Hong Kong House in Merton

my food was warm up in a microwave.The meat hot on one side and cold on the over the meat taste like oil and water.

The food is not that bad to be honest. The reason for the 1 star is because i found 2 bits of metal from the wire wool, must be from wn cleaning the wok.

This restaurant only takes cash.

Went in and ordered against my better judgement and wish I had gone elsewhere food was bland stodgy and the sweet and sour was like drinking vinegar.. noodles had nothing but onion chunks in and again no flavour other than what I can describe as a soap they've washed the pan with definitely would not use again .. threw most of in the bin and has been spewing my guts up since with what little I did try and keep down.. even the husband and son agree they will never eat here again

I used to leave very good and very bad reviews on the place visited. This place deserves 5 stars for sure. Sorry, more but it's not possible. The place itself doesn't attract customers because it's a bit out of time but it's clean. The owner is very polite and kind. They prepared good portions of food and the prices are good as well. When I opened the package at home it looked attractive and when I ate it I was like on a cloud. The food is really well prepared, the flavours are very well balanced like I never had in my life in others Chinese restaurants. Now it's my favourite one. I will come back again and again for sure in the future. Sorry I was too hungry to take pictures and I finished in no time, but trust me, you have to try.

Sweet and sour chicken with noodles is decent.

Delicious food with great value! The beef hofun, Special fried rice, Singapore fried rice (all big portions) and the hot & sour soup were top class! Thanks to the lady boss for the free mini spring rolls and the lovely and spicy chilli oil. Will definitely see you next week!

New to the area, found out go to first time around. Non greasy, good prices and delicious, not overly salt food. Highly recommend (we wish they did do lettuce wraps as a starter though, only thing missing)

Ordered on JustEat, but will always call direct in future as the staff member who I spoke to was so lovely! Pancake roll is not veggie! Was not on the menu, but when I called the lady immediately apologised and sent us 2 portions of veggie spring rolls...! Fantastic service and great food!

Nice cheep traditional old style Chinese place. Good amounts. The only thing is that the meat quality could be better, and price could be slightly higher for that quality

Out in Mitcham looking for a quick bit to eat. Rhis was fast friendly service. Good amounts for the portion. Will visit again. We only ened up here as KFC was really busy so did not want to wait. So we feel that we ended up by getting a good experience.

Food arrived quickly and was still hot. Felt a bit more effort could have gone into the rice dish, as it only had peas and chicken, a little more veg would have been nice.

Spent over a 100pound with this place for there food to be unacceptable. The crispy beef was soggy and cold pork balls were tough and chewy and fat. Overall food was quiet cold.

Very friendly and quick in making your food.

Not very keen on being lied to. Waited an hour and a half to be told that the delivery should be there only for them to then turn around and say that the delivery is just leaving, "so sorry, goodbye". Will not be ordering again, ever. Food Below average. At the end, over 2 hour wait, definitely not worth it!

Will not be ordering from here again.. The sauces where bland and watery, the curry had no taste to it. The ribs were fatty and tasteless!! Did not enjoy the meal at all.. Not worth the money!!!
