Tuvimos parto. La comida era muy fresca y muy deliciosa. Las porciones eran generosas. De hecho, sería una buena idea tener una opción de porciones completas o medias. Las tostadas de gambas eran preciosas, el pollo con piña tenía un montón de verduras crujientes condimentables. El arroz frito estaba muy bueno.

Ordered a takeaway and it was very disappointing. Ordered salt and pepper squid. There was only 2 pieces of squid and the rest batter. The salt and pepper chicken lacked flavour and was greasy. Expensive and poor .

This used to be a good Chinese takeaway but my recent experience when ordering through there web site was disgusting, I filled in the account details with foodhub and placed my order. I then had a phone call from the shop saying could I go and find the driver as he was lost, the guy on the other end was saying that I hadn't filled out my full address and was very obnoxious, I checked my order which was detailing the address as correct but the shops reciet was missing the house number. I was also charged £2.50+50p for delivery but also the prices have gone through the roof and the worst port was the food quality was rubbish, hardly any meat and very dry noodles almost as if it was made hours before delivery. I know many who have walked away, bring back the old zing vaa !!!.

We have been using this takeaway for years and never had a problem. The service was always fantastic. I phoned to order our food on Friday 3rd and the lady seemed very stressed! My husband is allergic to seafood so I explained this to her and how serious it was. The order can 45 mins later and my husbands dish had prawns in it !!!! Had he not noticed this if the prawns were underneath then this could have been serious and you can actually die from this. I made the call and explained how serious this was and the lady showed no empathy what's so ever. I will never use this takeaway again.

Very good food! Portions large and very tasty! Enough leftover for lunch/dinner the next day. Service prompt and overall very satisfactory. We order by phone or in person.

Monday night and our usual Chinese is closed. Search of internet gave us a local choice but " scores on the doors" hygiene assessment were 2 stars! So not wishing to risk food poisoning we searched again. This time Hong Kong Garden popped up. Scores on the Doors 5/5 , 1 more than our usual so we gave it a try. We couldn't find their menu on line so gave them a call, old school. They were so helpful and friendly. First mouthful revealed that the quality and taste were superior to our usual takeaway so now we will become regulars. We ordered 3 separate dishes and none of us could manage to finish them off as portion size very generous. Definitely worth giving it a try if you are in the Ecclesall area.

I have had a few takeaways from here. They are always tasty and there is a good selection of vegetarian meals. It’s my number one Chinese/Thai takeaway

We've been getting take-aways from Hong Kong Garden for the last 13 years, and they're consistently the best! Occasionally we try others, and they tend to compare unfavourably. Portions are generous, plenty of meat/fish/veg, and food is always ready in a timely fashion. Service is quick & efficient, and food is always ready in good time. I'm a big fan King Prawn Foo Yung, and our 8y/o absolutely loves the special chow mein.

I first used this takeaway four weeks ago. I have used it five times since then. The food is outstanding and the portion size is very generous. Lisa and Sue are so very helpful and very nice. I heartily recommend the beef curry, wandering dragon and the beef chow mein, all are so very tasty. I cannot wait for the weekend when I can have another wonderful meal. Thank you Hong Kong Garden.

Despite calling up twice the food was still over 30 minutes late and when it arrived we were given the wrong order. Once we finally got the right food, the sweet and sour sauce was of a watery consistency and beige in colour - not very appetising at all. The chips were burnt and dry and the tofu was slimy. Won't order from here again

Great service. Some lovely food but a little disappointed by the chop suey which I felt was a little bland.

Had chicken chow mein, duck in bbs, veg spring rolls and salt and pepper chips. All tasted very nice with large portions. Salt and pepper chips were slightly soggy but other than that cannot fault. Would definitely order from here again'

Food was deliscious as ever! Was slightly late but the driver was very apologetic! Did get one item wrong but after ringing they said another one would be on its way and it came and was delicious!

Food was shocking. Ordered some prawn balls and they arrived in a fried chicken box.. very innapropriate to say i’m Vegetarian! And they were literally just battered prawns, not in balls at all. And the sweet and sour sauce wasn’t sweet, it was a browny colour and incredibly watery and left my plate literally swimming in it when i’d only put a little bit on. Honestly the worst Chinese i’ve ever had!

Food was 30 mins early which a lot would find great but thought I had enough time to nip to the shop in the meantime and found myself running back to collect it and had no notice from the restraunt. 80% of the order was cooked perfectly, however, just really didn't taste of anything, was bland and the shredded smoke chicken was dry with no 'smokiness' at all. Won't be ordering again.

it was nice enough. a couple of the items where soggy and dripping out. and the sweet and sour sauce was very watery the rest of it . iwas okay though

Food was all good, whole family enjoyed it including some very picky eaters. Delivery could have been a little faster but it was acceptable for such a large order.

Thai curry was so runny it leaked over everything. vermicelli noodles tasted like chow mien. Still all edible and ok, but we've certainly had better from here.

Would never order from here again and certainly wouldn't recommend. We received our prawn toast and chicken balls in a fried chicken box, food was steal and just didn't taste nice at all. I don't know what they try and pass off as sweet and sour sauce but it certainly isn't that. Was very watery. Do not eat here

Gloopy special curry, bbq ribs were horrible, and the quality of it all was awful and at the same time it was really expensive,. Never again.

This company will be receiving a very serious call. This is not the 1st, nor the 2nd but at 3rd time me and my flat mate have ordered here. I get the same thing (special chow mien) and the only thing I request is no prawns because of an allergy.. every single time, there seems to be more added in. Not very good!

the food was good yet I've had much better elsewhere but having said that, the prices are good for the amount you get and the delivery man seemed very friendly, but all in all I personally wouldn't go here again

Really pleased. Early delivery, about 30 mins from ordering to delivery on Sat night at about 8pm. Crispy shredded beef very good, could be a little crispier but very tasty. Chicken with cashew nuts spot on, lots of meat. Will order from here again.

Lovely staff, but I didn't really enjoy the food. I thought the chicken was quite chewy and I didn't enjoy the taste of the rice. Was almost as if it was warmed up in the microwave.

It was early! the only good thing about it. it was early because it was reheated. The rice was cold in the middle, the crispy shredded chilli beef wasn't anything like its description. no chilli and definitely not crispy in the slightest. The salt and pepper chips were soggy and cold. Overall really disappointing meal.

I think this is our 20th order from Hong Kong Garden which says as much about the quality of food as it does the quality of my culinary skills. The Crispy Beef is fantastic, as is the rice. I've never been disappointed and the portions are great. If there are better alternatives for Chinese food in Sheffield then that would be an indulgence rather than a necessity for enjoying a takeaway. Keep up the good work, but keep in mind that the Crispy Beef portion sizes have slightly reduced recently - although not to a point in which you could fathom a grumble.

Got to the shop and although it gave you option for collection and pay cash or card when you pick up when I got there they wouldn't allow me to pay by card (something to do with ordering through just eat) so had to go and and find a cash machine. When we got back and unpacked it we were missing part of our order (maybe my fault for not checking the bag before leaving the shop) so had to call them to tell them as I had been charged for it. Lady on the phone was very polite and apologised and within 20 minutes they dropped off the rest of our order. Food in general was tasty although my veg in sweet and sour tasted a bit strange not like anywhere else I've had it... definitely would not order anything sweet and sour from there again.

The food i got was nice but I ordered a Thai King Prawn Chow Mein and they forgot to put in any prawns. Just a tub of noodles.. Not impressed!!

Food arrived 20 minutes early. I had go a and Malaysia chow mein. Both were delicious. Apparently the sweet and sour sauce wasn't great, but everything else was lovely. Thank you.

Nearly 2 hour delivery time. Rice was cold, sweet and sour sauce was like water; missing part of the order, the restaurant did get these sent right out however!

I didn't get what I ordered, they delivered a cheaper item. I found food greasy and pretty much inedible. Most of it has gone in the bin. Won't be ordering from here again.

On this occasion, although the chicken fried rice was cooked nicely, I found it to be much more saltier than normal which reduced my enjoyment of what has been a perfectly balanced meal in the past. Hopefully this will be a one-off and I can put my salty experience behind me in future.

Estimated delivery was 40 mins when I ordered, this was immediately changed to over an hour as soon as the order was put through. We ended up opting to pick up as we did not want to wait. We got the food and was mostly passable but the Thai green curry was inedible as it was way too salty. Not just take away salty but dropped an extra tablespoon of salt salty. Not nice. Would not order from these again.

Prawn toast was fine as was the rice. Chill shredded chicken awful and chowmein was not chowmein awful experience.

We've tried lots of Chinese takeaways near this area and all have been sadly, terrible. Not this one though. Arrived quickly and was really nice. Couldn't ask for more.

AMAZING! Delivery time was under 20minutes... even though it said an hour, pleasant surprise! And the food was really tasty and very nice! Definitely the best Chinese takeaway we've been to in Sheffield! 10/10 recommend! We'll definitely be coming back!

Food very good as always but 1st time ordered on just eat. It said one time for the order to be delivered but once paid added 30mins. This would have made a hour and half wait ! Phoned up and they said within an hour so as originally said.

Unfortunately both times we ordered from here they ignored the allergy request. It's a shame because the food is really nice but having been let down a second time we won't be ordering from here again.

While my husband was happy with his meal (a mixed meat dish), my vegetarian Kung Po Bean Curd dish was awful - bad tofu (the soft gloopy kind), veg not great either and terrible sauce (lacking in flavour and very watery). Delivery was very quick, but I'd rather wait for a decent meal.

Delivery speed was exceptionally good, the food arrived in almost 20 minutes instead of the 55 minute wait predicted. Unfortunately everything on the combo platter just tasted like it had been previously cooked and then reheated for our meal via deep frying. The duck was nice except for the hoi sin sauce which was revolting. It was like a brown sweet vinegar - had to eat the pancakes dry. The salt and pepper chips were well flavoured but a bit soggy.

Original delivery time was delayed, had to wait nearly another hour after this due to Chinese New Year. One item was missing from my order, the restaurant was uncontactable and have had no help yet from Just Eat who also have been very difficult to contact.

Food was 30 mins late and had already been delayed by another 30 mins. The order didn't have everything in it. I probably wouldn't order again from here but the food was alright.

The combo starter was very disappointing; small rub pieces, soft seaweed in a tiny pot, and the spring rolls hardly had any filling. The sweet and sour chicken and special fried rice were OK, but nothing special. My usual is much nicer (closed today), and I'll stick with that, I wouldn't order from here again.

Amazing food, the best Chinese in Sheffield by far. When our order came they had forgotten our drinks so we found up and they brought them around and gave us the money back for them too. So polite and lovely. Highly recommend
