Hong Kong Express in Wakefield

Staying at a Travelodge nearby. Ordered a meal online having read the reviews . Service was spot on. Food was ok but nothing special.

This Chinese caters for all members of your family. It’s clean and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and they deliver locally if required. Not too expensive but great food

Sorry to say that this is one of the worst Chinese takeaways I have ever had.The duck was tough and fattyThe prawns were tough and chewyThe noodles were blandThe chicken and beef in chow main dish were the worst reformed meats I have ever tasted.Gravy was runnySalt and pepper chips were a bit on spicy side but enjoyed them

Cooked to perfection.... we had Lemon Chicken and Beef with Black Bean. Both were just great. Lots of other choices. Ample portions with a good balance of vegetables. Asked for "No Onions" and got no onions. Nice to be listened to.

food arrived stone cold, we could barely eat it. the delivery driver absolutely stunk of stale cigarettes, it was horribly overpowering.

Really disgusting duck all fat and no meat, really disappointing! And two of four dishes so really wasteful. Chicken better but low average taste. Expensive takeaway overall, wrong time (30 mins late) apology but no extras. Definitely try another Chinese first, we wouldn't use again.

I was disappointed with my order today. We didn't get no prawn crackers and the ok sauce was very spicy. Iv had ok sauce before and it's supposed to be sweet, the rice was very bland also

Both of the chicken fried rice meals in the plastic trays looked practically half full. Never seen anything like it before. The fact these were also more expensive then other chinese take aways too. Was extremely disappointed when i first saw them. Very expensive to say they weren't full like others which are also cheaper.

food was really poor , grease, pretty gross, no what I did expect it plus is well overpriced everything. didn't expect that kind of food really disappointed. The last time I will order from them only good thing tiger prawn, ( they were small. really small) but nice.

ordered at 19:40, didn't show up until 22:30. rang the restaurant at 21:30 as the delivery time was confirmed for 21:00, and they didn't even realise it had been ordered.. hopefully a system error on justeats side, apart from that the food was brilliant.

Ordered for delivery at 19.45, delivered at 18.30 whilst I was out (had a babysitter). Called to discuss the error and request a second delivery, as ordered. Was told no as the cost would be deducted from the wages of the employee who made the error. Not prepared to do anything about their mistake. Food is good but will not use again due to appalling service

Delivery time good service average food quality shocking I will never order from here again me and four memeber of my family go a chicken dish the pieces of chicken was like eating jelly vile and the curry sauce looks like it's been frozen and reheated never again will I waste money here.

Food was watery and everything was overcooked.arrived 20 minutes after the 10 minute later than origional updated time.and everything seemed to taste like mushrooms.there were only two small pieces of mushroom in the chow mein.noodles were soggy and the pork and ribs were dry and tough

Can't review the food as it's still not here we ordered food at 8.10pm it's now 10.30 and still no food phoned takeaway to be told they were busy but food would be there in 10 minutes that was last 9.50 still no food at 10.30 ring takeaway again to be told that food has left and have we not got it the girl then told me that she's not taking this shot of people on the phone and then puts the phone down. If you can't fulfil an order don't take it in the first place and try and employ staff that aren't so rude to customers after all without customers you wouldn't have a business.

Fair to say I won't be ordering on just eat again for this place... when I ring up I get free prawn crackers and free spring rolls when I spend £20 or more. I spent £22 last night and got non of these, fair to say it ruined my meal.

Usually get free prawn crackers but there wasn't any this time the udon noodles were beautiful but the duck and thai curry were just okay

Food Would of been nice if it was hot but food turned up luke warm and was 15 minutes late. Might be a idea in future to use foil trays and turn up on time. Not impressed won't be ordering again

We asked for food with less salt, which we got - but it all tasted really odd! Ordered Crispy Chilli beef but it had no chilli at all and tasted like it was covered in sugar syrup and got thrown away. Bit of a waste of money to be honest.

Really quick delivery and fantastic food.

I've used this place for as long as I can remember and the past 4 times ive ordered it has taken over an hour to arrive resulting in me having to ring and ask where it is, this evening my food was cold I had to warm it up in the microwave which if I have to do that I may as well get a micro meal, I will not order from here again

Food is ways good and hot when we receive it.The service is fast and service is ok.Have only used the delivery service and max time we have waited is 40 mins.The del person is friendly and always has change on him.

Love a takeaway from here. Lots of choice. Love the beef in blackbean and the chow mein. I like the rice from here too not sticky and full if flavour.

Sin embargo, debe asegurarse de que sus artículos gratis ir. Cada vez que se puso una bolsa y no son impresionados si llévatelos. Si ellos no quieren dar artículos gratis que realmente no debería poner en blanco y negro en sus menús

Kung po chicken tasted bland and nothing like any iv had before, salt and pepper beef was so hard you couldn't get a fork through it! Really disappointed as this was a treat for us!

The food was not great, the rice was very stodgy and it seemed like it was all put together in a hurry. I've had some good meals from there before so I'm wondering if they are struggling with demand.

Always very speedy delivery and lovely food

I was very disappointed with the crispy shredded beef. The portion was small and all I could taste was batter. Normally I get free prawn crackers too.

Arrived 5 minutes before expected time, piping hot and delicious! It is a little bit more pricey than most takeaways giving that the price of the meal doesn't include rice or chips but well worth the money! My rice was missing from the order and when I rang them the lady on the phone was lovely and offered to send me some out or give me it next time. Definitely use again! X

Was nice but the beef in the curry didn't look cooked but over all was nice.

Great meal on time, hot and good quality (especially the aromatic duck). We did get beef noodles rather than the chicken noodles that we actually ordered but the beef was nice anyway.

Came 30 mins before delivery was due, food was lovely and piping hot, will definitely use again. The only downfall is we spent over £30 and didn't get free prawn crackers but that doesn't take away the fact the food was delicious!

Two boiled rice was missing got told they busy can they add it to next order the beef curry the beef was under cooked it was pink I didn't enjoy it won't be ordering from they again attitude stunk when phoned up to say it was missing
