Lady on counter so unwelcoming never smiled said please or thank you aggressive on phone to other customers while i waited for my order. Told me order was ready never said thank you I saud thank you and goodbye and no response very poor customer service. Food was nice but won't go back due to rude customer service

Order from here quite often. Rang tonight and asked for chow mein. Order was verified and when I got home I realised there was no noodles. Couldn't get through on the phone so went down. Girl on the counter told me I got what I ordered. Told her she verified it on the phone and when I picked it up. She was very abrupt and told me I could have another chow mein or noodles if I paid for it. I understand accidents happen with orders, and that's fine, not the first time, but I don't appreciate being called a liar. Customer service means a lot and the lack of it tonight means I won't be ordering from them again

They have tuck money from my account and haven’t delivered my food and now I’m calling to get in contact with them but won’t let me ring them

Got a pork chow mein last night and after eating majority of it the last piece tasted sour so spat it in the bin I hope I don't get food poisoning as the other bits tasted fine but never will I order from here again

Everything for the past few weeks has been not as good as it was ,such a shame Wendy has left and opened a takeaway in Durham as it’s gone down hill now So sad Paul and sue Merry Christmas we left your present with sophie

Waited over two hours only to be told they were just starting to cook it when I called. Disgusting customer service from this restaurant. Never again.

I’ve ordered food from here for a number of years. Generally the food is delivered in 30 minutes. I placed an order tonight at 5.30pm. After waiting 2 hours, I rang them to ask where my food was. I was told the driver was on the way. After a further hour of waiting I went online to check my order and they’d marked it as being delivered! I’m currently in the process of trying to get a refund from food hub. I will never buy food from them again. Utter shambles.

Ordered chips and curry sauce. Curry sauce was nice but was hardly any on the chips

I've been going to this place for years and got a takeaway the other week and it came stone cold so rang them and they said they would replace in just rang up and I ordered them same and they said know one dish that's it so to me they have lost my costume

The food was delicious and very large portions would recommend giving it a try

Absolutely shocking food. Completely inedible. Waiting almost 2 hours for delivery. Spent almost 80 quid on food that went to waste. Tried phoning with no answer. Salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken had absolutely zero flavour and seasoning. Plain chips and chicken. Ribs where that old the meat was transparent. Chicken wings looked days old. Boiled rice was missing. Food was cold. Curry sauce completely different to the previous time we ordered. Refund wanted. Will be making a visit

Omg my first curry since coming home the USA and it was bloodly delish and the prawn crackers I forgot how much I missed then .

Honestly every time we've got food lately from here the chips have been raw tonight my order came to £30and the same again also got the chips nd curry sauce and the sauce is all over the bag fuming like!!

Food was rotten🤢ordered a chicken curry chicken came still bleeding 🤮 they even had the cheek to not even send my chips out that I had to pay extra for! I dont recommend at all need shutting down gonna make somone seriously ILL!! Pure rotten🤢🤮

King prawn curry. There were only 5 small overcooked prawns, the fried rice was hard and dry and the prawn crackers were stale

Had to give 1 star as couldn't give 0 stars. Asked for no onions in my curry and got an onion curry with 2 pieces of chicken n 2 pieces of pork. Rang to sort it out and they didn't want to know, passed to 2 different people on the phone, couldn't be bothered, rude and blamed me. Gone from loyal customer to never use again!!.

Got chicken, fried rice and chips with gravy, was hot when delivered, delivery driver was polite and smiling when he passed my food, the rice and gravy were especially amazing but it was all to a good standard.

Very disappointed had some nice meals from here but gave takeaway Amis for few month so ordered from here ..chips tasted like last night dry as sticks no flavour and cold so heated up in the oven and the beef curry could taste the flour which had been added to thicken the curry sauce not very nice at all won't order again sorry...

Lovely food as always was before lockdown. Not complaining about the fact because we had the whole restaurant to our selves. Was completely empty

Cant give less than a star unfortunately, woman that was serving ignorant and ignored me for 10 mins while sat on her phone, and answering calls, the chips must of been warmed up of 3 days ago. Even my 5 year old said they we discusting like chewing on paper !! Rotten

Just ordered from here and usually it is beautiful but tonite i have found was very salty could not eat it bit happy

Ordered here around 2 month ago, it was absolutely beautiful so changed our custom to this Chinese. Only to explain this, as the worst decision we have made. Going completely down hill. Placed an order tonight, only for it to take 1hour and 20 mins to come. As I was on the phone to see where it was, it showed up. Said this to the lady on the phone so she rudely put the phone down on me. Then the food itself was disgusting. Lemon chicken looked and tasted like an old leather boot, chips were solid and dry. Will not be coming here again! Even the dog turned his nose up at it.

Placed a order for delivery 16/5/2020 two hours passes no food so we give them a ring see what's happening it will be 15 mins, 40 mins goes by still no food so I ring again speaks to the lass n allshe has to say is well its out with the driver it finally got here 21:32 poor service and food was nowt special neither considering the wait

First time ordering and I was not disappointed! So impressed and will definitely be ordering again. Fast delivery and food was gorgeous!

Ordered 5 times from this wonderful restaurant and got to say the food is amazing. I can't believe "Bishop Auckland" has eventually got a take away that makes food like this. Next time we have guests over, we ordering from here so we can show off just how amazing this is. Proud of punch we have somewhere like this in Bishop Auckland. Its putting our area back on the Map!!!!! Well Done Hong Kong House...... your food is simply amazing and always hot, plus tasty as anything, oh my drooling already!

Ordered a couple times, both times delivery has been over an hour and a half, food is reasonably ok for the price, the chips aren't worth trying. Taste and look like they're from the day previous.

Absolutely disgusting!! Prawns like rubber, chips rewarmed from a previous night, rice was hard! Rang to complain and offered 20% discount of next order explained would never go again! Offered half of the money back, but asked if we would put the food back into the trays and send it back with the driver when brings refund. Wonder why they want them back? To send on again?

Ordered chips, salt pepper chicken and spare ribs with curry sauce. To our discust we found what we could only describe as a dead spider in our salt & pepper chicken! (Could only identify because of its legs) safe to say we wont be going here again!!!!!! 🤮🤢

Chips are rare and look like they have been stepped on..these are not oven chips they look like seconds from a fish n chip shop..disgusting

Absolutely diabolical. Order was written on paper. Given to the English lady behind the counter. Still totally wrong. And I wouldn't care but it was 2 simple combination dishes!! Never gets better this place, no matter how many names it has.
