Not sure if it’s a new chef in but disappointed at the crispy wings now. Not crispy and a bit greasy. So sad as that’s my fave

Not sure if this takeaway has been taken over by new owners as not used for a while. Been using Hong Kong Express for 12 years as it was always good value with great food. Tonight was a serious disappointment, curry used to be thick & full of flavour, almost like a Satay sauce but what I got was runny & lacked the flavour it used to. Prices have increased substantially from less than a year ago, that combined with the quality of my meal means I won't be returning.

I ordered our usual, and when arrived the chicken balls were pink inside (see photo attached) and it arrived cold and soggy. When I rang up to complain the lady was very rude and said it couldn’t have arrived pink because they cook the chicken twice and it’s not cold because they cook and deliver straight away. She said the best they can do is a £2 refund! I am absolutely appalled by this considering we spent £36.50 and to be offered £2 back! It wouldn’t even be worth the petrol cost to collect our refund.

Order a lot of food, food was cold, chicken balls was still pink in the middle. Rang them to complain all I got was they can’t be pink they get cooked over twice. Food isn’t great at all. When i told them the food was cold they said it can’t be it gets cooked and delivered straight out.. absolutely shocking.

Ordered at 22:15 just got home at 22:30 and served it up and a small spider just crawled out of the egg fried rice that's put us off eating it and it didn't look too appetising either the beef curry looked and smelled fine but the rice didn't look great. First time going and the last time just chucked it all away waste of money as its put us off completely.

The curry was bland, no flavour! The chip were rock hard, over cooked and dry! The rice was overcooked and dry! The spare ribs were like eating a flip-flop! Disgusting!

Use this takeaway regularly have had no reason to complain about anything, food good, service excellent, always arrives in good time and hot.

We called to explain that multiple items was missing - the woman on the other end of the phone was VERY argumentative refusing to accept their mistake. No refund or delivery of food missing was offered. We therefore won't be using them again and have disposed of their menu

Food missing from an order of £96. Takeaway would not accept that 3 peoples meals where missing. Lady on the phone was argumentative, although I said multiple times all bags and boxes had been emptied and people had nothing infront of them. Custom lost forever

Food missing from a large order. Takeaway refused to accept that had missed anything. Mistakes happen but it's not on to refuse to rectify it. Avoid.

This place is filthy I've seen where their cooking and if you seen what I've seen you would never go near the place you've been warned

Staying at a Travelodge nearby. Ordered a meal online having read the reviews . Service was spot on. Food was ok but nothing special.

Ordered a can of coke to go with the meal. This was stuffed in between all the hot food making it undrinkable with my meal. The chicken tasted slimy and overall the food wasn’t good.

when one orders for 7.30pm, then the Just Eat app said it has adjusted the time to 7.40pm. this was okay. Then the delivery came at 6.40pm. this was not acceptable. Can you NOT READ THE CLOCK??????. Unfortunately, This WAS the last time we would ever order from these people again

Lovely food, ordered at 5.40 delivery expected at 6.40 and came at 6 o’clock, lovely delivery guy who seemed really genuine and the food came fresh, hot and tasty will definitely order again! Also got free prawn crackers which was a nice surprise as not many places do that anymore

Usually great service. Ordered tonight via just eat. Received a message saying food en route. Called take away and asked where food was. Driver arrived with cold food and said 1st driver couldn't find house so he brought it. He agreed food was cold and took it back. I called to say food was on way back and was told more food was being cooked and would be out shortly. Received a call from just eat saying take away had cancelled order i told them what had happened and was told they hadnt been told that and would refund. Called take away and boss wouldnt come to phone and just shouted if we wanted more food it wpuld be 2 hours. Totally disgusting service. Will NEVER use them again

Food was not hot on arrival & wrong item was delivered. Phoned to let them know, woman was very helpful but unfortunately our meal was ruined. Time l waited for my replacement my partner had finished his! No meat on barbecue ribs as well. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Absolutely disgusting! I spent 35 quid on treating my family...the chicken was slimy and had no resemblance to chicken what so ever! When I rang to explain the lady on the phone explained she'd had a few say the same and she'd speak to the chef. All he said was "it's the same chicken I've always used" that was it! no apology! no offer of a discount or refund! Absolutely disgraceful service!

This Chinese caters for all members of your family. It’s clean and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and they deliver locally if required. Not too expensive but great food

The special curry was tasteless and had barely any meat in it, was full of veg. Had a prawn that was very hard and chewy. Just glad we had sweet and sour chicken as well well which was OK. Disappointing as have ordered before and been satisfied.

food arrived late, missing items from the order. after several phone calls an hour later they dropped off the missing items only to rudely ask for some chips back to use for another customer which i believe is a risk to hygiene. food watery and not worth the money also the unprofessional approach and customer sevice was shocking. wouldnt dream of ordering again.

Food was not that great. Sweet and sour sauce was horrible and all sauces seemed watered down. Duck was also very very chewy, seemed over cooked and not great quality. Will not be ordering from here again. Vegetable rolls where also the worst I have had.

The food was great, the only reason for him being late was due to the adverse weather. The roads are really bad. All in all extremely enjoyable meal.

Meat was cooked to perfection; literally fell off the bone.

Cooked to perfection.... we had Lemon Chicken and Beef with Black Bean. Both were just great. Lots of other choices. Ample portions with a good balance of vegetables. Asked for "No Onions" and got no onions. Nice to be listened to.
