I have placed order at owler lane for pickup i went after 30 mins but still they said we r packing it. I got order n came home. I ordered the hot flavour and recieved lemon n herb.We hate this flavour. I spoke to the staff told them that I recieved wrong order they said to me to bring it back to store. Like what the hell is this. No store does like this. Im never driving 10-13 mins to take food back n getting new food. The staff was rude aswell she kept me waiting on line and said I have asked staff they have made the right one. Was a big fan of pepe's but not going to pepe's anymore.

If you gonna charge 50p for peri salt at least put it on always robbing the customer the number of times things have been missing had enough.

Instead of helping us the person told us to scan the code and move aside and come when you are ready. This is not the customer service we expect from any chain. PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM THIS TAKEAWAY! Disgusting service towards loyal customers. They got our order wrong, made us wait till they got the right one delivered to us which they delivered to the wrong address and when the right one came half the order was missing! Rang the takeaway and they couldn’t do anything cos it was ordered via uber and we live 2 streets away! Never in my life have I faced such appalling service from start to finish. The uber driver said he would correct the missing items and never came. And to the people who are half our order, your just as sick on firth park road. As goes for the takeaway, you lost one of your local customers who have been ordering from you for years and did nothing to fix or help. If this was Nando’s, it would’ve easily been fixed. Always an issue in the south Asian community.

Sure the food is tasty, but it’s not worth £12 for a burger and chips and drink. Also was told after I had paid that it would be a 30 minute wait, maybe tell me that before and I would have gone elsewhere. The guy who gave me my food was very friendly but the girl who served me on the till just kept asking too many questions and I felt like I had to repeat myself. Seemed like she was trying to push extras like cheese and sides too much.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now and I come as much as I can as I live in Chesterfield, But omg so worth the journey, the food is to die for, There extreme xl burger is the best I’ve had and I eat out alot, If you haven’t been then get down there and thank me later, The owner is so nice and the staff, Would highly recommended 💯👌🔥🔥

The first time, I thought it might just be a mistake, but when it happened again, it became clear that this is a consistent problem. To make matters worse, UberEats refused to refund me for the missing items, leaving me frustrated. It’s disappointing that a restaurant would continually get orders wrong and that their delivery partner doesn’t take responsibility either. I won’t be ordering from here again unless they address these issues. Terrible customer service all around. This isn’t just about an occasional mistake—it’s about a pattern of poor service, careless preparation, and an unwillingness to make things right. I strongly urge Pepes to address these recurring issues, and I hope UberEats reevaluates how they handle customer complaints. Until things change, I won’t be ordering from Pepes again, and I suggest others think twice before doing so. There are plenty of other options with more reliable service out there.

This branch used to be brilliant but until recently it has gone down hill . I think staff changes are a major issue here . Communication is really bad . Ordered a large and got a small , gave me wrong drink , & sauce , asked for plain fries got peri fires . Not just once but on several occasions. I know they are trying their best but honestly basic training for listening would be highly beneficial or bring back old staff who understand English.

I waited for almost 30 minutes and they didn’t start making my order until I got to the counter asking about it.. absolutely horrible service and their excuse is that they lost my order. The lady watched as I sat for half an hour as she was giving orders to people that came after me but didn’t take the initiative to check on my order knowing I had come first.

Thank you for the 100 irrelevant dips in the bag but I'm sorry you should really check you include the paid for dips & food! We had a web order which took a whole hour to get ready & then ALL the chips were missing upon reaching home, one of the chicken pieces was missing. With these prices you should really double check orders! Oh and nothing was written on orders such as which wrap is hot and which is extra hot👏🏻

I've ordered here a few times now and each meal has been been amazing. The full chickens have been succulent with plenty of sauce, enough sauce for two people. Our meals have never disappointed.

Manager there so rude, was going to order but the manager in a white car that works there, didn't let my kids go toilet saying order first, because toilets are for Customers only, I said I am going to order but my kids needs to go the toilet desperately. He's like, not my kids, not my problem. I love Pepe's chicken . Their flavour is delicious. As I'm sensitive to hot sauce, I either buy mild or lemon and herb flavour. But never disappointed. The grilled chicken is very well marinated. The sauce will boost for a finger licking flavour. The service is excellent. I always make online orders and collect them.

Disgusting food. Ordered in Uber eats and they gave us old stinking chicken, I called easily 12 times. No one answered. It was for Iftar, and none of us could eat the food as it was old and it was cooked twice and it smelt. Disgusting. Not to mention the chicken itself had hair on it. Not to mention £25 including delivery.

Ordered from here through Deliveroo. Food was delivered after an hour and 15 minutes. We ordered a whole peri peri chicken, and a "Chicken XL burger meal" for a start the whole chicken was in a bag, with absolutely no juices or sauce, it was tasteless, dry and overcooked. The "Chicken XL Burger" for £7.70 was a tiny burger smaller than a McDonald's double cheese burger, which as a flagship burger is overpriced and shocking really. It had some mayo, a few strands of lettuce and a very thin piece of dry overcooked chicken. The mayo on the burger was pretty tasty. The garlic sauce was warm and tasted like water with a hint of garlic, the chips were also freezing and tasteless First time I've tried Pepe's as I'd heard good things. Definitely won't be ordering again.

As someone from the south, the overall experience is considerably better, especially when compared to the somewhat exorbitant prices I encounter in London. Despite the legal mugging for a dip, the humorous banter from the staff and the overall ambiance add to the positive atmosphere. This review primarily focuses on the food, and I've observed that it tends to be generously sauced, which is a definite plus for this establishment. So far, the food has been consistently amazing, prompting me to return. While I typically opt for the rice box, I plan to explore other menu options in the future.

Lovely staff makes lovely food Best food ever

Popped in for the first time as passing by, totally delicious 😁😁 Mo was our sever and he talked us through the menu as we hadn't been before. We had a burger and wrap, both with extreme hot sauce. Food was cooked fresh, tasted amazing and the sauce was the perfect heat. Thanks guys we will be back 😁😁

Definitely the best Pepe's branch around! First of all, me and my husband would like to thank the brother that served us from the bottom of hearts (We think he said his name was Moin). Not sure if he was the owner or not. Myself, my husband and a couple of brothers had been working all day fundraising for Charity Right. So we popped into this branch for dinner, before a long drive home back to Middlesbrough and London. Upon finding out that we work for a charity, the brother was very generous, he heavily discounted our meals and even treated us four to karak chai for our journey home from next door. Also, not being biased because of the reason mentioned above, we genuinely travel to Sheffield time to time which is an hour and a half away from us for this particular branch. As the food is always amazing Alhamdulilah. Keep up the good work Insha'Allah. Jazak'Allah Khairun for your generosity brother. The service was exceptional and most importantly the food was really tasty. The tall br with a beard i think he's name is Moin is extremely friendly Masha'Allah. When he heard we were from London on a charity mission he gave us a generous discount and even went out of his way to get us Karak Chai from next door. What a generous and kind hearted man. We need more kind people like you in this world. May Allah bless you and bless this amazing business ameen. Will definitely return if in Sheffield again.

I've ordered from here multiple times in the past via pickup and delivery apps. Great customer service, staff are very welcoming and food has always been good and very tasty, their extreme marinade is no joke! 😂 I recently had an issue with a delivery order where one of my items where missing. Deliveroo being themselves, told me I couldn't have a refund and offered me no alternative. I then contacted the store to see if they would help me with this. The person I spoke to told me to pop in whenever I would be free and he will personally resolve the issue. I went to the store and they prepared me the missing food item as well as giving me something extra for my troubles. That's what I call exceptional customer service. They didn't have to give me anything as the matter should have been resolved through Deliveroo's customer service. But they went out of their way to help me. This is something I will always appreciate and will continue to order my work lunch from here. Thank you Hashim and Kammy for helping me when I visited the store

Disgusting! Placed an order over the phone got there was wrong order told it was 15 minutes to correct the order was then told 15 minutes later they could not do a new order as they was too busy and was given a refund. This is not very good customer service and have been coming regular no compensation was offered for time wasted and petrol

I visited Pepe's at this location for the first time and the staff were very friendly and helpful and wow I really enjoyed the food and even the variety of sauces they gave to try were spot on. I ordered the fish burger meal and I just wish it was bigger but next time I'll be ordering double for myself 🙂. Overall the food and service 10/10 for me and I sure will be going back for more very soon.
