Had takeaway tonight warm up chips spare ribs gone off

My boyfriend ordered our dinner here and it was horrible, the only decently good dish was the fried rice with chicken, the duck noodles were burned in the wok, the fried pineapple had the same bad batter as the chicken balls is an absolutely porous and hard batter you could see that the batter is not put correctly and the lemon chicken you can see that it was passed even before cooking it. I will not order food in this place again and I am very sorry because I live literally on the same street and it was our first time. I hope that if you order here you have better luck than us. My daughter got very sad on her Asian food night. Bit disappointed with my food last night as this place is usually outstanding chips where all hard chicken balls where hard as looks like they had been cooked for to long will have to have a think about ordering from here again. It would be a perfect place if they cook the food well since the portions are huge but today we have thrown away £16 since we ordered one of fried pineapple and two servings of sweet and sour chicken and they are not cheap (to be poorly done and throw them away), if it were all delicious it would be so great...

Massive portions and good quality. Friendly staff

People might think it has closed due to lack of review in the last 4 months, but in reality it's one of Sheffield's better Chinese Take away. Though it's a cash only establishment, the taste of the food and the service given by the aunty is on par with famous Chinese restaurants down in london

Tonight was a disappointment. It’s my go to comfort take away. But this evening the crispy shredded chicken in sweet and sour sauce was just chicken in sweetened tomato ketchup. What’s your with that?

Cantonese style fried steak and boiled rice was perfect .. enjoyed every bit of the huge portion supplied. Definitely recommend it. Number 33 on the Menu in Main Meals. Also, I received some free mini Spring Rolls Lovely knowledgeable Staff will Talk you through the menu and describe every dish so you can try something new. I picked the Cantonese style fried steak Myself and was going to have Egg fried Rice with it but was it Recommended to me to Have booked rice as the sauce ( Barbecue flavour quite sweet ) would flavour the rice 🍚 And it did, and it was delicious Definitely Going Back

Not bad, but first time ordering, chips hard and chicken a bit strange, probably won't order again unless we're desperate as our normal Chinese is closed at the moment but release they're better than we realized 🙂

2 And Half Hours Delivery! Was advised 1 and half hours. Missed off prawn toast! One mushroom in the chicken curry. Salt and pepper chips was way to salty, and 3 peppers! Very poor! Will not be ordering again /

Would not recommend Hong Kong in Chap. We ordered a take away last night in the afternoon for a slot in the evening. The food didn't arrive so called them and advised would be another 20 minutes. Asked if I could come and collect it instead. Fine with this. When I got there five minutes later my order had been taken out by the delivery person. Got home food arrived about 15 to 20 minutes later and lukewarm. Half of order missing. We had ordered and paid for four main courses and only received two. Tried to call them but constantly engaged. Got through about two hours later. All of this I didn't have a problem with as they were clearly busy and mistakes happen. What did annoy was that I was asked to drive down for the refund. Drove down. No apology and advised that even though two of the main courses hadn't been delivered and had been paid for I couldn't have a refund and was only entitled to a credit note. I said I wasn't happy with this and that I wanted a refund. I asked several times for a refund and this was refused. I then told her that I would be putting a review on social media. Eventually I was given a refund for the two missing main course. Rant over. Wil stick to either Cardomens or Highgreen Grill, bothwhich are amazing until my favourite the Chine

Excellent again. Not stodgy like most Chinese take-aways I know. Travelled to China on business quite a bit over that past 25 years and I believe this is as authentic as we'll get so close to home. The free mini spring rolls were a nice touch.

Just phoned to order food for a few family and friends but unfortunately they don’t take card payments, missing some business there as it seems to have some better reviews than others in the area, will have to go to the flying dragon for a kitten chow main and dog fried rice 🙄

Recently enjoyed a superbly cooked vegetarian selection from this gem of a takeaway in Chapeltown, it's always been consistently good whenever we've ordered. Highly recommended, great value and the staff always friendly.

Nice food overall but less than experienced staff member (English woman) not the Chinese owners. Sad to see she doesn't even know the menu!
