños detalles que suelen estar ausentes de un establecimiento de la cadena. . . . Flores frescas en todas las mesas, una vela que venga y luz para ti (ver detalles) El inesperado personal están atentos, pero no agobiante, la comida está bien presentado y sabroso. Venga. . Incluso puede ver usted. Allí como su estatus a nuestra nueva pasaron local :-)

Mi pinta de costo sidra a menos de 4 libras, lo que fue una agradable sorpresa! El personal y otros clientes también fue muy amable.

Organizamos nuestra familia Navidad aquí para 20 personas, el servicio era fantástico, la comida era genial y todos nos lo pasamos un día fantástico. Todo el personal es muy amable y el día hizo sentir muy especial.

4 de nosotros fuimos a este pub, ya que pasar una noche en un hotel cercano. Fuimos a pedir comida bastante tarde en la noche y esperaba que fuera bastante caro ya que es Londres. 3 de nosotros pedimos filete de pollo y 1 ordenados. Tuvimos que esperar unos 40 minutos, pero era taaan bien merece la pena esperar. La carne estaba cocinada a la perfección y las porciones eran muy generoso. Todos nos lo pasamos bien como bebidas y pagamos menos de 60 libras para el lote. El personal también era muy amable y no podía hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Bien merece una visita si estás en la zona.

As an aficionado of ancient pubs with masses of character, dark corners and loads of obscure beers, it's perhaps not utterly unsurprising that I am not completely sold on this place. The thing is, there's nothing wrong with it. It's rather cavernous, to my mind, and the decor is not as warm and welcoming as it might be. It has fruit machines, background music and an idiot box upon which the football was playing. All of the aforementioned aren't really me, but it doesn't make it a bad place! Service is a little rushed and somewhat erratic. The beers available were good enough if not numerous. I wouldn't make a trip to visit this place but it's great if you're passing and have had enough of shopping. The place is full of locals, which is a good thing: on the evening me and the semi-blonde were there there were many couples, a herd of football fans and a screeching gaggle of girls out on a hen party (I think?). Certainly the best pub in the area that I am aware of, anyway, although I shall be sure to drink my way around the district and let you know.

My partner and I went out for a last minute mid week meal. The service was friendly ad's quick, and the food was very good - we both had steak, it was beautifully cooked and not an ounce of fat. The sides were generous and nicely cooked. A real surprise having only previously been on for a drink. We'll definitely be going back.

First of all, I work in hospitality. I went on Saturday 1st of October evening. There was two of us. I went to order food at 9:30pm. They told me they had no more vegetarian options. My girlfriend (she´s vegeterian) told me that she would be ok with just fries. I want it the chicken and bacon burger but with beef instead of chicken. They told me they couldn't do it. So I ordered the gourmet burger with bacon fries and a portion of normal fries. The waitress took 25 minutes to put that order through. I also ordered one bottle of sol and one of cider. They didn´t have anymore sol in the fridge. The waitress charged me for the food and one drink while she went to see if they had more sol at the back. She came back to tell me that they didn't have anymore of that drink or the bacon fries. I went to my table with my drinks and I got my burger with no extra fries for my girlfriend. I asked the waitress and she told me that she put only the burger on the system. I went to the til again to pay for the extra fries and the kitchen refused to give me one portion of fries because it was past 10pm. I wanted a vegetarian dish, a chicken and bacon burger with beef, one beer and one cider and I got a gourmet burger, a cider and a becks. They should be embarrassed if that happens in their pub on a Saturday night.

Nice selection of craft beers. Quiet beer garden out back. But could do with a clean and sprucing up and it would be fantastic as the building facade is lovely. The clientele wasn't great the day I visited; too many drunks and creeps just sort of hanging around pestering people.

I frequently pop in here for a pint of real Ale and some good pub grub. Service is good and its a nice friendly pub

This place seems ok at first, but there are thieves around, don't turn your back on anything! I had belongings stolen and then was left to feel like I had done something wrong by the locals! hideous

If you're looking for a pub to watch the football, have a few pints or good value pub-grub then this place ticks all those boxes. It's an average pub really with a typical pub menu - some meals are on a 2 for £11 menu, such as burgers/fish & chips. It has a few TV screens and shows the football/sport. Not muh to remark upon but nothing to complain about either!

Mi noche acá es sin duda una de las mejores de mi vida, tienen en el segundo piso espacio para cenar, los fish & chips son los tradicionales, delicioso!!!Topamos con la grata sorpresa que esa noche se presentaría un señor, creo que Irlandes... tenía un repertorio super variado, él cn su voz y guitarra en mano puso a todos a bailar y cantar .Muy feliz por lo clásico y único del momento me salí del pub casi de última :)

Nice location and exterior. Calm place. Went there for dinner but, besides the menue stating otherwise, the kitchen was already closed. Had a quick pint and left.

The palce is nice and clean, the food was better than expected, well not all of it anyway (don't order scampi or risotto), and we had no problem with the service. Good prices as well.

Food was okay, not bad for the lunch deal price. Service was average. Probably wouldn't visit again, but for a cheap pub lunch it wasn't bad.

A friend of mine was here for a first date - she happens to be gay. During the date, much as with any date a person may go on, her and her partner shared a first kiss. To their shock, the bartender came over to them and told them that while they were a gay friendly Pub, they did not want to see the two women kissing and didn't want it in their faces.I met them later and understandably they were both very, very upset and shocked. We can compare how sickeningly phobic this is by comparing it to asking a straight, interracial couple to stop being affectionate to one another in public. This is 2015. Not 1970. Quite frankly, Horse & Groom are lucky that the police weren't involved. This is disgustingly blatant homophobia and i will be ensuring that every one local is aware of this.

So impressed at this pub. Refurb has made such a difference. First time I'd been in and couldn't get over how friendly the manager and staff were. How nice it now looks and generally what a great pub it's turned into. Well worth checking out!

Quando viajamos ,você as vezes não sabe onde comer mas quando visitamos o Castelo de Windsor fizemos um lanche rápido neste local que é bem simples mas foi aquela coisa feita para não perder tempo nos passeios

I met a friend at the Horse and Groom for lunch which was great value with a good selection of meals at very good prices . The food was really good and well presented. It is quite a large premises with a pool area to the rear. Although it was a Saturday afternoon and very busy the staff were on the ball, very friendly and the service was prompt. If you are in the area I would recommend a visit, It is close to Streatham Hill train station and most bus routes.
