You will feel like you are in Hong Kong when you enter this place :) Very tight seating and they sell everything that you can imagine. Tried their roast meat rice and it taste really good! Would love to try their wok dishes which looks great too. Will go there again definitely.

The service at this restaurant is very good and the ingredients are very fresh. I have tried the barbecued pork, which is relatively authentic in the UK. I also like their spareribs very crispy and the freshly fried spring rolls are particularly delicious.

Food: not great taste and not the authentic hong kong flavour. Service: paper plates for nearly everything. Extremely wasteful. Waiter reluctantly gave us a proper bowl for rice when he initially handed us a small paper container. Atmospheres: Small and cramped. A bin is placed right next to a table by the entrance where the paper plates are discarded right by your shoulder. Trash was allowed to stack so high that it makes you feel like you're sitting in a trash dump. There's nothing Hong Kong about this restaurant. Avoid at all costs.

Quite disappointed. I ordered silky egg with shrimp rice. More than 4/5 of the box is just rice! Silky egg and shrimp is in really tiny portion. It was acceptable portion a few months ago ago.

Ordered rice and noodle chicken prawns and they tryed to serve raw prawns ... Came up to 14£ and the portion was only 3 prawns and 2 little pc of chicken waste of money completely scam do not recommend at all the boy behind the till doesn't even speak English but also rude... Never ever again

I found this place accidentally while walking around Liverpool street area, and now it is my usual dining place for satisfying my Chinese stomach. Once I had silky egg prawns on 🍤 rice, with coffee milk tea; I also tried the beef brisket and radish clay pot with rice - perfect for bleak winter weather in London. All so good! If you are familiar with Chinese/Cantonese cuisine, the food is really authentic. No doubt! The place also reminded me of the Cha chaan teng in Hong Kong. The staff are so friendly, even during peak hours, they are attentive and trying their best to serve customers in a speedy way. Really hope people can be kind enough and respect the efforts.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID this place is an absolute waste of time. My food had hair buried underneath at the bottom of the food and no it was not mine as my hair was tied up. I informed the worker and she just started laughing and refused to give me a refund. I feel so disgusted and I want my £17.30 back!! The taste was awful, not fresh, the absolute worst tasting Chinese place you COULD EVER think of i would not return back if it was the last thing to eat on Earth! A waste of time and money the place needs to get shutdown and investigated immediately!!!!

This is my first time here, original tasts, kind service, recommended to all London Chinese.

Worst food ever ! I can’t believe I spent my hard earned money on that. To begin with i was shocked to say the least that they were serving us with paper plates. I have never wished I checked Google reviews before eating in such an establishment. The portions were not adequate for the price of the food they warmed ready made food in the microwave and the meat was still cold despite their attempts. The shrimp dumplings were rubbery and dry with no sauce to accompany it. However the cherry on top was that my friend found a short black hair at the bottom of her rice which was utterly disgusting and completely put me off my food. We reported this to a staff member and she replied with no urgency and proceeded to show us the chef had barely any hair despite her hair being down (the kitchen and till are basically the same place) and also her colleague who also worked in the kitchen had his hair out. My friend had her hair braided down and mine was ginger so it definatley did not come from us. She offered her another meal which my friend declined then She denied us a refund and we did not even argue as we already started feeling sick due to the hair encounter. They should be investigated and I want my £19.30 back ! A disgrace to Chinese food

Delicious fast and authentic. Comforting, rich and memorable. Excellent service!! Chicken noodle soup, dumplings, prawn and rice noodle hot pot and a big pile of steamed green beans. Lemon tea. Freakin delicious. Kids loved it. No frills - and all the better for it.

I stumbled upon this place as it was torrential rain and couldn't bear to be soaked. I was actually heading towards three uncles for my 2 roast meat fix. Thought I'd give this a try. It was cheaper and looked authentic with the hanging chicken, duck, and pork belly at the window. As it was takeaway..service good. Atmosphere...standing by doorway looking at drenched passerby. Can't blame the restaurant for the view. Back to the food.. I ordered roast duck and char sui and rice. Duck was meaty, char sui was small and OK. Ordered chicken and pork belly... chicken was a bit bony and small, and the pork belly seemed to have a layer missing. It's quite thin and disappointing. The rice was the worst..plastic and chewy. They could invest a bit more on the rice as it makes the difference between a good or bad meal. A good sack of 10kg jasmine rice is not that much more expensive, maybe £5-£8 more. Pros- duck and char sui was good. There is no need to pay extra for soy sauce and ginger spring onion ( for the chicken) Cons- Rice rice chewy rice, the more I chew the more not nice. Skinny pork belly Skinny chicken I wish the rice was better. 😞

I didn’t enjoy the food at all. I ordered chicken chow mien. Too oily, no flavours, minimal ingredients, chicken was so less. Not coming here again. Served in cheap plastic plates.

The food portions are definitely worth the price and very tasty! I loved the fast pace service and the kindness of the hosts. Definitely would recommend the fresh ice lemon tea instead of the bottled one! It was delicious and refreshing!! I would love to come again

Their food is disgusting. I feel like I was eating plastic. And the food is not fresh, which makes it taste more disgusting. Another strange thing is they ask for service charge as soon as customers have ordered food. Never see any restaurants ask for service charge before customers see their food.

The one star is on the staff. Went couple of times already and the service level drops. The attitude of the staff at the cashiers was awful. I stood in front of two staff at the cashier waiting long time for ordering, they just keep chatting to each other ignoring the customer been wait for a while until I was being serviced. The staff employed previously was way better, those now - NO

This is more for a quick bite after the pub. I had the traditional dish, duck, roast pork, barbecue pork on a bed of rice. Taste was bland more like plastic. Maybe being served on a plastic biodegradable plate doesn't help. My wife ordered chicken on rice, which they forgot. I had already finished my dinner before they realised. They then said they didn't have any chicken left 😤. She had barbecue pork on rice instead. Very disappointing. We also had a plastic plate of green beans, not good 😐 We ate at 9pm on a Thursday evening. Green tea served in a paper cup 🙄. Only come here if you can't make it to Chinatown for a more authentic experience and better quality food. We wanted to give it a try, but I wouldn't come here again. The pictures look better than the taste! 😞🫢

HK Chaa Chan Teng feel ! HK style milk tea was the right balance of strong fragrant tea & milk. We tried beef rice noodle which was properly stirfried & the tender char sui scrambled egg rice was tasty especially with their homemade chili sauce. A nice authentic taste of Home Kong ;)

I heard the clerk say that this restaurant seems to be in the same place as the Japanese restaurant next door, and they share the same toilet. There is a charge for internal use, but I personally think it is acceptable. The indoor space is a bit narrow but the seats are comfortable. The store clerk is very friendly and it is a pre-meal checkout type. I ordered the radish and beef brisket noodle soup, which was a big portion. The taste was a bit too strong for me. The noodles were classic Hong Kong-style noodles and the meat was generous!

If you want authentic Hong Kong style cuisine, this is NOT the place to go. It is more Hong Kong inspired mainland Chinese food. Plus, the cashier was so mean I was so shocked about her attitude. I ordered a half roasted duck take away, and it was dreadful. It is one of the worst places you could pick around this area. It’s a big no no for me. Such a stark contrast from the service and food quality of 雲貴川 which is literally minutes away.

The dry-fried beef noodles are top-notch. The beef and noodles are tender and delicious. You will come back to find the flavor after eating them.

The side dishes are very rich in flavor, it is recommended to try the sweet and sour pork and tofu hot pot 👍

Went in today to see if I could grab some lunch. Asked the staff if it's OK for me to sit, they agreed....but as I was looking at the menu, the staff decided to inform me that they were closed. Why seat someone and then go on a tangent ?! All that was needed was to say sorry we're closed. I walked out, refuse to give my business and attention to rude and ignorant people. Avoid id say.
