Best pizzas in Bishop Auckland,I've tried a few places but this is the best, recommended

My only complaint is we don't always get the extra garlic that we pay for. It happened again tonight. It Spoils an otherwise excellent meal

Food took a hour n half to come ordered for years n driver that came was arrogant as owt slamming on letterbox when knew I was coming to told soon as tell him stop doing that starts swearing n threatening not to order again don't worry about it I won't lucky fella doesn't grab him cocky people like that shouldn't work in them jobs

Bertos for Life. The pizzas are absolutely elite 10/10 and fast service

Food was awful, arrived later than time provided and was practically stone cold. Poor quality meat (full of grizzle), portions minuscule for the price. First and last time ordering from here, will stick to higher quality takeaways. Also received a 1.5l bottle of Coca Cola that was out of date by seven months.

Food cold again won't be ordering nomore

Never been and won’t ever go, driving behind the Bertos car from Sedgefield the passenger was throwing rubbish from the car, disgusting behavior, absolute lack of respect.

Ordered a few times and nearly every time the order is missing an item or wrong. Gave benefit of the doubt as enjoyed the food sometimes. Today was the final straw. Couldn't complete the order so gave an alternative item less than the cost of previous item. Food was partially cold, fries half done and pizza doughy.

Bought 5 chicken wings £6? Came with nothing, got outside to the car they burnt a hole through the polystyrene box! Anyone want melted plastic with you food? No me neither :-(bout 8 men working there and a kid sitting on the shelves) no thanks

First time time ordering here and I was not disappointed!!! Very nice pizza, amazing chicken parmesan and the BEST coleslaw I have ever tasted!!! Will definitely be ordering again.

The man who owns/works here was caught by staff at the shop I work at spitting on the tomatoes in the produce section. We tried to find the evidence before he left the shop so we could confront him but it was found after he left. I have photos to back up my claim. I promise I will never order from here ever, if he's spitting in public places then what is he doing to pizzas in the back of his shop.

Everything is Lovely here, But the coleslaw, OMFG, Truly Delicious, Always have this with my parmo, Highly Recommended

Can not even cook a cheeseburger and fries and never had a bun as wet in me life must off had it stood out in the rain 🤦 no pride in there trade shamefull, wouldn't even feed it to me dogs that bad 🤮

Lordy me, never tasted anything so vile in my life, was disgusting save your money guys and stay away to avoid disappointment…. Straight in the bin it went smelt looked and tasted horrible wouldn’t even give a 1 star but had too to leave review

I am chicken parmo lover, hence I try to try parmo wherever I go for takeaway. The quality of the cooked chicken was perfect, juicy thick meat inside with excellent coating of crumbs and bachamel/cheese melt, topped with chilli as I like a bit of a spice. I also tried their fresh dough veg. Pizza and was delighted with the taste. Takeaway staff was very friendly and polite. Love to go there again.

Incredibly amazing food, service and prices. Would highly recommend trying something different too. Definitely one of the best takeaways in Bishop Auckland. From wraps to fried chicken and burgers to shawarma 🍔🍗😋😋😋

Neva again. Only half order and when i phone back for rest was told i had to pay for it.....even thou i already had. Plenty better about in Bishop and better value.

The best Kebab shop in the area guaranteed. We order probably twice a month and never had a bad meal yet. Southern fried chicken wrap, garlic sauce & cheesy chips, the best you will get! Fairly priced and no stupid wait times for delivery either!

Ive had two takeaways from here in the last week because of how nice! I rang up after issues with JustEat I'm glad i did staff on the phone and delivery are lovely and the food is lovely and hot especially the shawarma wrap i had today. DELICIOUS

Lovely food never had any problems with orders only one thing I will say is chips could do with been cooked a bit longer might just be personal preference as that's how I prefer mine still nice though but other than that I recommend

Food was cold, forgot our pizza, called them up about it said they’d re deliver it, after ringing up five minutes later to ask for sauces I said I’d pay for I heard “it’s the same number again” in a snarky tone.

Ordered food over the phone and it still hasn’t arrived and their not picking up the phone rubbish service

Wouldn't even give them 1 star. When food eventually arrived it was stone cold. Some of the order was wrong as they hadn't read the note about taking something out which could actually cause my girlfriend to have a serious allergic reaction. Very dangerous! When I rang up, they were very rude and unhelpful, don't order from here!!

OMG FFS DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE It is absolutely disgusting I mean beyond BELIVE , My Parmo was like a scrambled egg or omelette ,the chicken was soaked with fat it was vile ! eventually I was sick, after finding a big black hair which was sealed between the egg ( parmo home made sauce NOT ) the hygiene is terrible too caught them picking there nose and they just carried on serving !! I phoned them ???? Anyway to add insult to injury they were completely rude swearing at me n telling me to stick it basically aww we’ll never mind nothing lost I’d never spend another penny ! Don’t know how they still trading!!

(yes this is an anonymous account) went there with my friend not long ago. the staff were rude. i asked a question and they were rude about it, then i said something wrong and they all laughed at me for it the entire time i was in the shop. i was very uncomfortable, not to mention the fact i’m 16 and they didn’t leave me alone until i left the shop. i did like the food, but honestly the service made me so uncomfortable i’ll never go back.

Got pizza and kebabs was gorgeous good portions

This is my 3 time of getting a mixed kebab from Bertos and it was beautiful the first time but its getting better. We really enjoyed it again. Its so hard to find a decent kebab but we have now quality

Absolutely terrible service, ordered one of the most expensive meals on their own website and when the order arrived it was short of 2 x garlic sauces I phoned up to state this and they said they would send it out and would be with me in 15 to 20 mins 40 mins later I phoned them up again to ask where the garlic sauce was yet again they said how many, I said 2 and they said it was on its way. When it arrived there was only 1 garlic sauce surely they should have someone checking the order before it goes out, I said to the driver this and he did not seem bothered that they got it wrong as I said there was a garlic short. This used to be our regular but they have lost a customer in us and I will be sure to let my friends and family know they they do not please its customers. And wrote back as if to say "Not our problem" good customer service not We wont be going back there again. Also my meal was spoilt due to having to put it in the microwave. Thanks

After husband doing a 12 hour shift, he was hungry and ordered an expensive meal. Bertos forgot sauce, he phoned them ,was told 15/20 minutes more. Phoned again after waiting an hour. Told on it's way. Turned up 10 minutes after phone call. Only gave 1 sauce, husband pointed this out and driver walked away. Food gone cold having to put it in microwave. Hard chips now, hard pitta bread. 1 sauce down. Bertos attitude is so what. Nice treatment of NHS .Won't be ordering anymore from Bertos . Terrible service and poor customer service.

Once again bertos disappoints tikka wrap with salad was ordered and guess what no salad to be seen, may be my last time I use bertos, to many mistakes being made 😞

Nixy but scrap. Had to chew through 2 meters of tortilla wrap before munching on a slim lined bit of chicken,even then i had to tackle the tesco cheese singles. The garlic bread was good but one slice was hard. Chips bang average in every department, bit soggy but did a job. Garlic sauce ok but how can you get that wrong. Pepsi was the best bit. 2/5. If you go don’t get the parmo wrap aka cheese and tortilla wrap. see ya in a bit Steve stars - 1/10 Steve xx

Not even worth the one star, the garlic bread kebab grill was disgusting, pizzas wouldn't have been so bad if they where actually hot

We were in the area looking for halal places, The shop owner and other staff members were very friendly. The menu is great we ordered a hotshot parmesan, The portion was big and very well made and presented well. There is no dine in option but take out and delivery are available. The food is good quality and value for money

We were visiting the area and had munchies. We looked online reviews and decided to choose berths.we were not disappointed. I loved my pizza it was cheesy .wrap was yum.chips were nice the garlic sauce was amazing. We did ring to add onto the order they were happy to help.i definitely recommend and order again thankyou

Very nice pizzas, staff friendly, shop is generally quite clean. Sometimes it has been crowded with teenagers but not recently. We once ordered And bought two pizzas online and didn't use the deal on the menu. The guy told us to check the menu for the deal next time to save us money. I'm sure plenty of other businesses might not give that advice.

Ordered online 2 -12 inch pizza's and xl donner kebab,delivered spot on time by driver Jeff Bell. We found it very funny that my name was also Jeff Bell.Food was hot tasty and lots of topping on pizza.

Absolutely disgraceful food, pizza was soggy, chips where greasy. Manager was very rude when we asked for a change of food. Cheesy chips in the containers, cheese sticking to the polystyrene. I would not recommend here. But I would recommend Mojos.

Very happy with our order yet again . The last couple times we have orderd the food has improved the BBq wrap and the chicken tikka wrap haven't been dry or had too much sauce in . Delivery has been up to an hour early on just eat .I really recommend ordering from here

Not the first time but missing accompaniments again from order although advertised as so. Called this time to let them know. Man I spoke to was very rude saying 'listen love.... etc. etc...' very patronising then he put the phone down on me. Extremely poor service. Last time I order from here so disappointed as a regular customer over the years.

Absolute JOKE of a takeaway. Ordered literally an hour ago. It came, once i started on the shawarma it was only a little bit later i ended up biting into a screw inside the shawarma and snapping my tooth in half. I contacted the shop to the stuck up idiot manager saying THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR SHAWARMA. Well buddy. Quite clearly there is. Idiot.

Used to be the best place for a takeaway then went downhill quite a bit, have since picked it up again and the chicken wraps are again the best in town. Really glad they have turned it round again.

Food is nice however in the past I have had orders sent wrong, a longer wait time than specified without any phone call to explain and just last night they had no Internet but I placed an online order then when I.made a phone call about it the staff member basically called me a liar

Order placed at 5.15 for collection @ 6.00 on the counter at exactly 6.00!! Ordered the Supreme munch box!!!! Massive portions red hot...maybe a medium Supreme could be an option lol fantastic value for money ..
