Just finished my dinner there. Chicken balls were horrible little to no flavour and the ones on top very dry and ones on bottom are the most soggiest thing ever. Only good thing was chicken noodle soup but came cold. I do not recommend and especially for the price , many better chinese place for cheaper or around same price (wok star, star wok, sky dragon)

Twice I have tried it now both times was terrible second time really done it for me. You can buy tastier food over the counter in Asda than here. I think it’s Scottish people kidding on there a Chinese 1/10 terrible food. Try this place at your own risk but I guarantee of you like Chinese you won’t like this place.

Back in twon to see Family & Friends and always make a bee line to the HK for their Beef Satay. I've tried others all around the world and this IMHO is still the best.

Went into the takeaway to order and food was ready in about 5 minutes which rings alarm bells that the food isn't fresh. Got it home and the chicken was bland and the batter was very soggy and had no taste. The rice was bland and the sauce was the only thing with flavour and even that wasn't the best. Even the prawn crackers had no taste so I would advise avoid this takeaway!! Would give a 0 if it was an option!!

I chose this Chinese takeout because of distance. The menu looks pretty tasty and decided to give it a try despite some of their reviews. I was very surprised that everything tasted very good. The gyoza’s were still steaming when they arrived and so was the rest of the food. All of it had great flavor and we enjoyed it very much.

Just been short changed by their delivery driver. Apparently this is not a one off after speaking to neighbours. Will not order from here again.

The meals are mediocre , but waiting 50 minutes for a take away when the shop is a ten minute walk away is absolutely ridiculous!!!! I'm fuming. Its a Thursday night in a town, (not even near the city centre) and thought I'd have had my dinner by now as I'm up early tomorrow. Too relaxed with their customers, I think!

Phoned in order to be told 20mins for pick up. We gave them 30mins just incase it was busy. On arrival shop was empty, after waiting 20mins asked what was keeping my order no reply, after another 10mins my partner came in to see what the holdup was , again he received no reply until he said give me a refund, order appeared after a few minutes after that. So it took us 1hr to get 2 soups and 2 chicken chow meins which we edible but nothing to write home about. As we were leaving shop another customer said it was pointless phoning in orders as they don't cook food until you turn up to pay. So in my opinion overpriced and a waste of time. Doesn't even deserve the 1 star but that's the lowest I can go!

We use the Hong Kong pretty much 3+ times a month. We've tasted a few things off the menu and we can say, they have always been great tasting meals. Great salt n pepper chicken wings, great Singapore chow mein....could go on all day about the food.

The food is great and Hong Kong is very busy especially at the weekend so sometimes delivery can be upto 2 hours I worked here in the past both counter and delivery and it's never had any major complaints not many Chinese takeaways have over 34 years service in the same community so they must be doing something right, they're could be better food deals but other than that the food great and staff are a great family

Waited 90 minutes, called the shop twice, told me "it's on the way", when our finally arrived, it was cold, I called the shop to advise them of this, I was verbally abused by a nasty man, who proceeded to tell me it was my own fault and I was to f#@k off

Discovered this takeaway a few months ago after trying several others in the area. We won't order anywhere else now. Breast of chicken curry is delicious and the salt n chilli chicken is flavourful and not too spicy. Proper type of chips you'd expect from an old school Chinese takeaway, piping hot fried rice and loads of lovely crispy prawn crackers. We've never had a bad meal or bad service from here and our delivery usually arrives very quickly but maybe living nearby helps! Don't let the shop front put you off. It's better than you'd expect.

CASH ONLY. Aside from the annoyance of having to go get money from a cash point just to grab some casual food in a mall food court, we were excited for some good Chinese food after a long journey to Glasgow. The food was mid. I didn't have particularly high expectations for Chinese food in Scotland tbh as it doesn't have a great reputation for being authentic. It was nice to see a Chinese menu. It is packed full of items that are not on the confusing English menu. The English menu is basically useless for any anglophone who wants legit Chinese food here. Thankfully, I was with a Chinese person who can read the real menu. That said, the flavours were a let down. It seemed a bit bland and lacking. It wasn't bad at all, just not that good. It seemed a little toned down like they're making it for British taste buds, even though the majority of people eating there were are Asian. Or maybe it was just an off day. I'm not sure. Maybe by Scottish standards this is cheap, but for anybody else, this was VERY expensive for the portion size and quality of the food. £13-15 for basic fried noodles or beef noodle soup is completely outrageous to me for what we got and the fact it has all the ambience of eating mediocre street food in a rundown underground mall food court. It's good for a quick bite if you're not too picky, and maybe this is the best Glasgow has to offer for Chinese food (which would be sad), but I don't think I'd bother coming back. Not at those prices.
