Food is delicious but when we order the bloke behind the phone reads us back the order and has everything correct but when the order is wrong we call em back and he claims he hasn’t charged us for the meal I’ve ordered from here for ages and it happens all the time

Used numerous times now and haven’t had a bad dish yet Great food always on time highly recommended

After calling Hongs to tell them how disappointed I was with their food.. prawn toast burnt…. Chicken satay chewy …. BBQ spare ribs no flavour and also chewy …. Costing £18.30 only to be told no one else has complained AND DONT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN GET IT OVER THE ROAD….WHAT DISRESPECT AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE… WOULDN'T BUY FROM YOU AGAIN ANYWAY…

Ordered from Hongs today for the first time. Very impressed with service, taste and quality of food. Staff very helpful especially Jack who went above & beyond.

Ordered from Hongs for the first time tonight and was really impressed. Really tasty, and the set menus are good value too. You will need cash on delivery, rather than the ease of using an app.or card but you won't regret it

Great fresh food, no MSG, would defo recommend but delivery starts too late and takes too long

Tonight service was appalling! As soon as they answered we were put on hold and the person on the phone was rude. After waiting an hour food still hadn't arrived so put in another call and was told 10 mins still nothing arrived and called again was told 5 mins. It eventually arrived after another 15 mins later. Driver had been given the wrong address at least 4 times and had taken my mobile number down wrongly so driver couldn't contact us. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

Tried ordering on the phone, real bad language issues, finally get order correct then find out prices gone up a lot and they only accept cash on delivery.... so order cancelled

This is my favourite local Chinese, flavoursome food 😋 always willing to accommodate changes or adding extra...hope to see restaurant part open again soon 😀

Ordered takeaway from here for the second time last night. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. But what most impressed me was the fact that they had missed two pancake rolls from our order and I didn't notice until I'd brought the food home. They were extremely polite and apologetic and arranged for the missing items to be delivered and they arrived within 5 or 10 minutes with another apology. Excellent service and makes you feel they really appreciate their customers. Great food and great people.

So disappointing. We’ve regularly ordered from Hongs for the last 8 years because the food used to be delicious. The last few times have been below standard. The quality and portion size has gone down and the price has gone up, plus they have given us the wrong dish. Not to mention the woman in there is rude. We will be finding a new regular Chinese restaurant.

Had dinner take away: soup, chow mein, curry etc. Everything was very fresh and delicious. My whole family enjoyed it! Made our evening. The price is very reasonable too. The staff was helpful, polite, tidy and friendly. 👍 will order again next week!

Have been using this take away for quite a few years and always been good. However since lock down their prices have jumped up nearly £ 1 per dish, not only that the quality of the chicken seems to be really cheap cuts or they have changed their cooks. I for one am going elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting. The chicken was all skin and fat and in no way resembled chicken at all. I will never buy from here again after the one time I tried it. Avoid this one like a covid ward

One of my favourite take aways in the area always quick and brilliant food. As a small way to improve service would be to take card for delivery for convenience.

Slurp. Can't write much because when I think about this place my salivation levels could result in fatal dehydration. Go there once and they will own your soul. And no, I am not getting a discount for this.

Curry sauce nasty tried it meal was horrible the sauce makes the meal but worst thing I ever had I will never return off put for life!!!!

Tasty Chinese food available here. My family seems to like the food every time I order from these guys and the staff here are very friendly. One can also dine at the restaurant and the place is very clean.

Good value food, the staff are very friendly and good with children. The restaurant is clean and it has a window in to the kitchen and it looks very clean. The food is good quality and tasty.

The best Chinese takeaway I’ve been to. Fast service and very very helpful workers who catered to my very picky food choices. Will be coming back for some more.

Takeaway and restaurant in one. The restaurant menu is slightly different, but excellent value. I had the chinese vegetable curry with egg fried rice for £4.50. Large plate and what a bargain. Not a place for a romantic meal, but good for a plate of nosh if you can't be bothered to cook!

I've been using this takeaway for many years now and not really had any problems, has not always been the best but the last 2 times have been spot on and I'm looking forward to my Chinese tonight.

Just had a very questionable chicken curry. The chicken was not chicken!!! It looked like chicken but tasted like squid; slimy and jelly-like. Very weird texture. I will stay away from this restaurant and so should everybody else.

Perfect delivery and perfect food We had the s2 ... Set meal it includes crispy duck , you get so much food and it always comes nice a hot . The food is perfect

We drive over from Beckenham although there are plenty of Chinese Take-aways there we much prefer Hong's. We have never had a bad dish, they are quick, inexpensive and there food is always spot on.

Maybe I am too picky about the food and the place. I order some pancake rolls and some dishes, but I found them oily and soggy. Especially, the crispy beef.. it wasnt crispy at all... its chewy, soggy and oily. I dont think I would go back and recommend the place. When I told the staffs the food was not up to my standard,they become grumpy and didnt seem to like us. In the end, we left and didnt leave any tips...
