Wok Inn Express in County Durham

Meal was very poor chips missing off mixed grill rang up wasnt spoke to very nice was told you dont get chips with it rang back up again agreed to send chips out the mixed frill was a rock hsrd bit steak the rest was onions loads of tbem no sausage or amything like the week previous thenother meal we got the rice was sloppy disgusting wont be goin back

Delivery very fast, courteous driver , and food tasty but portion size drastically reduced last twice we've ordered so while this was our new favourite, I'm now less keen to reorder

Ordered a Thai green chicken curry and when I opened it, it smelt funny, I thought it was just the fish sauce but when I tasted it, it tasted disgusting and I couldn’t eat it. I’m not a fussy eater but there was no way I was eating that. It all went in the bin and was a waste of money, husband had a curry and the curry sauce wasn’t very nice either. Won’t be going back.

Absolutely outstanding. I'm surprised that the rating isn't better as the food is always fast and more importantly good quality. Perfectly seasoned, good quantity, tender meat and extremely fast.

Ordered food. Told it would be an hour. 1 hour 30 minutes later not delivered. Tried to phone for 20 minutes and just got the engaged tone. No way could it have been engaged continuously for 20 minutes. We literally live 5 minutes up the road

Me and my Husband order from here every time we get takeout and there food is so gourgos the salt and pepper squid is to die for and the chips rice and curry sauce is lush I can't get enough and it's so affordable that's why me and my husband love ordering from here!! 😁🤤

First time ordered had to phone after 45 mins to see where order was said missed door number off so why not ring said would be out in 20 mins had to phone again after 30 mins arrived 5 mins after that Food was nice but don't think will order again after service received Not the delivery persons failt

Shocking!!!!! Did a bank transfer.....screenshot this as proof to show driver.... 4 hours later received a call accusing me of not paying....absolutely disgusting. Will not return there again. Average food and disgusting attitude

Food was delicious, special house chowmein, mushroom omelette and chips, big portions delivered hot, will use again

1st time ordering from here and can honestly say the best freshest tastiest Chinese ever 👌from ordering to delivery 25mins. Will definitely order again S&P King prawns Special curry, fried rice and chips delicious

This was my favourite Chinese until last night we ordered mushroom foo yung when we got it the rice was stone cold and the foo yung looked like it had been dropped and shoved back in container it had no taste whatsoever so won't be going there ever again waste of money I will be going back to golden gate up dean bank

Order from here quite alot recently released that when I've been ringing my ordered in the the counter staff and drivers have been adding money onto my bill and charging me more. When confronted I just got a whole bunch of attitude. So now I've stopped going worked it out they've probably conned over £30 if not more out of me.. trading standards have been informed!!!

Not massively impressed with the food from here, the food is either too spicy, too bland or too rich! Sorry but that's just my opinion

Ordered a take-away a few days ago. Not good at all. The worst hot & sour I have every tasted. Chicken chow mein was tasty though the rest had to be thrown.

Asked for just sausage and chips for my son and nothing else, the sausages came in gravy 🤦‍♂️ and my special in black bean sauce is the worst Iv ever had , it was full of crunchy bits and tastes like a packet sauce, only thing good was the delivery was quick.

Food is usually bang on but today it was absolutely disgusting … chicken was slimey and horrible and the dish didn’t taste like it use to had to go in bin it was that vile don’t no what’s happened rice was hard and definitely uncooked…gone down hill majorly 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is the fifth time we have used the Wok Inn Express, the food is delivered hot and is delicious, love the seaweed and at about £10 per head is good value.

I was a little sceptical ordering from here for the first time but the food was delicious. My local Chinese makes overly salty food so this was a nice refreshing change. Will be back.

They started off brilliant. Food was always great and delivery was always exceptional. However very recently their customer service has declined and the quality of food has become borderline mediocre. Best avoided.

Never in my life have I phoned for a Chinese and I said 20 mins she said how sooner can u get here I went well how sooner will it be done she said 5 minutes , how the hell can anyone cook food in 5 minutes unless it’s already cooked and warmed , disgusting will never ever come here after that

These are absultly disgusting behaviour on there staff the delivery driver banging on me door while I have a baby in bed it was 8 o'clock at night and then because he wasn't informed that we paid for food online they snatched food off my partner and demanded more money we had to call the restaurant for them to say yes we paid now give us the food but still stood there and asked for money no respect at all if they had better staff then they would be a good place but if they can't have staff who have respect for customers then definitely not worth giving money to them

Just had a takeaway. Best we’ve had for a long time. Very fast delivery, piping hot absolutely delicious ! We will be back ! Highly recommended !

Absolutely disgusting customer service and food was swimming in sauce, soggy chips and hardly's any meat in the meal, will never order from here again.

Food is always lovely here, everything is always fresh and the portion sizes for what you get is great! Staff are lovely too.

Best chinese if tasted in 30 year ..so tastey and u get loads trays are realy deep and packed with meat in the currys...I have to recomend the bq ribs in sauce and the special house curry😋😋😋😋

One of the best Chinese we've had for ages super quick delivery and food was piping hot this was the first time we've used the Wok Inn but it'll be first choice from now on food was spot on

Lovely Chinese everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and the ribs were a good size and nice and tender, satay sauce is lush. Delivery was really fast and food was lovely and hot when it arrived

First time using this chinese and never again,we got a starter for 2 and it was shocking,the ribs were burnt along with the prawn toast the chicken skewers were dry as toast horrible,main was special curry with very little meat it was a very basic curry sauce with a bit meat and nothing else,we also got chips gravy with onions there was more onion than chips,this was all delivered so payment at door which I was short changed by a £1 I wanted to ring up and complain about the food but there was no getting through to them as it was constantly engaged...
