Normally you are excellent, but today I was disappointed, I ordered the chef’s special, Portuguese style chicken, which was supposed to have a creamy onion sauce, it was completely dry and flavourless, sorry but have to be honest.

Food was very nice, first time ordering here loved the addition of the fortune cookies

Well ordered food and they forgot a meal off order and they were really snotty on the phone saying you got free crackers and laughed. If I could give it no stars I would avoid the place.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. The food turned up luke warm, the food was undercooked, the veg within the meat dishes were raw!!! Uncooked onions, peppers, carrots the lot. Never again!!!! First and last time eating here... this place needs to be urgently shut down like various other local food places I know of if this is your standard of food?!

Absolutely Disgusting. I don’t know what’s happening to Chinese takeaways nowadays but finding one that isn’t rubbish is like gold dust. This place is foul. The BBQ pork had so little pork and came swimming in oil but with plenty half cooked bean sprouts. The sweet and sour chicken was mediocre which came yet again with raw veg this time carrots and onions. Everything just bland with the only discernible flavour was that of old cooking oil. I felt ill in less than half hour of eating this garbage. Do yourself, your stomach and wallet a favour and avoid.

Ordered a takeaway tonight for the family and absolutely disgusted an hour and a half wait, just for all the food to be stone cold

always ordered from here and normally very fast and hot. unfortunately food wasn't hot and delivery was late. not sure what had went on tonight but a little bit of a let down considering it only had to come 3 minutes away 0.3 miles to travel. will try again on next order but please don't ruin the reputation of good hot quality food 😊

Half my order was missing and instead of apologising, I was told the items are in the bag. Was then told they will not deliver the missing items because it was snowing (it had just started)& I wouldn't receive a refund for missing items only a credit

delivered earlier then scheduled. food was hot and very tasty. I like the meat as they were thicker chunks then I've ever had before, especially in special dish. ribs were lovely. food didn't taste like it was full of chemicals. will definitely order again and try some new bits

salt and pepper chicken , beef and mushrooms curry, egg fried rice , chow mein. spring rolls all fantastic again , but on this occasion the chicken balls wasn't great very doughy , bar that they always follow my notes and everything else was great , thanks guys

the chips were a bit off not enough salt and pepper ,chowmein had a weird smell. and I think i had a whole onion in mine ,the beef was falling apart like wow 🤩amazing , the curry sauce and salt and pepper prawns amazing ! food coma pending !

Delivery time was awful and my chowmein was cold. All other food was edible, would order again because it was delicious and hopefully this was just an extra busy evening. I was disappointed how late my order was

Food was out for delivery and apparently delivered even though I called the restaurant and they told me my order went missing? Ordered food at 7:30 and didn’t receive it until 9:30 because of this. And after all that, I received no apology and no good will gesture to apologise for it? Appalling

I have to say this Chinese has always been my favourite. not sure if u guys were busy but when I got my food it wasn't very hot. I ordered singapore chowmein and I did ask for it to be a little bit more spicy in which I would say it was but the only thing was it was spiced up using a spiced powder not fresh chillies and it was very powdery and dry this is the first time i havent been too happy sorry guys I always leave honest reviews.

food came quick and it was hot (thank you) pancake rolls were delicious I also ordered salt and pepper chicken it wasn't bad bt ome pieces were a bit soggy (not crispy) and a few pieces of chicken had a little tang to them and didn't taste very nice. I really do hope my favourite takeaway isn't going downhill 🥺I've been so happy with u guys for a long time now and u have always given my true honest ratings but the last two meals have not been the same as they used to be so sorry guys 🫂

3rd time ordering and another satisfied family meal , beautiful beef curry , lovely fried rice , salt and chilli chicken is perfect , chicken balls are great and followed the order notes and swapped the sweet and sour sauce for bbq which was great and appreciated , chow mein was perfect, I can't fault hong kong express , 1 of the best , many more orders to come :)

salt and pepper chicken was perfect, salt and pepper chips perfect, maybe next time ile order a normal curry as Singapore curry was full of coconut flavour (as stated) but took me by surprise very overpowerd, other than that my meal was perfect and will order again thank you

Driver delivered items and subsequently littered outside my driveway with just eat order paperwork I’ve reported the littering issue to local authorities and want immediate action taken

they got the order wrong...l had ordered prawn balls and sweet and sour chicken ball and they delivered two bags of of chicken balls. they had therefore overcharged for what they delivered. just check your order as they have done this before.

Been going here for 2 years no one compares.. I have friends that live in Birmingham that drive all the way to Tipton for a salt and pepper munchy box.. everyone I've had over and when I've had Chinese never had anything bad to say. Really good food and listen to all notes ie no onions etc. Really good- haven't let me down so far

Absolutely fantastic meal. very fresh, hot and good size portions. Crispy king prawn rolls were amazing, almost a lighter version of king prawn balls, juicy prawns and not at all greasy, very filling. Crispy duck in Honey orange sauce was lovely, lots of pineapple and tangy sauce, would definitely recommend. Order was delivered very quickly for a Friday night...20mins early!! excellent service.
