Have ordered takeaway from here a few times. The food has been ok in the past but has been disappointing the last couple of times. They have also messed up my order on two occasions. Once they sent the wrong item and then the second time they missed two items off completely. Both times someone in my family had to sit and watch everyone else eat while we waited for the correct food to be delivered.

Both me and my wife are really ill with food poisoning... used to be nice

Been meaning to try this place and so glad I did, I think this is my new favourite Chinese although I'll have to go again just to be sure. I popped in and got crispy chicken, fired rice, chicken soup n prawn crackers, £15 seemed reasonable. The meal was delicious and the meat seemed better quality than my previous usual. Service was fast and lady on counter polite and friendly I'll be back soon to try more

Had deep fried shredded beef in peking sauce and noodles. Best ive ever had from a takeaway.

Great food lovely staff but lately they have been getting my order wrong 3 or 4 times they have given me the wrong order.Again tonight 1/2/2025 wrong order given. if i could have been bothered i would have called or took it back next time i will. either the person on the desk sending the wrong order through or the cooks aint reading the order properly. ending throwing some of it in the bin. sorry but todays order was a let down again Un happy customer

Been here for a take away a few times. Pleased each time. Food tastes great, always hot. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes to collect (amazing). Staff always pleasant. All you need from a take away really.

I hate leaving bad or negative reviews however, we were very disappointed with our takeaway tonight. We’ve been looking forward to trying Hong Kong Kitchen for a while now and tonight we finally ordered! The house special cashew nut dish was bland and the salt and pepper chilli chicken dish - plus the wings tasted like there was no salt in the dish at all. It reminded me of when I lost my taste having covid! On the plus side, delivery was perfectly timed, the food was piping hot and the prawn crackers were yummy! Such a shame about the other £35 we spent. Sorry Hong Kong Kitchen, please use seasoning in your dishes.

BBQ sauce was far too sweet the gravy was as black as tar with no taste, you can’t pay by card it’s got to be cash had to trail home for my purse 😫

We had a try on Friday 2nd November. Portion size was emense. But I must say nearly killed my partner he's just got out of hospital after food poisoning. He had king prawn curry. Has been on a drip for 24hrs after 2 nights and 3 days of D n V

Cash only. Food wasn’t the best in our opinion apart from sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style which was nice. We ordered chicken and spring onions which was quite bland compared to come places. Partner had spare ribs and said they hardly had any meat on at all compared to every other place he’s getting them from. Fried rice didn’t have much flavour either. Each to there own. Think we will stick to our usual Chinese takeaway.

This has to be the best Chinese I've eaten! The share meal box in phenomenal, as is the chowmein and BBQ sauce! Looking forward to trying the chicken in honey and chilli!!!! Can't wait to eat there again!

Best Crispy beef iv had in a long time. Honey chilli chicken and Japanese spicy beef unreal! My partner also ordered noodles and has craved them ever since she first ordered them! Hence why we come back here everytime

Food was lovely, although be wary if you have an intolerance to gluten as chips are cooked with other items so won't be gluten free.

Ordered meal for 2, well that was a lie it would of fed at least 4 😁, everything was amazing and I would highly recommend the beef in chilli & garlic 😋, order was ready to pick up 15 minutes after phone call. Fab service will definitely be back 👍

Not as good as its been made out to be.

Tried for the first time, service/delivery great, food in general good, however I'm not usually one to point out fault but the 1/4 crispy duck I ordered was pitifull in size it was like a 1/16 and wasn't nice and thanks for not sending the chips I ordered.

Had severalmeals from here,all good,but just had sweet and sour hong kong style with fried rice and it was the best sweet and sour I've ever had,fabulous. Not going anywhere else for Chinese.

The people serving were very polite and the food arrived quickly and at a reasonable price. the food wasn't great, I ordered the chilli salt and pepper shredded beef which had a lot of raw flour or something covering it and it was very dry. The chips weren't bad but if that is what I was looking for, I would have just gone to the McDonalds next door. It was better than I can make myself but I'll try somewhere else next time.

I ordered a few times from Hong Kong kitchen and never been un satisfied, until last night . I ordered ‘ ribs in peking sauce which were dry . The beef in fried rice was worse so dry and tasteless with hardly any beef , when I did find a bit of beef I couldn’t chew it so passed to my dog that didn’t really appreciate it . I usually love ribs in Cantonese sauce , but here it’s not very good . They seem to have started off well but standers are slipping. X

I have been trying to phone yourselves for nearly 2 weeks now and my calls have not ever been answered yet, I understand your a new business and things can be hard at 1st but surely someone is capable of answering a phone, and take an order, you have come highly recommended but am yet to experience this!! 😒

Been there twice way before there closing times according to Google. And they either have been closed or they turned the gas off so can't cook food 20 mins before 11pm closing time. They need to sort there opening/cooking times out.

Been here twice now, both times staff were lovely, service was quick and the portions were huge! Highly recommend the MEAL BOX it fed two teens with plenty left over! Ribs were unreal and just a lovely meal and wonderful staff!
